Open Your 3rd Eye, Peer Into Your Dreams
A Glimpse Into the Future
Are you curious about peering into the future? Do you wish to master the ancient art of prognostication? Dreamwork is possibly the most relaxing from of divination out there. The experiences we encounter tend to be more intense than your typical tarot card reading. Tarot cards explore archetypes, whereas the dream world is more emotional and personal experience. Sometimes we tap into some very raw feelings while we are dreaming. A dream can be almost as powerful as a lived experience.
Dreams can provide us with insight on a variety of things. They tap into feelings we weren't conscious of. They show us information about complex situation. A dream is going to give you a lot more detailed information compared to other divinatory methods. Some of it can be very specific. You don't need to learn a whole system of symbols and commit them to memory in order to work with dreams. Other forms of divination require intense study. Developing dreams as a divination method is relaxing, lowers your stress level, and is good for your overall health.
When our problems keep chasing us we can explore some solutions in the realm of dreams. The human mind does not completely shut off when it is in dream mode. As we are sleeping we are healing and growing. Dreams are a beautiful state for human consciousness to be in.
Some people are born with an innate psychic ability. Prophetic dreams come easily to them. They anticipate changes because they are tuned in. There are ways of developing these skills if they don't seem to come quite so naturally to you.

Herbs for Prophetic Dreams
Herbs can help your dreamwork immensely. The fragrance uplifts and expands your sensory awareness. Inhaling the scent puts attune to the moment and shifts your consciousness. Worries which may inhibit your intuitive dissipate.
Herbs also contain vitamins and chemical constituents which assist the process. You can combine herbs, put them under your pillow, make a dream pillow or sachet, to name just a few uses.
Perhaps the most popular dream herb in the witching world. Much like Wormwood, which is used to make absinthe, Mugwort is in the Artemisia family. It has a mild hallucinatory effect, so I will not recommend consuming. Try putting in a dream pillow to induce prophetic dreams.
Rosemary is an herb which is safe to ingest as a tea or in your cooking. This makes it a convenient herb to work with. It is a dream herb which will give you clear and concise dream. Rosemary is known to help improve our memory. Perhaps you have been having prophetic dreams all along and just need something to help you remember them!
Lavender is a calming herb used in love spells and to alleviate anxiety. Diffuse the essential oil in your bedroom at night. This sweet smelling floral scent is a witch's staple. Governed by the planet of Mercury which is connected to the human mind.
Working With Crystals
Tumble can be purchased for a low price if you are just getting a tumble stone. Crystals are a beautiful prophetic aid to employ. You can place stones inside your pillow case, on your nightstand, between box spring and mattress, or use in meditation before sleep.
This beautiful purple stone is the ultimate dream crystal. Has been used for centuries to induce prophetic dreams.
Royal blue with gold flecks. This stone is good for doing past life work. It is connected to the 3rd eye and throat chakra.
This cloudy, white crystal is connected to the crown chakra. It links you to the divine. With it's high vibrational frequency it protects you from nightmares and negative energy.
Amethyst Can Be Used to Induce Prophetic Dreams
Get Into the Habit of Using Your Intuition
Becoming an intuitive person requires being receptive to the flow. Intuition can be about being a good listener and knowing how to read the signs of the times.
Get into the habit of noticing synchronicities. Keep track of stray information which floats into your mind. Analyze songs which stick in your head. Pay attention to memories which keep surfacing. Practice creative visualization. Get into a relaxed state and imagine yourself meeting a guide. See if intuitive advice follows.
Meditation, Napping, Breathwork, and Relaxation
Getting into the dream state more frequently can improve your skills at deciphering things. Make sure you are well rested. Try laying down on a yoga mat. Focus on your breath. When we are meditating we get into this state where we are between sleep and consciousness. It helps to frequently relax the mind making it receptive to the clairvoyant state.

Lydia Workman (author) from Canada on February 19, 2021:
Thank you, Mr. Happy. I am familiar with the tea in the link and I am glad you brought that one up. It is one that I have used in my own dreamwork. It was effective.
Mr. Happy from Toronto, Canada on February 19, 2021:
I will add one herb to your list: sweet gale. And here is the tea: https://algonquintea.com/product/lucid-dream/
Regarding worm-wood, my ancestors have used it as First Nation people use white buffalo sage in North America, for smudging. It can also be put in tea but it is pretty bitter.
Good article. It may help many people, including those who are on the path of a Seer.
I appreciate your piece of writing. May the Gods watch over You in a good way.
