Over 20 years of study of the Book of Revelation has opened my eyes to the order of events in the Book of Revelation
Kingdom key parables dividing Revelation into two parts.
If you have not read part 1, 2 and 3 of this series it will be difficult to understand part 4. So I would encourage you to review them before you go any further. By doing so, it will allow you to understand how the kingdom of heaven parables located in the Book of Matthew are directly related to end time prophesy found in the Book of Revelation. The two parables are part of what is commonly known as the Olivet Prophesy located in Matthew chapters 24 and 25. These two key parables unlock the two main parts of the Book of Revelation. These two main parts cover Revelation Chapter 6 through 11 and Revelation chapters 12 through 20:9. Within these chapters of Revelation we have what are known as the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets and Seven Bowls.
Most Theologains and endtime clargy believe and teach that the order of events described in the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets and Seven Bowls are in the order in which they are mentioned. However, there is clear evidence found in parables noted in the Book of Matthew that reveal a completely different order of events. These parables discribe what the Kingdom of heaven is like and reveals the correct order of prophesy within the Kingdom of heaven.
It makes you wonder.
In Revelation 11:7 NKJV it states: 7 "When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them".
In this verse it reveals a beast coming out of the bottomless pit, make war with the two witnesses and kills them.So it make me wonder, how did this beast end up in the bottomless pit in the first place. Nothing before verse 7 explains when or how this beast ended up in the bottomless pit. And then another verse that make me wonder.
Revelation 9:11 NKJV states: 9 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon". So, here the question, how did this King who is the angel of the bottomless pit end up in the same pit as the beast described in Revelation 11:9. And why are they both in the bottomless pit?
Then we have another verse that make you wonder. Revelation 9:1-2 NKJV it states: 1 "Then the fifth angel sounded; And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit" This fallen angel was given the key to the bottomless pit which held the King of the bottomless pit and the beast so he could release them. It make you wonder; Why were they released?
Note, that this is all happening during the time frame of the Seven Trumpets.
Answers to the wonder.
While reading keep in mind reverse order of events. In doing so it answers all the questions and wonders stated above. Now we look at Revelation17:8 NKJV which states: 7 "The beast that you saw was, and is not and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and will go into perdition". This is where the beast came from as noted in in Revelation 11:7
Now let look at Revelation 17:10 NKJV which states 7 " There are also seven kings, Five have fallen , one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue for a short time". The king who has not yet come and must continue for a short time is the one described in Revelation 9:11. It is the king described as the angel of the bottomless pit.
So, how did the beast in Revelation 11:7 end up in the bottomless pit in the first place? Well, here's the answer. Revelation 20:1-3 NKJV whic states 2 " Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain was in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and satan, and bound him for a thousand; 3 and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up,and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while".
Note someting very important here. It explains that Satan must be released for a little while. Also note that in Revelation 17 where it's talking about a king who has not yet come and when he does he must continue a short time. Just as Satan is released for a short while. And it should be stated clearly, Satan in Revelation 20:2 is the beast revealed in Revelation 11:7
In case you missed it, in Revelation 20:1 it reveals an angel coming down from heaven with a key to the bottomless pit to seal Satan in. Then Revelation 9:1 tells us of a star fallen from heaven with a key to the bottomless pit to open it. And then Revelation 11:7 reveal a beast ascending out of the bottomless pit.
Note , this is all happening during the Seven Bowls.
The first shall be last and the last first.
Many who teach on the subject of endtime prophesy will tell us the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets and Seven Bowls in Revelation are in the correct order of events. But if in fact the Seven Bowls are first in the order of events followed by the Seven Seal and Seven Trumpts, then every thing I have described above makes perfect sense. And the parables I've mentioned in the Book of Matthew which reveal the first will be last and the last, first is clearly referring to future prophesy. The first Kingdom key parable mentioned in Matthew 25:14-30 fits perfectly into Revelation chapters 12 through 20:9 and the second Kingdom key parable mentioned in Matthew 25:1-13 fits into Revelation chapter 6 through the end of chapter 11. The two Kingdom parable keys allows us to use the first will be last and the last, first rule. So, here is what it looks like when broken down in verses I already mentioned so far. (Note this apply throughout the Book of Revelation)
First the Seven Bowls, Revelation 17:8 (beast will ascend out of the bottomless pit)
Revelation 20:2 (Satan is thrown into the bottomless pit)
Last Seven Trumpts, Revelation 11: 7 (The beast ascends out of the bottomless pit and make war with the two witnesses)
First Seven Bowls. Revelation 17:10 (the Seventh king who has yet to come., and when he comes , must continue a short time)
Last Seven Trumpets, Revelation 9:11 (they had a king over them, angel of the bottomless pit.
First Seven Bowls, Revelation 20:1 (an angel coming down with the key to the bottomless pit, throw Satan in and sealed it)
Last Seven Trumpts; Revelation 9:1 (a star fallen from heaven with the key to open the bottomless pit and releases the beast).
If you follow the Kingdom parables that I laid out in part 2 and 3 of this series then it will helps to understand everything I have explained up to this point. Therefore as you can see everything everything revealed to this point is proven through scriptures I have quote.
So much more to reveal.
If you apply this rule of reverse order of events in the book of Revelation you will discover that understanding Revelation becomes much easier. But so far I have only talked about how the kingdom key parables lay out the order of events in prophesy. And I have not yet mentioned the prophesy in the Book of Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and others. These books also explain how events will unfold in Revelation. I hope to get to these books and cover them in detail at some point in this series. In my next article in this series I will explain what is the Kingdom of heaven and when did it come in part 5 of this series.
Many blessings to all

I believe there is enough evidence that I have laid out in this four part series (so far) that reinforces my understanding of the order of events in Revelation based on key parables in the Book of Matthew which I have quoted throughout this series. I welcome any comment or opinions on this subject.

This Discover Hubpage is got everything screwy. How are we suppose to comment on any articles the way it's set up now. This is a goat rope.

Thank you for your comment. Revelation is one of the most important Books in the bible to study. I have spent thousands of hours studying Revelation along with many other books of the bible. I'm sure you are already well aware that it takes much study in other books in the bible to get an understanding of the Book of Revelation. I hope my articles have helped, at least in part, in understanding the keys that unlock the order of events in Revelation. I'm glad you have taken an interest on this subject.
I do hope you have the chance. if you haven't already, to read parts 1,2 and 3 of this series. It explains how I arrived at part 4.
Again, thank you very much for your comment.
Many blessings to you.

Good study KC McGee,
I always enjoy reading articles of people who dig deep into the scriptures.
Looking forward to reading more on this. It is a subject that I personally need to dig into more! I enjoyed reading it, and I think you made some good points about the order of events.

Something I forgot to mention in my last comment to you..........you are most welcome.
KC McGee (author) from Where I belong on October 26, 2020:
Thank you every much for your comment. I had only mention a few of the " It makes you wonder" verses. But there are many more in revelation that I didn't mention yet that if the reverse rule is used, then it answers many more things I had wondered about in the past. For one more example the 144,000 in Revelation 14 and the 144,000 in Revelation 7 are not the same group.
One other thing I will mention. Jesus Christ said to his disciple (speaking of the kingdom parables) in Matthew 13:11 which states: 11 He answered them and said; " Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given". He then goes on to mention 7 kingdom of heaven parables just in Chapter 13 alone. It goes to show us all how important it is to understand His parables.
Many blessing to you Eric.
