The Lords Prayer One of Many of God's Prayers for Us

Todays Reading's from The One Year Bible

Today's readings come from Numbers 6:1-7:89, Mark 12: 38-13:13, Psalm 49:1-20 and Proverbs 10:27-28. Our men's focus centers around the Lord's blessing He gave to Moses we call the Benediction Prayer:

"May the Lord bless you and protect you.

"May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

" May the Lord show his favor and give you his peace."

The Lord further tells Moses.

Whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, I myself will bless them.

Rob's bible message today discusses this prayer

What is the Lord's Prayer Guys? Jesus's words for us.

From todays reading;

In Matthew 6 and Luke 11, there is a prayer that WE are to pray to God, that they call 'The Lords prayer.

I believe that THIS prayer, The Benediction Prayer in Numbers is;

It is what The Lord is praying over us, it is what is in The Lords heart for us, it is what The Lord bestows upon us.

We have our 'Saints of God' prayer...knowing that Hallowed be HIS name, us asking for HIS Protection & Provision.

Those are our words, coming from us to Him.

But this prayer is the incomparably powerful Word of God.

These are His promises for us and HIS eternal word, coming from HIM to us.

Meditate on the words of this prayer, as;

• He blesses us

• He protects us

• He smiles over us

• He is gracious to us

• He favors us

• Gives peace to us.

Let these Promises,

Let these Words,

Let these Desires

All of God,

Be the way we start each day.

Reminding us who we are.

Revealing our identity every morning.

That we are;

Cherished, empowered, protected and dearly loved.

I love you guys.

Being a part of the men's group is definitely a growing experience. I hope and pray that this group's growth and lessons shared may also help you grow in your relationship with God.
