The Lord's Prayer - Surprising Original Translation

Hey! What happened to my daily bread? Gives Our Daily Dam Bread!

Hey! What happened to my daily bread? Gives Our Daily Dam Bread!

The Original Lord's Prayer

Well. Well. It turns out the original wording and meaning of the Lord's prayer has been lost in translation. When this reporter learned of this he rushed out to get to the bottom of it. I found many versions and websites dedicated to this. I plagiarized...I mean quoted the best one I could find I'm typing as much original text as I can right now in order to get that pesky "hub-page-duplicate-filter" to turn off. While Ive got you here...after reading this hubpage you should really check out the eye opening material of Neville Goddard in my hubpages and online. He presents quite a new and amazing interpretation of biblical scripture that any who are interested in such things should definitely examine if they haven't heard on Neville Goddard and his "Law and the Promise" material before.

Here now for your enjoyment is the earliest version original Lord's prayer.

Unnnh! Raaaghh! Mmmmmmmm!

Unngh waaaab baaaaaaaaaaa!

(Man had not invented language at this point int time yet so its hard to tell the true meaning of this early caveman's prayer. ;o)

A few years later this version was discovered:

(Translation directly from ancient Aramaic to English instead of the most familiar translation from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English.)

O cosmic Birther, from whom the breath of life comes,

who fills all realms of sound, light and vibration.

Nethkâdasch schmach
May Your light be experienced in my utmost holiest.

Têtê malkuthach.
Your Heavenly Domain approaches.

Nehwê tzevjânach aikâna d'bwaschmâja af b'arha.
Let Your will come true in the universe (all that vibrates) just as on earth (that is material and dense).

Hawvlân lachma d'sûnkanân jaomâna.
Give us wisdom (understanding, assistance) for our daily need,

Waschboklân chaubên wachtahên aikâna daf chnân schwoken l'chaijabên.
detach the fetters of faults that bind us, (karma) like we let go the guilt of others.

Wela tachlân l'nesjuna
Let us not be lost in superficial things (materialism, common temptations),

Scroll to Continue

ela patzân min bischa.
but let us be freed from that what keeps us off from our true purpose.

Metol dilachie malkutha wahaila wateschbuchta l'ahlâm almîn.
From You comes the all-working will, the lively strength to act, the song that beautifies all and renews itself from age to age.

Sealed in trust, faith and truth. (I confirm with my entire being) Amen.

This reporter recently discovered that if you record the above prayer and then play it backwards at 78rpm you get the exact lyrics to Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven! Mind blowing!

More common versions from scripture:

MATTHEW (6:9-13)

Our Father, who (art) in the heavens

Sanctified (hallowed) be your name

Let come your kingdom

Let be done thy will

As in heaven, so upon the earth

Our bread, the needed, give us today

And forgive us our debts

As also we forgive our debtors

And lead not us into temptation

(Let us not enter into testing)

But deliver us from evil

Sanctified (hallowed) be your name

Let come your Kingdom

Our daily bread KEEP GIVING US today

And forgive us our SINS

As we also forgive everyone INDEBTED to us

And do not lead us to the test

Yet another one:

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yoursnow and forever.

It seems quite a bit of changes have occurred compared to the version I recited in school every morning. This apparently occurred when the original Greek texts were translated into Latin. I don't know anything about Latin but apparently the language has no or little "tense" distinction. So the phrase "thy will be being done" gets changed to "thy will be done" etc.

The point here is this. God exists in YOU The passage "Let Your will come true in the universe just as on earth " is an obvious "Law of Attraction" statement.

Why am I convinced the bible is not a secular history book but rather it is a sacred collection of divine events and guidance in the form of a play?

I've thought about this more since you "put me on the spot".

