I have been studying and teaching Bible doctrine for over 48 years and the shepherding teacher for home based Churches. Sola Scriptura
The Absolute Sovereignty of God.
God is in Control
It was an extremely hard lesson Nebuchadnezzar had to learn: God Almighty was God and he was not. For seven years he lived and ate as an ox, but amazingly during this period, God maintained his kingdom and he as king. When his sanity and his throne were returned to him, he made one of strongest statements within scripture to the absolute sovereignty of God in Daniel 4:35. Both in heaven and on earth, God will do exactly what He desires all according to His will and no one can stop or even question Him. He does not care what we personally believe or for our opinion on any matter.
What does this have to do with our current world’s predicament? God is driving this world toward judgment and He is cleansing His Church, not churches. Fear is everywhere you turn and the churches of this world are not immune.
Come Out From Among
Churches Have Become a Haven of the Lost
Social media is rife with church goers clamoring for their churches to re-open as if they believe that God is against what we see today. If one believes that God is sovereign, then one would know that it is a part of God’s plan for His Church. His Church is not a building, denomination, or gathering; it is His ‘called out ones’ that are the real Church. For the real Church; Church is always in session – 24/7. If you replace the word ‘church’ within the scriptures with the actual meaning of the word – ecclesia – called out ones; the scriptures take on a whole new life for the believer.
Why do we see people so strongly desirous of the church buildings re-opening? Fear! What do they fear? The lack of the social aspect of their fellowships, seemingly addicted to needing a weekly fix to support the religious aspect of their lives. Misery loves company and so do converts, but disciples, a definite minority, need other believers. During this current lockdown of buildings, disciples all over the world have continued meeting for they know the need of being in the Word with other disciples. [Hebrews 10:24-25] Within many churches, the people live in fear of their eternal life and the reassurance from the powers that be that all is well. Little do they know that in the near future, being a church goer will mark one for a death sentence. Church buildings will either become puppets of the state, offices, housing for the homeless, dilapidated monuments to failure or razed. 2 Corinthians 6:17 – if God’s elect will not come out from among, He will drive them out. Remember, God chastises those He loves. [Hebrews 12:5-8]
A great many sitting, or at least wanting to sit within churches have received the promised delusion from God because they had no real love of the Truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12.
Fear of Everything But God is a Death Sentence.
Today the Fearful are Letting Themselves be Known.
As Proverbs 29:25 states; ‘the fear of man is a snare’ – it is a trap that drives men to do that which will end in disaster for their souls. As Matthew 10:28 encourages God’s own not to fear the threat of death, the world trembles in fear of death, as they should. When the day arrives and believing in God alone carries a death sentence, the world will flock to follow the coming Antichrist. The majority will willingly take the mark of the Beast and will seek his favor by reporting all who should not comply. The mark will become their eternal death sentence but the Word also tells us that there will be an uncountable number of martyrs for Christ. The world may act for the moment like they have no fear of God … but the day is coming when the fear of God will totally consume them.
May the true Church come out from among the world’s church system and live as if Christ could return at any moment.
