Redemption through Jesus
To understand what we mean when we talk about redemption through Jesus and why it is necessary for humanity we must start from the beginning, at least from the beginning of the creation of mankind.
Therefore as sin came into the world by a man, and by sin death, so death passed to all men, because all sinned.
— Romans 5:12
Shortly before the creation of mankind, the Bible tells us about a character called Satan. Isaiah 14:12-17 together with Ezekiel 28:12-19 talks about the creation of a special Cherub in which iniquity was found, this passage is attributed to Satan. Satan wanted to be equal with God as it says in Isaiah: 14:12-17 and was therefore cast out of heaven as we see in Revelation 12:7-9. When Satan was released he didn't want to be alone and brought with him one-third of the angels (Revelation. 12:3-4).
The rebelion of this being would not be without consequence and punishment, the simple fact of being cast out of heaven was not enough punishment for Satan and his angels or demons as they are now known. The punishment was then created and is known as the Lake of fire (Matthew 25:41). Note that the verse in Matthew 25:41 says that the purpose of the Lake of fire was for the devil and his angels, this means that the Lake of fire did not exist prior to the fall of Satan. Later we will explain why the man is going to that terrible place.
Adam and Eve
Adam and Eve
In Revelation 12:3-4 and compared to Genesis. 1:2 tells us that Satan disordered Earth and left it without form, this means that it was uninhabitable and could not hold any kind of life in it. God then began the process of creating life on this planet called Earth. In Genesis 2:7-8 it is written about the creation of the first man and first woman on Earth which are called Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve had a single commandment, not a list of commandments to follow, the commandment was 'Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. ' (Gn. 2:16-17). But... 'the serpent was more cunning'... and lured Eve who in turn lured Adam to eat from the fruit. Both had the option to take or reject the forbidden fruit, but both decided to take it and that's where sin entered into humanity therefore man had to be cast out of the garden (Gn. 3:23-24).
Sin and punishment
As the rebellion of Satan man's disobedience came with consequences, one of the consequences as mentioned it was that sin entered humanity as it says in Romans 5:12 and therefore all of us sin (Romans 3: 23, Psalms 51:5 ) and the price of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
Sin must be punished, there had to be a payment for sins (Hebrews 9:22). In the old testament it was paid through animal sacrifices (Leviticus 1:1-4) but was insufficient to pay for the sins of the world ther needed to be a sacrifice by which all sins were redeemed (Hebrews 9:23-28). Sin is why humanity needs redemption through Jesus.
Two eternal places
The Bible also tells us that this earth will be destroyed (Isaiah. 51:6, Isaiah. 65:17, Matthew. 24:35, 2 Peter. 3:7-13, Revelation. 21:1), it means that we cannot have sin forever and we as humanity will not always be here.
There are only two places where we can dwell for eternity, heaven and the lake of fire. If the sinner is redeemed here on earth through the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:11-12) he will have entrance into heaven otherwise sin must be paid in the lake of fire (Apocalips is 19:20).
Jesus the redeemer
'In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace'. Ephesians 1:7 As this passage explains only thru Jesus we obtain redemption.
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:26-28. Jesus said it himself.
Why people go to the Lake of fire and why redemption through Jesus is necessary?
- Jesus said 'You do the deeds of your father'... 'You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. John. 8:39-47.
- 'He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.' John. 1:11.
- ' If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.' 1 John. 1:8.
- 'He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.' John. 3:18.
Why do we preached redemption through Jesus?
- 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.' John 3:16.
- 'So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household' Acts 16:31.
- 'For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,' Titus 2:11-12.
- 'for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.' Luke 19:10.
- Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.Becausea]" data-fn="#fen-NKJV-23331a">[ narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Luke 13:24.

‘Satan was not in heaven at that point and had no access. Also note that at the time of Job satan had access to heaven as the agent of temptation that he is and was used by God to PROVE Job, which it did’.

