The Breath of Life and the Salvation Plan

Attending Bible school at age 17, it was expressed there is a need for modern day Christian writers. So I have accepted the challenge.

The Breath of Life

There are some who don't understand why we make God such an important part of our life and interest. I simply answer them; "who gives you the spirit of life? Do you think the lungs pump on their own , or that the heart throbs up and down on it's own?" You can gain the understanding of life and God by taking a body that life has fled from, and try to make it alive again. What? You can't negotiate their life past the normal doctor or EMT measures used to try and resuscitate. No one walks or breathes without God first breathing his breath into them. In fact, the heart cannot continue pumping once the spirit of life has gone out of that person. And dear person, friend? That leaves us at the point of realization that we are spiritual beings. Our spirit will one day leave this body and return to the creator, where he will re-home us and re-purpose us for his own desire as it were, to give us eternal life.

Earthly life and human existence is the staging point of our future. One by one, our creator calls us to fellowship with himself; he woos us through his divine and eternal love, to draw us to his wonderful salvation. He allows our life and our breath for these number of years and months in order for us to prepare to meet him. Anything else that we put above that cause, will interfere with his intention for us to one day transfer from this world to the next. Because of this, It's wise to read our Bible and pray and seek God. I pray that you will contemplate this and make any necessary changes to your life before it's too late. Eternity is forever, yet this portion of it runs by a daily clock, and there is an end date. That's why the word of God says "choose you this day whom you will serve!" Are you still breathing? Then thank God, it's not too late!

Salvation by Repentance, Baptism and Infilling of the Holy Spirit

There is One God and One Lord Jesus Christ: Jesus said the same spirit that dwells in me shall dwell in you. The Holy Spirit is Christ in you. It's the selfsame spirit according to scripture. How awesome that being baptized of the Holy Spirit, I have the same spirit of God that dwelt in the Savior. He told his disciples to "go, and tarry in the city of Jerusalem until they were filled with the Spirit from above". That was a great 10 days of them praying and tarrying together for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2-1-4 it tells us at a certain hour, there came the sound of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were, and there appeared to them cloven tongues like fire upon each of them, and they began to speak in other tongues as the spirit of God gave them utterance. Men and women outside heard the commotion and thought they were having a party, and yes they were, but it was a Holy Ghost party. It was supernatural in origin, and supernatural in nature.

It's right there in my bible, is it in yours? Peter declared that this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel, that in the Last days God would pour out his spirit upon all flesh. Then he began to preach a powerful message telling all the onlookers and villagers and travelers from abroad that they had by wicked hands crucified the righteous Christ/Savior of the world. and they, convicted in their hearts of sin, then asked in urgency "what must we do to be saved?" and Peter spoke to them in verse 37-40 "Repent of Your sins, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall be filled with the Holy Ghost". He didn't stop there but said, "for this promise is for you and for your children, and for all those afar off , even as many as the Lord our God shall call". There were 3 thousand souls saved that day by the work of the Gospel and it was the first mega-revival after Christ's return to Glory.

Hes also promised to come back and bring us as his bride to the marriage supper of the Lamb. By that time my friend, it will all be done in robes of righteousness, given us not by our own deeds, but by the redeeming power of the cross and the resurrection. What was started by John the Baptist, preaching "He is coming" had suddenly been dwarfed by an all out visitation of God into the newly formed church, and it was all by his word and by his power and by his shed blood on Golgotha Hill. That is a place where we know today his blood was shed once and for all, for the sins of all men, so that by repentance mankind could renounce sin and obtain a pure atonement of the soul.

But the word of God cautions us to keep ourselves un-spoiled from the world, and to keep our inner vessel clean; including being faithful as best we know how and always seeking the presence of God in our lives. He gives us gifts of his spirit that are ours as fruit that we bear, while also he appoints his angels to stand by us and keep us from the enemy. We are blessed of God and have no reason to fail, if we keep mindful of the Gospel, which is the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Eric Dierker, yes, thank you! Kayode Doyak - I mentioned re-home in the context of the choice that we make , whether to be saved or lost. Your scripture is a good reference for sure. I think the initial re- purposing happens when we surrender to the Lord and leave the life of sin. In both cases we are changed "in a moment in the the twinkling of an eye". Jesus said "I go away to prepare a place for you".

I like this and it is good to read.

Hey sir, perhaps about 5 paragraphs here and at least one capsule.
