The Twelve Zodiac Signs

There is a total of twelve zodiac signs in astrology. They are all based on star constellations which are visible only at night. The Babylons began astrology during the first millennium B.C. although certain zodiac constellations were originally discovered during the Bronze Age. Cancer along with Gemini is the oldest of all the star signs. Cancer is the fourth sign in the zodiac.

These star signs are also depicted with images that are representations of their qualities. Most of them are animals with the exception of Gemini, Virgo, and Libra.

The Cancer Woman

The Cancer zodiac sign is a water sign, just like Scorpio and Pisces. They are sentimental and also protective but the most loyal of all the zodiac signs. Cancer however is the most nurturing and feminine sign. The crab sign symbol is meant to resemble a sideways “69” to represent crab claws. Cancer birth dates typically fall from June 21 to July 22. Cancer is ruled by the moon, which has a symbol of its own. Cancer crabs are also known as moon maidens because their souls are as majestic and mysterious as the moon itself.

Just like a real crab, the cancer woman does have a tough hard exterior shell but inside she is soft and mushy, and romantic. She will almost always think with her heart and not her head. Cancers are also team players, optimistic, and are usually drawn to the light.

The Cancer Woman's Shell

Traditionally, a crab will carry a shell on its back to protect its warm and soft body, but also hid to feel safe. This is the same with a Cancer woman. Her shell is her home, which is her security and solace. A Cancer woman's home is her safe space to hide when the world around her becomes too chaotic and hectic. Her shell, or her home, is usually clean, organized, and very upbeat. A Cancer woman's home is very important and one of the highest priorities in her life, other than her family. When a Cancer woman's home is out of order, messy, and or dirty it can feel like the world is ending because this is the one space that a Cancer woman has to hide and retreat to. So if things aren't going right at home for a Cancer woman, the rest of her life will be affected until this first is fixed.

A Cancer woman is also a nurturer, therefore, will take care of whoever she lets into her shell with her. Not many will have this opportunity, but when it does happen and sometimes it does. It is a big deal!
