The Falsehoods Within The Christian Church

If Any Man Preach Any Other Gospel

After the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, false teachings arose throughout the world and the Christian Church. Some derive from ignorance passed down by cultural traditions while others are deliberate lies told by men and women working with the devil to sway Christians from God.

How many falsehoods are there? Probably hundreds, definitely more than I can number or even fathom because any Biblical Scripture can be twisted to serve many worldly ambitions including political, financial and authoritarian objectives.

Since there are to many falsehoods to mention, I decided to write about the most prominent ones that exist throughout the world.

Sin Can Not Be Absolved by Man or Deed

Ever since Adam and Eve's fall in the Garden of Eden, man-kind has sinned and come short of God's glory and lived separated from spiritual fellowship with God. This separation or breech can not be fixed or mended by walking into a box and confessing our sins to an earthly priest who was born in sin just like everyone else.....Who Can Forgive Sin?

As the Christian Bible tells us in Mark 2:1-12, Only God can absolve sin. What about John 20:23 that says these words, "Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. This was a ordination of the twelve chosen disciples to oversee the Christian Church once it was established after the ascension of Christ. In other words, Christ gave the disciples then and now the right to forgive transgressions against the physical Church, not original sin or sin against God. (Mark 9:43)

I have shown above that only God can restore our fellowship with Him but can we perform any good deed that will move God to forgive us? Here is the Biblical answer.

Everyone should adhere to basic morals; we should be good to one another but helping the old lady across the street will not grant you favor with GOD or grant you Eternal Life.

The most powerful words ever spoken and/or written give us the answer. A man by the name of Nicodemus who was a Pharisee came to Jesus Christ and said these words, “Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.” Jesus responded with these powerful words, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Here is the darkness of night, Jesus Christ spoke the words that shook the foundation of the world, to reach the Kingdom of Heaven, one must repent of his or her sins and accept Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living GOD but how does one become Born Again?

Nicodemus hearing these words of Christ and perplexed, asked the following questions, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Jesus responded with these words, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Jesus responded with these words, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” The terms “Born of Water,” and “Born of Spirit” are phrases that mean the same thing but the former term would have been more enlightening to Nicodemus because throughout the old testament water was used as a instrument of purification; for example in Ezekiel 36:25 one finds these words, “I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.” Nicodemus being a Pharisee and a student of the Mosaic Law, would have clearly understood the term “Born of Water” as a reference to being cleansed.

The difference here is this, Christ was referring to being cleansed not by natural water but by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Water Baptism Does Not Make You Born Again

Some take Born of Water as a reference to Water Baptism in reference to being converted but the act of being Baptized does not absolve you of sin; it is simply and open testimony of your conversion. ( See 1st Peter 3:21)

The Process of Being Born Again

I would be negligent if I did not include in this article, how someone actually becomes "Born Again." All things in nature has a process; it is no different in the spiritual realm. The Christian Bible in Romans Chapter Ten teaches us that being Born Again or receiving Salvation is a personal thing; I am not a Christian because my parents are Christian; I am a Christian because the Word of GOD was preached unto me by a God called and sent Minister and the Holy Spirit spoke unto me and I accepted the invitation and then confessed by word of mouth that I believed Christ was crucified, buried and resurrected.

After Being Born Again

Many believe that being Born Again is the end of the road and there is nothing else to be accomplished but this is not true. While receiving Salvation from God grants you immediate access to God and Eternal Life, there is a period where spiritual growth must take place. This growth begins with Prayer, its important to talk to God, to ask questions, to ask for wisdom and if

necessary forgiveness if you stumble. Another part of spiritual growth is a life long event....Jesus said these words in Luke 9:23...“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” These are very important words for every Christian because you can not serve two masters.

The Sinful Path of Eternal Security

As I said above, a Christian can not serve two masters but there are some in the Christian world who teach a different doctrine. This falsehood is known as "Eternal Security," or "In Grace and Always in Grace." The scope of this teaching says that a Christian can live in sin and still be in fellowship with God but as you read above, a Christian's duty is to follow Christ to the best of his or her ability, yes we will make mistakes and have to repent along the way, but these mistakes are not perpetual failures, they are not willful sins, they are bumps in our journey where spiritual growth and maturity deepens.

Spiritual Growth in the Lord

Spiritual growth in the Lord can not be accomplished alone, we all need help. guidance from elders of the Church. To acquire this help, a Christian of any spiritual age must find a good Church where the Word of God is preached by God called men. I say Men here because there is another doctrine accepted by millions that does not line up with God's word.

I am Woman, Hear Me Preach

It is popular and becoming more widely accepted that women are allowed to preach the word of God. This is a major falsehood, In Mark 6:27, we find this scripture, “And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;” All twelve disciples were Men commissioned personally and spiritually by Christ to spread the word of Salvation.

While women have many duties within the Christian Church such as teaching younger women about life and duty to God and their husbands, preaching is not one of their God Given duties, Here are two basic reasons women are not allowed to expose the Word of God.

Preaching, witnessing or testifying are different. All Christians should adhere to speaking to none-Christians about Salvation. The House of God is structured like a natural marriage with the man being the leader and head of the family...in the Church a man is called to be pastor, bishop and teacher of the Word of God. (I Timothy 2:8-14)

The second reason women are not allowed to be ministers deals with the spiritual and natural qualifications of being a pastor or bishop. The Apostle Paul wrote in I Timothy 3:1-7 that a Christian Pastor must be the Husband of one wife and a good leader of his family. Common sense must be applied here, a Woman can not be the head of the natural household and a woman can not be a Husband. (Ephesians 5-22-31, Colossians 3:18-19)

Marriage and Divorce

As I wrote above, men and women have different duties within the Christian Church which parallels the natural union of a man and woman which is Marriage.

This union is a universal rule set in stone by God when he made Adam and Eve and within this natural structure the man is the head meaning, he is the bread winner and protector of the family and the woman is the keeper of the home. (Ephesians 5:21-33)

The Bible hear is explicit, the Husband and Wife are commanded to love one another and to remain faithful to each other. Unfortunately, so many Christians sway from these scriptures for many unlawful reasons such as adultery the marriage is then dissolved and to make matters even more worse, so many Christians believe divorce and remarriage is right under any condition but what does the Christian Bible say?

Christ said these words in Matthew 19: 9, "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.”

As you can see, getting a divorce because your wife burnt the toast or your husband did not take out the garbage are not Biblical reasons for divorce but fornication is a legit reason but what is "Fornication?" Fornication is different than Adultery and is defines as being a sexual union outside the framework of a marriage which includes pre-marital sex but here we are talking about the act of fornication within a marriage which means to commit fornication, the other participating individual must not be married.

As you can see, the world and the Christian Church are overloaded with doctrines contrary to Biblical teachings and the only way to cleanse these apostates is by informing people of these wrongs.

I conclude this article with these words written in the book of Revelation 22:18-19, 18. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.” 19. “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
