What's At The Core?

Are you a lover of Jesus? If you are, or you would like to learn more about Jesus, you will like this. I got interested in seeking deeper into divine truth when I heard a strange teaching from a prophet about an onion. He talked about how God has to peel off layers of our inner soul all the way to the core, like one would peel an onion. I began to do some deep thinking on that. I wanted to be saved all the way to the core because I had lots of dark stuff from my early raising that hindered my walk. I wanted to get my heart and soul right with God.

Many know that all we are. personality and emotions, comes from the core of our inner man and the values it lives by. Core values make up how we think and react to life. What hides in the core of our being is the foundation of our emotions and personality. Life has made us who we are. Our life foundations are so important.

The word reveals to us that God is a discoverer of foundations. God turns mountains over to the root. That means that he gets to the core of things. He gets to know our heart and soul all the way to the core. He does test hearts. God hates every false way and all that's impure has to be uncovered and uprooted. The old wounds of our early childhood will always cause dysfunction. God knows that these old wounds and infections will keep us from his best. It's a deep work. He loves us a father and He knows what hinders and hurts us. And only he knows how to fix it. As layer after layer is purged we will be healed, renewed and positioned where we belong.

The high calling is to live in what Jesus died for; so that we could be set free from all that's not of God. We seek and find freedom from any love of the lies of the destroyer, satan. Freedom from the worldly wisdom of men and from deceivers preaching a false gospel. Jesus died to save us from all that separates us from God. All that hinders love. Freedom from all sin consciousness. Sin is sovereign until we yield ourselves fully to the truths of how sovereign grace dethrones it. Jesus rendered sin powerless. It's because God sits on our heart's throne.

We can dig in to the new depth that can make us all new. I know that God loves me and he loves you.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The Lamb of God takes away the sin of the word, all who will receive him. As we're joined to him and his eternal truth nothing can separate us from his love and blessings.

We get set free and we love to tell others out story. Have you heard the old gospel hymn "Blessed Assurance"? It tells the story so well. "Perfect submission, all is at rest. I, in my savior, am happy and blessed" In perfect submission Holy Spirit does his purifying wonders in the deeps.

I hope this word recahes deep into heart and a victorious holy life of blessing is the result. May we never neglect such great salvation!
