About The Key of Wisdom

Emerald Tablet 3 is about the Key of Wisdom. It is a magnificent piece of text. The major part of the Key of Wisdom is for most people quite well to understand. It speaks about things like wisdom is power, power is wisdom and that these two perfect eachother as a whole. Other parts speak about that silence is of great profit, and that fear is a bondage.

We know it is true. Most of us will understand it quite effortless. We've possibly heard it before. And yet, are we able to live it? How often do we catch ourselves judging or condemning others? Most of us do it all the time.

How often are you willing to do something for just a song? Or give away precious knowledge just for free? Regardless it's your enemy or friend? Or just to be when someone's continuously chattering, and just to listen attentively without ulterior thoughts?

As long as you're not willing to do these simple things these texts are nothing more than useless wallpaper or tiles wisdom. It's about living it, and meditation helps to apply that.

Wisdom is power and power is wisdom,

one with each other, perfecting the whole.

Be thou not proud, O man, in thy wisdom.

Discourse with the ignorant as well as the wise.

If one comes to thee full of knowledge,

listen and heed, for wisdom is all.

— Thoth

The Law

Thoth mentions often the Law, and says things like the Law is ALL. The Law Thoth speaks about is of course not the law of men. It is the universal Law, the law of the mathematical Universe.

The forces responsible for the phenomena, our physical world, is called the noumena. The noumena is the invisible perfect platonic realm.

The thing in itself. The real thing. The pure balanced mathematical world. Unprovable, untestable, and invisible.

Every action you take, every thought you think, every word you speak has effect on the invisible noumena. Because we are ultimately souls that interact and inter- fere with the noumena, we cannot understand it when we take actively part in it.

The wise men is silent, without action, and without thoughts. Only then you are able to grasp the pure logical noumena (intuitively), because your interaction with the noumena is no longer present.

Overstepping the Law is basically living your Ego instead of your True Self. Punishment as Thoth calls it is then assured. As the Ego often says: "why is this happening to me?". Because it probably was the boomerang effect of earlier, seemingly unrelated actions. The Ego mind lives in separation, and is unable to grasp anything beyond the material intellectual world.

Be in the world, but not of the world. Meditation is one of the main keys. And here introduces Thoth something new, something very powerful.

EIGHT, NINE are the titles of the Masters of men.

— Thoth

Three to Nine

The tablets are speaking of seven specific numbers three to nine. One and two are missing, and that has one distinct reason - one is a point and two is a line, and they cannot be depicted in two dimensions.

Imagining the colored polygons below during meditation while you concentrate on that specific chakra is an immense powerful exercise. One that "Opens the door to the Kingdom of Light."

I cannot give you an answer yet as to why it works like this. Maybe in the future.

Five Platonic Solids and Physical Universe

There seem to be connections between Plato and Thoth.

Plato spoke about Atlantis, and Plato also spoke about the fundamental building blocks of the universe, the five Platonic solids.

It seems that Plato was clearly onto something, although it seemed to be incomplete. Plato's building blocks are THREE, FOUR, and FIVE. The regular triangle, the square, and the regular pentagon. The three basic building blocks of the phenomena, the physical universe - matter.

SEVEN, EIGHT and NINE, are the building blocks of the noumena, the invisible universe - the mind. SIX, the heart can be regarded as the center of both the invisible and the visible universe, which is zero. That is what the Pythagorean Illuminati call the monad, and stands at the root of everything.

Meditate on the symbols I give thee.

Keys are they, though hidden from men.

Reach ever upward, O Soul of the morning.

Turn thy thoughts upward to Light and to Life.

Find in the keys of the numbers I bring thee,

light on the pathway from life unto life.

Seek ye with wisdom.

Turn thy thoughts inward.

Close not thy mind to the flower of Light.

Place in thy body a thought-formed picture.

Think of the numbers that lead thee to Life.

I provide here a .pdf version of the Emerald Tablets, which is in my opinion one of the best versions available. It is written in couplets so that the text becomes more readable.

Thank you, Rad. Best wishes to you.

Rad on March 21, 2017:

Thank you.

You helped me progress in my journey to discover the nature of my soul, by bringing to light ancient wisdom and making it accessible to enquiry and reflection.

Peace and love to you and yours.

Thanks Rodolfo Diniz, I am glad you found some answers.

Rodolfo Diniz on March 20, 2017:

Read two of your articles and WOW! You just blew my mind, and gave answers I was looking for forever!

Interesting view, Yoleen. Thanks for your comment. Hope to hear from you later.

Yoleen Lucas from Big Island of Hawaii on December 17, 2016:

I'll have to study this in more depth later. I do know Tantra deals with the Seven Chakras.

Interesting take on the world.

Thank you for your kind comment, Alicia. I'm glad you plan to read the tablets! It is recommended to read them about a hundred times! Each time it starts to resonate more and more with your inner guidance.

It's very tough to grasp some parts. I've wrote another quite popular article about the Halls of Amenti. You might want to read that one after you've read tablet 2. It contains some insights that might help getting through the text.

Thank you for your comment and very interesting interpretation, MizBejabbers. I can agree with your explanation, because it sounds plausible and logical to me. The tablets contain such an amazing amount of information that I can keep on writing about it endlessly.

Like you say, the monad is indeed "God", and is located at the heart center. That is to say your own God, your own divinity.

Linda Crampton from British Columbia, Canada on December 16, 2016:

This is very interesting, Buildreps. I've never heard of the Emerald Tablets before, but after reading your article I plan to explore them. They sound intriguing. Thanks for sharing the information.

Doris James MizBejabbers from Beautiful South on December 16, 2016:

I think I can give you an answer as to why 1 and 2 are missing, but only speaking metaphysically. Man’s science and math are just now beginning to catch up with the ancient knowledge that has always been on Earth, and that knowledge was recognized only by awakened souls. At one time in the days of Atlantis before precious knowledge was lost, this probably was defined mathematically. I notice that you said Plato “was on to something, but it was only partially complete.” In other words, he had not completely connected to Thoth, but Plato had made some discoveries of Atlantis.

Metaphysically speaking, of all the initiations of souls, the first two are so low in humans that they are not recognized in the upper dimensions (Building blocks 1 and 2). The book The Rays and the Initiations (published by Lucis Trust) defines “initiation” as “an expansion of consciousness, leading to revelation and illumination." Initiation is experienced by all forms of life, great and small.”

So when a hu-man can be defined as where he/she is on the ladder of initiation into the universe, the human was then and can now be mathematically defined. That is why your explanation is right on, and why it works. Notice that in your chart, as the chakras go upward through the crown, the numbers get larger. The explanation of the Monad is in the area of what the average human would call “God”. If you disagree with my explanation, please keep in mind that there are many schools of thought, most being fairly accurate, and that they use different terminology to describe the same thing. So any differences could be semantics.

I enjoyed this article immensely. Keep on keeping on enlightening human kind with your great articles.

I'm quite sure you understood the most important part of it, my friend. Thanks for your visit and your loyalty. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones as well. We, writers, will be working nevertheless!

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on December 16, 2016:

Fascinating stuff, my friend. I only grasped about 50% of it, but what I did understand was well-worth the read.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!
