My dream is to become a G.P (doctor), and help people in need. I told my parents about it and they are very happy to know about my aim in life, but they reminded me that I will have to go through many stages of learning and experimenting the human body and may see very unpleasant things. But I know if I achieve that successfully, I will have a brighter future. To fulfil my dream, I know I will have to work extremely hard. I need to achieve good marks in English, Maths and most importantly, Science. These three subjects are important to become a doctor but I need to focus mostly on science since science is the main criteria for a GP and the reason why English is needed is because I need to also consult my patients to make them understand what problems they have and to have a positive attitude. Following is a list of things I need to have to become a doctor:•A strong desire to become a medical doctor.•Be prepared to do formal studies of 6 years or longer.•Must have Love and respect for human beings (patients and their relatives).•Have respect for life.•A keen interest in the structure and functioning of the human body.•The ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.•The ability to work for long hours continuously. If my dream of a doctor doesn’t work out, I have two backup plans, and they are either being a lawyer or a teacher.By Probha

Deeevilicious, thanks for your comment. A gentle stream of water represents peace and serenity. Water is often a symbol of purity and renewal. Could it mean that hard troubles have come and gone? Possibly. Water is often connected to our emotions. If the waters were rough, possibly murky, this could suggest that you have a lot going on in your life at this time, perhaps the past. The house in your dream could be the actual symbol of your dream rather then the water. House dreams represent nearly every aspect of ourselves. You would have to analyze both for a correct interpretation. Thanks for sharing.

I had a strange dream. I opened the front door to my mother's house, which i don't live in anymore, but i could see a stream of water approaching so i rushed to close the front door and i still got water in the house but not a lot. What is strange is that after the stream passed that was it, as if it were only a car passing by my house... what can this mean?

I never dream about water. My husband dreams all the time and a couple nights ago he was yelling in his sleep. I woke him the best I could and said what are you dreaming about. He said he was dreaming about potatoes falling off a conveyor belt and he was trying to stop them. He works on a farm. Voted up on your hub.

I sometimes dream about the ocean, and the analysis you have noted here is spot on. I think the times I dream of the ocean depths are when I feel as though I don’t have enough control over my life. Fascinating hub! :-)

Thank you all for your comments, votes, time, and everything else. KJ, great point and you are right. Water is the most powerful element. Tammy, the rough water is a sign of both trying times in your life. I truly believe dreams have meaning and if we learn, they can be a sign of what is to come. Dgh and Nell, thank you both for the share of course and your interpretation Nell. LOL You are probably right!

I never really thought about dreams that involved water, so this was fascinating, I do dream about the beach a lot and looking out to sea, but I think that's because I want to live by the ocean! lol!

I LOVE this series. I see I have lots of reading to do on your page. I have the strangest dreams about water. When I am stressed I dream I am at a turbulent ocean. I have lost two people in my life and days before each of them died, I dreamed about walking upon a drowing victim laying face down in a lake. Dreams are amazing and I look forward to reading each of your hubs.
