The 3rd Character in the Yin and Yang
Yin Yang
The yinyang
Yin and Yang are two opposing but interconnected forces that hold different meanings for different people and cultures. Some view them as representing positive and negative, light and darkness, or male and female. The original color of Yin Yang is black and white, with a small circle of the opposite color in each half.
The white side of Yang represents positive, good, light, and peace, with a small portion of negative, evil, darkness, and non-peace. Conversely, the black side of Yin represents negative, evil, darkness, and non-peace, with a small portion of positive, good, light, and peace. The two sides coexist, with each containing a small portion of the other.
The concept of Yin Yang is something that we all know and understand, but few realize that there is a third, unknown side. This third side can be found in the middle and the outside of the Yin Yang. This unknown part of the Yin Yang represents the balance between light and darkness. In order for Yin and Yang to remain separate, they must be surrounded and blocked from one another, similar to a wall while a small portion of light and darkness remains in the other sections. This requires the presence of authority to maintain order and prevent the two sides from merging.
Neither Yin nor Yang fears the other, which means that good does not fear evil, and evil does not fear good. However, in the real world, good may fear evil to some extent due to its ruthless nature, while evil does not fear good because it knows that good shows mercy. Finally, the concept of dark/light represents a type of good that uses darkness and may not be accepted by all good or evil forces.

Dark/Light of the yinyang
The yin and yang are influential concepts in martial arts and in society at large, representing opposing forces that are interconnected. The yin embodies negative traits like arrogance, greed, and politics, while the yang embodies positive traits like peace, respect, and justice. Unfortunately, the martial arts world is often overrun with yin energy, which can be seen in everything from tournaments to dojos to organizations.
However, some individuals possess a balance of dark and light, allowing them to use negative traits like cockiness and arrogance as positive motivators. It's important to avoid displaying these traits publicly, and instead, channel them into internal motivation. Due to corruption in many martial arts tournaments, some instructors choose to hold in-school tournaments where outsiders are not allowed to compete, in order to maintain fairness and respect.
Today's World with Dark/Light
The concept of yin and yang is a useful tool for survival in difficult situations. It involves balancing positive and negative aspects to avoid unnecessary danger. For instance, in martial arts and everyday life, sacrifices are sometimes necessary, whether they are positive or negative. An example of this is stealing food to survive. While stealing is generally considered wrong, it may be necessary for survival in certain situations. It is important to use the yin and yang balance to avoid hurting others or damaging the environment.
People often take advantage of the weak and suffering in today's society for personal gain, as seen in martial arts, business, and home life. This competition falls under the yin category, and it can create trust issues and other problems. A true martial artist and a good person will use the yang or dark/light for positive gain and must have discipline and responsibility to do so effectively.
The Star Wars sequel trilogy explores the idea of balancing dark and light as Luke Skywalker becomes a Grey Jedi. Overall, the yin and yang concept is a powerful force that affects everything we do and how we live our lives.

Yinyang is awesome man. I think you are on to something big here. Like heaven and hell, there is a middle.

Thank you for your comment. I'm still studying the dark light theory. It is a study that can take years because of the universal aspect of dark light and the yinyang. Dark light can be found in every culture including the Native American culture.

This makes sense in a way that is hard to explain. For years I have wondered what earth represents because its in between heaven and hell. Dark/light is an interesting theory that lives in both dark and laight but represents good. I have notice dark/light in others.