First I will address the main thing in your article that shows it is not to be believed, that I did not explain to you before
Your article CONTRADICTS ITSELF . You use one of my favorite scriptures to contradict your false belief so it caught my eye first. I am not interested in discrediting you but in seeing that you know truth and only teach truth which you do not. Any belief that causes two scriptures to disagree is of man and is not correct, scripture NEVER contradicts ANOTHER SCRIPTURE, if it does it is not the correct interpretation.
you said; "There are only two places where we can dwell for eternity, heaven and the Lake of fire. If the sinner is redeemed here on Earth through the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:11-12) he will have entrance into heaven otherwise sin must be paid in the Lake of fire (Apocalips is 19:20)."
But the very scripture that shows this to not be true, you use as an argument to say it is.
Matt 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
No one “lives” in the lake of fire. That is how God cleanses the earth this time, by fire, He destroys ALL the unrighteous in the lake of fire.
Now to these last two replies.
Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
You are assuming that redemption means forgiveness of sin, but that is not true, redemption means redeems the lost eternal life. Adam lost our eternal life and brought death to all man. Jesus died to give all man the opportunity to redeem their lost eternal life. His redemption is not redeeming anyone from sin, though it does erase the record of repented sin.
Adam brought death through his disobedience to God and Jesus DIED to give it back.
You and all that follow the teachings of apostate men MUST LEARN that you cannot just take a verse here and there and make it fit your doctrine, YOU HAVE TO ADJUST YOU BELIEF TO FIT SCRIPTURE.
Here is the full scripture you used, not an excerpt to fit your belief. Note that God spoke from heaven where He currently lives, until He moves his throne and residence down to the new earth after the righteous have inherited the earth and all unrighteousness has been removed, to live among His sons forever- eternity. (See Rev 22) Satan was not in heaven at that point and had no access. Also note that at the time of Job satan had access to heaven as the agent of temptation that he is and was used by God to PROVE Job, which it did..
Rev 12:9-11 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
You and ALL MEN that continue to use partial and out of context scripture to “prove” your false doctrines MUST LEARN that scripture NEVER contradicts another scripture.
But more importantly YOU MUST LEARN AND UNDERSTAND this scripture.
1 Cor 2:13-15 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Either you refuse to let the Holy Spirit teach you or you are not filled with the Holy Spirit. At any rate the result is the same, you are looking at scripture and teaching from your carnal mind and it is not truth because it is not of God. If you were following the Holy Spirit you would not be able to teach the fables (doctrines) of man that you do.
You can take this as It is meant as an opportunity to learn truth or not, your choice. Choose wisely, preferably by asking the Holy Spirit to show you truth and only truth.

"you re setting a future event Rev 12 3-4 before Genesis , can't be done"
Revelation 12:9 New King James Version (NKJV)
So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Key word serpent of old, if he is cast out in the future does it mean that there is sin in heaven?
Omar (author) from Chicago on November 05, 2017:
Again this verse says it clearly:
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace'. Ephesians 1:7.
"paid the price of redemption" you said it. he passes his payment onto us hrough the shed of his blood and yes we have to ask for forgiveness.
About the 1000 years is outside the scope of the article.
charlie from From Kingdom of God living on Planet earth in between the oceans on November 04, 2017:
I do not write what I think but what scripture says, not bibles but scripture. Ransom here is a poor translation the word means He paid the price of redemption. in other words He died to regain for us that will become disciples of Christ and do ALL He requires of His disciples, the eternal life that Adam forfeited by his disobedience which resulted in death for all mankind. If we accept His offer we can regain eternal life.
The 1000 yrs , you are looking for a literal 1000 yrs but this is a symbolic period of time .
you re setting a future event Rev 12 3-4 before Genesis , can't be done
If you can do that then I am wasting my time with you because that does not bring truth just more confusion like the rest of your article.
Omar (author) from Chicago on November 04, 2017:
On your first response you are really talking about the thousand years period described
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a[a] thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
On your second response I agree that we need to repent but you have to also destroy the very verse that I cited which you didn't do.
No the building is not the church we are the church but you went outside the scope on this comment.
1 Tim 2:5-6 what do you think ransom is?
charlie from From Kingdom of God living on Planet earth in between the oceans on November 04, 2017:
Most of what is you have said here is contrary to scripture.
“There are only two places where we can dwell for eternity, heaven and the Lake of fire. If the sinner is redeemed here on Earth through the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:11-12) he will have entrance into heaven otherwise sin must be paid in the Lake of fire (Apocalips is 19:20).”
There will be NO ONE LIVING IN HEAVEN, God bring His throne to the new earth and will Join His sons on the earth to live WITH THEM FOR ETERNITY TOGETHER. No one will live in the lake of fire all that go in the lake of fire ARE DESTROYED FOREVER DEAD, IT IS THE 2ND DEATH.
Matt 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction,
And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. 21 Now I saw Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
Rev 21:22-22:5 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. 22 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace'. Ephesians 1:7 As this passage explains only thru Jesus we obtain redemption.”
There is only one way for sin to be forgiven. REPENT Once you repent your sins are remitted, making it as if they never existed. But you must repent first.
Mark 1:15 The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."
Luke 13:2-3 and Jesus answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
JESUS DID NOT DIE FOR YOUR SINS, YOU MUST REPENT TO BE FORGIVEN , Even God cannot forgive un-repented sin. JESUS CAME TO BRING US LIFE. Adam brought DEATH TO ALL MEN, Jesus came to give all men the opportunity to regain that eternal life IF THEY become HIS disciples.
John 10:10 I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Wake up people and read the scriptures with the aid of the Holy Spirit, stop trusting in men and the corrupt bibles that they tell you are scripture. Here is what JESUS SAYS
Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Note that HE SAYS for you, each individual to do this, No where in the new covenant does it say go to “church”, take them to “church”, have the “pastor baptize”. All commands and directions from Christ says for you to do the work of the ministry (see Eph 4:12). There is no Building called a “church” in the new testament. There is no clergy, the Holy Spirit is HERE NOW to teach us all truth.
Only the sons of God, through Jesus Christ will inherit the earth and live on the new earth with God and Jesus His Son for eternity. All others will be destroyed in the lake of fire, the 2nd and final irrevocable death
Matt 20:25-28 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. 26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. 27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave — 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
1 Tim 2:5-6 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time
