Thomas has travelled the world and seen and met with many people of various backgrounds. His motto is, "Travel is the best teacher".
Living in a world full of sin it may be easy to fall in to sin, to compromise, to make excuses for our un-Godly life...actions and speech.
We can look around and see much prosperity in the lives of the un-Godly and think perhaps that we want what they have. We may question why we do not have what they have and forget that we have more, we have Jesus and salvation. Our riches are in Heaven and those riches are worth more than anything in and of the world. Those riches do not decay, rot or rust.
Some people are not just focused or desirous of worldy riches or possesions, some think happiness is found in being in a relationship with a person. They are so focused on that that they will jump from one relationship to another or end up in one that is not Godly, or they will give up their salvation and relationship with Jesus just to be with someone.
Happiness is not found in worldy things and relationships. Happiness is found in Christ and in having Him as ones personal Lord and Savior.
I have heard some say, "that person just needs to get…" (crude or slang term for sex). How can a person claim to be a Christian and say such a thing?
I have heard some who claim to be a follower of Christ say that God told them that their relationship is fine, He is ok with it. The relationship being a sexual one outside of marriage. Again, this goes against God.
I also have heard some say getting drunk is not a sin.
Read Matthew 12:36-37
People ought to read their Bible. Take a moment and read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
One is either a follower of Christ which means we will try and live according to His will and His word and model our lives after Him. We will not willingly and knowingly commit sin.
Yes we are sinners, Christ paid for our sins so we can be forgiven. But that does not mean we have a license to sin. It means we can repent, turn away from our sinful life, know that we can have eternal salvation through repentance and live in Christ knowing we are saved.
However, if we continue in our old ways, continue to walk and live in sin, then we are not saved. But if we slip up, make a mistake and quickly repent, then yes He will forgive us and He will save us. But we must learn from our mistakes and true repentance means we don't want to go back to that sinful life.
We can't be lukewarm, we can't sit on the fence, we must make a decision to either live with christ as our Lord and Savior or not. Revelation 3:16
I know there may be some people who will disagree with this. But the Lord is very clear about sin and righteous living. The wide gate and broad way is full of people who think they are living a good life. Matthew 7:13
Turn from sin and turn to Christ this is the only way to live and have a full life. Store up for yourself riches in Heaven, dont be focused on worldly things.
Come to Christ and be saved.

Great stuff here. There was this guy named Abraham and he was real cool. He wrote that "obedience of the law is the greatest freedom". Being president of the USA and commencing a Civil Wars most thought he spoke of man's law. I know he meant God's law.
I simply do not need to sin. Perhaps others sin for me? Love Christ and love love.
