25 Bible Trivia Questions on Trees

From Genesis the first book, to Revelation the last book, trees are a part of the Bible landscape. God created them on the third day of creation week (Genesis 1:11-13), and when the old earth makes room the new in Revelation 22 verse 2, there is "the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month."

Many other interesting facts about Bible trees can be taught or recalled during participation in this quiz. Use it as an icebreaker in a young adult session, or as an introduction to a study on trees in the Bible. Have fun while you increase your knowledge. Repeat as often as you wish to refresh your memory.

Section One - The Parable of the Trees

The following six questions are based on The Parable of the Trees (Judges 9: 8-15 NKJV), beautifully written in poetry, which makes it stand our from the rest of the chapter.

Section Two: More Trees in Bible Poetry

Ten of the following questions are extracted from the Books of Job, Psalms and the Song of Solomon (also known as Song of Songs) which are mainly works of poetry.

Two are from the prophetic books of Isaiah and Jeremiah which also contain large poetry portions. The answers are found verbatim in at least three versions of the Bible.
