Reversing the Order of Events
In my earlier articles on this subject of Unlocking the Order of Events in the Book of Revelation, I explained how the parables used by Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew reverses the order of events regarding the Seven Seal, the Seven Trumpets and the Seven Bowls in the Book of Revelation. Further, in part 4 of this series, I explained that events in Revelation Chapters 12 through 20:9 (NKJV) will happen first and Revelation Chapter 6 through 11 will happen last.
Now, using the same reverse process I will explain further the order of events in Revelation that is just as important to those I wrote about in part 4 of this series. Buy doing so. it will provide further evidence that I am correct about the parables Jesus used in the Gospel of Matthew with regards to the First will be Last and the Last; First.. This Fist and Last concept was so important to Jesus that He mentioned it in the following verses.
Matthew 19: 30
Matthew 20: 16
And also note worthy is Mark 9:35. if understood in the correct context. And keeping in mind the Kingdom of God concept. Which is the final goal in the Book of Revelation.
Dividing Revelation into Two Parts.
Just like the bible is divided into two parts, so is the Book of Revelation. We have the Old and the New Testament. In the Old Testament we know the Old Covenant was given to the Nation of Israel. In the New Testament we have the New Covenant given to ALL who come to the belief and faith in God and our Lord Jesus Christ. In the same manner the bible is divided into two parts, so is endtime prophesy as revealed in Revelation. Endtime events will happen to the Nation of Israel as described in Revelation Chapter 6 through 11. And endtime events will happen to ALL those who believe and have faith in Jesus Christ as described in Revelation Chapter 12 through 20:6
This is the dividing point of Revelation. Therefore the Seven Seals and Seven Trumpets are endtime events that will be witnessed by the Nation of Israel and those who exist at that time. This will be the time of Gog and Magog as mentioned in Revelation 20: 8. and Ezekiel 38:2, which both ARE the same event. And completely seperate from this we have the Seven Bowls which applies to all those who believe and have faith in God and our Lord Jesus Christ who exist in this age. The Seven Bowls will occure first in the future at Christ's second coming. This applies to all of those who now and have been (living and die in Christ) in the Kingdom of Heaven. Note, Revelation 12 through 20:6 has NOTHING to do with the the Nation of Israel of the Old Testament. Those of Israel who existed during the Old Testament will witness the Seven Seals and Seven Trumpets.
The First and Last of GoG and Magog.
As stated before, the events described in the Seven Bowls will occure first. This means that everything from Revelation Chapter 12 through 20:6 will happen first if we use the First will be Last and the Last, First concept the Jesus revealed in His parables. Which means that the Nation of Israel Old Tesament has no part in Revelation 12 through 20:6. (or the Seven Bowls). However, they have a large part to play when it comes to Revelation 20:5 and Revelation 20:7-10.
Revelation 20:5 (NKJV) states: But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
In this verse I just quote regarding the; "Rest of the dead did not live again" is ´referring to the resurrection of the Nation of Israel of the Old Testament who God will then establish them as a Kingdom again. This is where Ezekiel Chapter 37 comes into play when the Nation of Israel of the Old Testament will be resurrected and brought back to the land of Israel as a Kingdom. However, we see in Revelation 20:7 and 8 (NKJV which States) 7 Now when the thousand years has expired, Satan will be released from his prison. 8 and he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
Here we have what is described in the entire chapter of Ezekiel 38 and Revelation Chapter 7 through 11 which is the Seven Trumpets. But notice it occures long after after the Seven Bowls has been completed. In other words Revelation 20:5 and Revelation 20:7-8 is a very very brief description of Ezekiel Chapters 37 (resurrection), 38, 39 ( Gog and Magog) and Revelation Chapter 6 through 11 which will occure LAST.
The First and Last of the 144,000.
Many who teach on endtime prophesy will have us believe the 144,000 spoken of in Revelation Chapter 7 is the same 144,000 spoken of in Revelation 14. This is not true. These are two seperate groups. The 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 14 are Saint whom are already with Jesus Christ. They were already sealed on their foreheads. Which is another way of saying they were sealed with the Holy Spirit. In order to understand how this could be then it must be understood that Revelation 12 and 13 and has already happened. We are now in the age where the beast with two horn like a lamb and spoke like a dragon as noted in Revelation 13:11 is already in play. Which means this happening now. FIRST.
If we use the first will be last and the last, first concept or rule, then the 144,000 from the twelve tribes of the children of Israel of the Old Testament does not yet exist.. And why is that? Because the twelve tribes of the children of Israel have not yet been resurrected yet and made into a Kingdom. As I had explained earlier regarding Revelation 20:5 and Revelation 20:7-8. So, this group of 144,000 will be LAST
Based on all that I have stated so far it is clear (to me at least) that there are two groups that will total 288,000 saints who will be sealed when all is said and done.
I hope this article bring further insight for those who are and will study the Book of Revelation and the parables of the Kingdom as mention by Jesus Christ. The is more information to bring forward on this subtect that I will get to in part 6 of this series. For those who have not read parts 1 through 4, I recommend that you review them so that you may understand how I arrived at this understanding of the order of events of endtime prophesy.

I believe I have provided enough proof in this 5 part series using scriptures that show I am correct in the understanding of the order of events of endtime prophesy is right. However, I am still working on part 6 to show even more evidence that I am correct. There are Books with the Old Testament that apply to Revelation chapters 8 through 11. I welcome any comments.

It's not hard to understand endtime prophesy once you read this 5 part series of these articles. Once it's understood the parables I've mention by Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew it becauses cause of everything I have writen in this series to this point. Further, The are Old Testament books that also apply to the reverse order that I just stared toughing upon in this part 5. In my next article (part 6) I plan to mention more books in the Old Testament that will support the reverse order in the Book of Revelation. Looking forward to any comment you may have on this subject.
KC McGee (author) from Where I belong on March 17, 2021:
Just for information, when you read all 5 parts then it it make more sense. However, part 2 and 3 explains why and how the reverse order of events come about within the Book of Revelations as drawn from the parable Jesus spoken of in the gospel of Matthew.. I hope those interested in this subject will take the time to read all 5 part. I will start working on part 6 in the coming days that will cover the Old Testament prophesy and how reverse order applies to them also as it ties into the Book of Revelation.