The main reason I believe this is true is because of the understanding that comes when I read scripture with this in mind.
Before I read the bible and it would say things like "all is possible to those who believe" "Believe in me and the kingdom of heaven is yours" "Your faith..." etc. I never really understood this because everybody believes right? Do you have to believe enough? or more than the other guy? Does your faith have to be stronger than it is now? I guess it must because I believe in God yet my life is still hell??? May other biblical passages would leave me saying to myself "...hunh?" Then there's all these chronological discrepancies. Science says the earth's been around for zillions of years....the bible...6000 years (I think). Why is Jesus always there but nobody can find him because...he's about his father's business...and he doesn't eat real food... Hunh? and what's with all this name changing... Saul becomes Paul. etc.
So what's going on?

Along comes this guy Neville Goddard. A man claiming to have experienced the birth of Christ from within. (I know I thought the same thing at first to.) Then he states that Jesus Christ is actually God in you...your consciousness... your imagination. After experiencing his vision he studied scripture with a passion as he discovered that it mirrored the visions happening within him. He takes you through various pieces of scripture and shows that the prophets were also describing the birth from above of God who "is dreaming" in you.

Now when I go back and read the bible...I say to myself again and again..."Oh. I get it. I know exactly what the writer of this bit is getting at. Its parabolical. Allegorical. A play."
Apparently we as man can enter any and all of the states personified by names in the bible. From Saul to Paul. From Adam to Satan.

God the father gives us a promise. That he will be reborn in all of us...after a little while...after suffering in the furnaces of affliction for His sake. He also gives us a Law. A law that may make our lives miraculously wonderful or a painful hell. Put simply. This law is what we today know as the law of attraction. Since God is your imagination, what you imagine and focus on is pretty much what you get in your life. Now we have agreed in some cases to incarnate into a painful life for God's he may experience it. Its hard to believe we actually chose to experience some of the evil things man's capable of...but its true...we do it happily.
(see my hub:

So when you read "Pray as if you have already received that which you pray for." it makes a great deal more sense. Use your imagination to feel what its like if your wish were fulfilled. Pray in the name of God (who tells us his name for all eternity is I AM). Say "I AM RICH!" "I AM HEALTHY!" "I AM LOVED!"

"Let the weak man say "I am strong!" - Author unknown (Job)

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. - Author unknown (Mathew)

Peter (in the state of Andrew...showing you who Jesus is.)

Still trying to get rid of that duplicate flag. Here's my own Lord's Prayer

Who sleeps within me.

I AM is thy name.

Thy will be done on earth as It is in our imagination.

Let us create all we need to survive and forgive us when we imagination others in undesired states as we forgive others when they imagine us in undesired states.

Help us to remember you are in us and help us get out of undesired states when we create them unwittingly.

For thine kingdom is within my heart. The power and glory of my life.

We live forever and ever.

A man.

Such a wonderful write … as I come to understand, there is the very essence of energy mass which is that mass referred to as the Holy Ghost. And it is that mass of pure Positive charged plasma which was formulated having plasma-bits abstracted from it’s Parenting Source of a Positive Charged Field of Plasma Energy bearing it’s own charged neurons constituting the network of a specific Divine Soul of Consciousness bearing no impurities of the negative electron sin/ions …

As it remains these ‘abstracted plasma bits’ of coded information that bears specific encrypted signature codes linking an individual with that specific Cosmic Consciousness of Positive Energy often referred to as the Positive Christ Consciousness (which has been imitated in cunning trickery by the negative satanic light consciousness) … nevertheless, it remains those bits of formulated and coded masses of pure plasma substance, which develops as a receiving and transmitting Positive neuron cell in network patterns of one’s brain, to not only govern an evolving process of both a soul of consciousness and thoughts of the mind .. BUT to also establish that needed attraction force necessary to pull an individual from this world into a specific reality-realm in colonies of the stars …

I've seen the Greek translation, but not this Aramic one. I've read much of Neville's works, am smiling as I read this as I was searching for the original meaning of "pray" and your post came up in the search results.

Thanks for doing all the spade work to bring us this. Good job.

davidisaiah from Klamath Falls, Oregon on June 29, 2010:

I thnk it is important to read as many traslations and interpretations of this seminal and basic of all prayer experiences. If this translation is close to the one Jesus taught his disciples to use, it is worth considering.

Thanks for presenting this.
