Waxing Moon Phase and Using It During Your Lunar Cycles

Waxing Moon Phase

A Time for Action

The moon is growing when it's waxing. It's a great time to find that motivation you had when you set your intentions, and plant the seeds you have been eager to start.

This phase can be referred to as the "fuel-energy" because as the moon grows, its energy is increasing as well. As it grows, our hypothetical seeds grow (get it?)

It's time to clarify what it is you really want or need, and ignite your intentions. (Set intentions during the New Moon Phase, that article will be linked as soon as it's complete.)

You should know 100% what it is your desiring, and then you have to commit to it...but, the tricky part is, committing to it without worrying it won't happen.

We tend to do that by blocking the energy with more infiltrating energy.

Does that make any sense? Lol. I want to be sure I'm explaining it easily, because moon phases can be confusing.

One way to initiate those things can be by assessing your current goals, or creating some if you don't have any. That sets it down in the flow of things, it makes it real... and not just a thought inside your head.

Make sure you write it down, sign and date it. I promise it's the small things that can make a gigantic difference.

This is a great time to nurture your passions, or be creative with your specific intent.

Try to give your present obstacles or setbacks another go, if possible. This is also a good time where you can use the growing intensity of energy to your benefit, however, be careful that you don't come across as a know-it-all, or as extremely cold and arrogant.

There are a few "mini-phases" within the general Waxing Moon Phase. I listed the correlating tarot cards beside them.

Waxing Crescent Moon (High Priestess)

First Quarter Moon (The Magician)

Waxing Gibbous Moon (Wheel of Fortune)
