Over three decades ago I become interested in the Bible, having drank from the heavenly cup once, I have not been tired to drink more
In the previous article, I have started to share some of the things that we need to do to put to use the dimmed lights we have seen when we are passing through situations that we do not expect to find ourselves in
How to Use Some of the Dimmed Lights Seen Continues
Some people especially believers in the part of the world to which the writer of this article hails from have found it extremely hard if not near impossible to explore the dimmed lights they are seeing and making good use of them.
6. Go to Solitary Place:
Sometimes when we find ourselves in such situations and the lights we are seeing is not bright enough as to see us through such situation, we can do as prophet Elijah did, resorting to a solitary place to meet with our God and Lord. (1 King 19) The solitary place of some people may the closet of their rooms, and there they will lock themselves in to speak to God.
7. Be Prayerful:
When we find ourselves in positions we do not want, during this time, we need to pray the more, because prayers of faith change things. (Jam. 5:15) We can learn from the story Jesus shared with the disciples on the need to pray without fainting. (Luke 18:1-7a) The widow though was not answered by the Judge, but she never relented in going to the judge to present her case to the judge. Months or years after this, the judge decides to answer the woman.
“And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
“Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” (Luk. 18:4-5)

8. Move Away from Distractors and Distractions:
Move away from people who are neither seeing what you are seeing nor share your beliefs and dreams. There is a story of a blind man recorded in the gospels, the author of the Gospel according the saint Mark tells us that the name of the man was Bartimaeus, this man on hearing of Jesus shouted for assistance but there were people including the disciples of Christ who were shouting him down. On noticing those who did not share his dreams of regaining his sights nor seeing what he was spiritually seeing, he moved off them to shout the more for assistance and was delivered. (Mar. 10:46-52)
9. Do Not Fight Anyone:
One of the weapons the devil uses to arrest and delay answers to our prayers is fighting. We have seen people who after prayers started fighting with their spouses, children, and all that. Thence the promises of God for them would elude them because they have grieved the Holy Ghost. (Eph. 4:28-30)
10. Explore and Use Any Presenting Opportunity:
It is being said that sometimes opportunity comes but only once. There are instances when we are passing through some situations that opportunity for freedom would present itself once. Consider the case of Samson shared above, assuming he was waiting for other times and moments, he may die in that position. Another example that I want us to see is the case of Joseph, when he was in the prison, he explored and use the presenting opportunity and that happens to be the only opportunity that eventually saved him. (Gen. 40:1-15)
The dimmed lights seen would grow if we do not give in nor grow weary. God knows what we are passing through, he knows we have only seen the minute lights and he has created us for this purpose, to explore these dimmed lights and show that he is the controller of the whole universe, he wants us fulfill destiny, he wants it well with us in all ramifications, therefore, always hang on to him and his promises for he will never fail his own people.

I agree that hanging on to God's promises is the best way to live. We should pray about everything. I enjoyed this article and think it gives us another good message, Glusegun. Thank you for writing it.
