Orb of Holy Spirit captured in photos

I realize that that’s a very bold as well as controversial statement. But, I can’t think of any other explanation for the extremely bright, as well as moving orb image captured here; the night of the Western celebration of Easter 2012.

Easter Sunday for me had been a pleasant yet rather unexceptional day. Yes, I knew that a billion Christians celebrated the resurrection of the purported Jesus son of God. A powerful event by any measure.

As the Pope prayed for an end to a seemingly endless war in Somalia, and a billion or so Christians occupied churches and living rooms throughout the world; in a celebration of hope and renewal, I too felt a temporary lifting of a harsh, mental burden that had been self-imposed through the reading and watching of 24/7 internet generated news reports.

Without question, the power generated by the collective hope and prayers of a billion souls is immeasurable. One could feel it in the air; as the sun set in the western sky and fell into the Pacific Ocean; not too distant from the hills of Oregon Orb House.

I stepped onto the upper deck to snap a photo or two. At first there appeared to be no orb action. Taking a break, and after resetting my mental acceptance of the orbs appearing; I asked a question or two as to the story of Jesus arising from the dead. Did this truly happen, was the life of Jesus more than the “Greatest Story Ever Told?”

I hesitantly asked for a sign. The following photos you view here... is the answer to my questions.

Note: The extremely bright “White Light,” of the spirit orb pictured here. Most sources report that they believe an orb of this magnitude; to be that of a Guardian Angel or in this case? perhaps the Holy Spirit.

The multiple colored group shot, appeared in response to my asking as to how my past family members were doing? Was there a God in Heaven? Had the stories I’d been taught as a child been True? The Bright blue orb pictured, is believed to be a “Teacher,” or a Spirit Guide.

I've started a thread on the Catholic Answers forum entitled, "The Holy Spirit and the Supernatural Orb Explored" that I thought you might be interested in. Here's the link:

I've seen the holy spirit many times. The orb is the holy spirit.

The interpretation is yours. I have seen unnatural phenominon meaningful only to me. You should feel blessed.

Dear Planks and Nails.while I will allow you to share your perspective here, I will ask you to read the Hub... You will note that there is no evil here. I admitedly do not share your concern as to being mislead by what you reffer too as the Devil. As a daily news journalist( Examiner.Com) I'm well too familiar with the good and evil present in modern day society. Here on Hubpages,I'm focusing only on the good!. Thanks for the heads-up. Best wishes...

What a gift you received, the white light of the Holy Spirit , an angel, an orb, who's to say. What I do know is that your intentions are for the highest good of all. I'm very grateful to God and the universe for shedding such bright light onto you! Keep asking questions! This life is about the journey of learning and sharing our knowledge. Then it's up to individual interpretation. What an amazing adventure.

Sue Pratt from New Orleans on April 13, 2012:

Thanks for this beautiful hub. You are so gracious when so many offer explanations for what you genuinely believe are holy phenomenon. When I made the first orb photos, my daughter (the accountant with the analytical mind) called me to say: They're dust particles, Mom. Continue to be your gracious self and, like me, continue to believe whatever resonates and feels right to you. If the theory in metaphysics is true, that we do create our own reality, our reality is much more interesting and exciting than that of the skeptics. Continue to write and photograph, Parks. Your work is beautiful and meaningful.

parks McCants,

("The Bright blue Orb pictured, is believed to be a “Teacher,” or a Spirit Guide.")

No orb is that of the Holy Spirit. There are two sources of power that either come from God or Satan. Orbs are a demonic manifestation. It is no coincidence that the orb/orbs appeared during Easter as it is a celebration of worship to pagan gods. The veil between the natural and supernatural realms is the thinnest in certain geographical places of magick during this time.

The followers of Jesus Christ are to walk by faith and not by site. Orbs have also been appearing in the church for some time as the new-age philosophy has infiltrated it.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons - 1 Timothy 4:1

In some photographs the distorted out-of-focus images of tiny particles that are caught in the flash zone of the camera can appear as orbs in a picture when it is taken in a dusty, rainy, or snowy environment.

And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. - Revelation 12:9

“For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.” - Revelation 12:12

We are living in the times of increased signs and wonders; it is important not to be deceived by them. When and if they appear, resist them with all authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. - James 4:7

I suspect these "familiar" spirits manifest according to your ideology, but I would caution you to not partake in these paranormal deceptions of Satan that have enticed so many to draw off a counterfeit power; the all consuming power of Jesus Christ cuts through the wiles, and exposes for what it truly is.

Your thought provoking commentary is always welcome here. I've captured Orb images under all weather, as well as lighting conditions.I,like yourself, am a cautious skeptic.I've done The research, as well as substantiated the presence of Orbs; through the process of elimination.

I have several daylight Orb images captured without flash. I'll keep the dust theory in line. I would appreciate your follow.

Thaank you.

Physicshelp on April 12, 2012:

With the greatest sincerity, and wishing to take no validity away from your beliefs, I'd like to put a possible explanation for these orbs forward. It will only make sense though, depending on what sort of camera was used, and the weather conditions at the time. I've recently been learning about optics, and orbs have come up in my reading. I found one possible explanation that follows:

Orbs can be found in low light conditions, in which particles such as dust or rain are present. The orbs of light themselves are reflection phenomena from these particles. They gain a particularly impressive brightness and size if these particles are near the camera, i.e. the camera's flash is close to the lens, as the 3d world that we see is condensed down to 2 dimensions. However, if you are seeing these with your own eyes, and not simply from the images captured, I can't be so sure.

Parks McCants (author) from Eugene Oregon U.S.A. on April 12, 2012:

jennzie, I agree. Thank you!

markbennis. I do see flashes ( Orbs) from time to time. In this case? i did detect a flash, but the intensity of the image was verified by the photo. Thanks for your question.

Thank you bborello. I'm with you. I have captured images of faeries, and will share them here in the near future. This is a bit different, a timed event, in response to a question. Stay in touch I would appreciate your follow. Thank you all for your interest!

bborrello on April 12, 2012:

I wish to take nothing away from honoring Jesus. I have many pictures like this. I believe they are faeries. I also think you are just as blessed to have them show themselves to you as an angel might.

markbennis on April 12, 2012:

Wow! The images look really cool and intriguing to say the least, sorry to hear you had to spend that time away from your family, well I hope I got that bit right and sorry if didn’t?

So did you notice those Orbs first and then started taking the photos or was it a realisation when you looked back on them after taking them.

I only ask out of curiosity as I do find them fascinating as I have seen them personally myself, great Hub Voted like a champion too.

Very interesting. I believe that there are things that exist out there that not even science can explain.
