You can not walk on a long distance with heavy loads in bags!

You can not walk on the path of faith with sins in your heart. Sin is a big brake which slows you down on your way. It burdens the soul. The soul becomes heavier and falls like a stone on the bottom of the sea, deeper and deeper. Imagine that your soul is a tree of life. If you take care of a tree, it grows and gives yield. Otherwise, it decays and doesn't make any yield. Your behavior is a reflection of your soul. The spirit must be lightweight to be able to fly, to soar into the sky like a bird. Over the time, we get used to the sin and the soul decays. If we don't heal our soul from the sin, it dies. It is easy to commit the sin, but to admit committed sin is a little harder.

Confession of sins

I'm sure there are still those who wonder why we need to confess our sins to priests. Priests are descended from the 12 apostles. God have given them the ability to forgive sins. Some have asked me: „why should we confess our sins to a priest and not only to God in a prayer?“ The answer is very simple. Because they have the power of forgiveness and the rest of us don't have that power. In addition they have the knowledge and above them is the Holy Spirit who can clean the soul from sin.

They've also asked me: „Do priests commit sins?“ Yes, they make mistakes because they are humans. But they confess their sins to other priests. In the confession of sin, it is only important that you really come to the church begging for forgiveness from God. No one is obliged to confess, but then his sins will be retained. If you commit sin against your brother, friend or insult him would you go immediately to him ask for forgiveness after your conscience warn you that you committed sin, or you would prompt for forgiveness through your thoughts? If that friend means something to you, you will go to his house and ask for his forgiveness. And your brother will be happy and he will forgive you if you sincerely repent. It's the same with the arrival in our Father's home. It should be the same act. Let's go to the Lord's house - Church to ask forgiveness of sins through his visible assistants. He is looking forward, looking forward to our arrival, our apology.

The Ten Commandments

Always remember that The first three commandments are related primarily to the love toward God, and the other seven on man.

1. “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

2.“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

3. “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

4. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

5. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

6. “You shall not murder.

7. “You shall not commit adultery.

8. “You shall not steal.

9. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.”

The meaning of Ten Commandments

1.“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

The Lord reminds us that He is our Father. He reminds us that he delivered us from the land of slaves and gave us freedom. Egypt is a symbol of slave country and freedom represents departure from Egypt. The Lord delivered us from shackles.

2. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

The Lord reminds us and teaches us that we shouldn't worship things or anything else he has created. There is only one creator who has created everything. We can admire to the Sun and Moon only as his masterpiece and only the Lord should be celebrated like the King who has created it all.

3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

The Lord wants from us to respect his name. It is so simple.

We were created to work hard and to fight for our bread in our life. The Lord created the six days for hard work, and the one day was created for a break from work only because of one thing and that thing is to celebrate the name of the Lord and to thank him for everything.

5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

If you honor your father and mother, your life will be full of joy. Your parents will always guide and protect you no matter what.

6. “You shall not murder.

Murder is the worst thing you can do. Apart from the physical murder you can kill person with your harsh words that are sometimes worse then very act of murder. Remember that you have no right to kill yourself nor others. You have no right to take away anyone's life, because in each of us live the Holy Spirit and therefore the murder of a man is murder of the Holy Spirit that is present in us and it is the greatest sin of all of these.

7. “You shall not commit adultery.

Never make adultery, because it is an act against love and love is sacred.

8. “You shall not steal.

If you steal something from someone (like money) that would be damned, because it is not gained by your hand and your work.

9. "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

"Thou shalt not bear false witness," is the most important value in society. Always tell the truth, because the truth will set you free. Maybe you'll be mocked for the sake of truth, but you will always be a free man.

10. “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.”

The desire for something (material things) which will not make you happy in the long term is the desire which leads you to destruction and failure! Do not let the devil masters your thoughts and deeds. Respect others, other's customs and everything else.

These are the commandments to be followed, but the most important two commandments are the commandments of love.
