The Kingdom of Antichrist
The book of Revelation in the Christian New Testament has the reputation for being the most mysterious and enigmatic book in the entire Bible. For centuries scholars, theologians and clergyman from Catholic, Protestant and Evangelical backgrounds have been attempting to make sense of it. This is no easy feat, because the Book of Revelation is a book that is full of symbols that need to be decoded from the Hebrew Old Testament.
This is something that many interpreters look over when they try to make sense of the Book of Revelation. With that being said, there is no shortage of opinion when it comes to interpreting this book. However, when one hears of this particular book they immediately think of a certain personage and that individual is the eschatological antichrist. The apostle John speaks of this individual and his kingdom in Revelation 13.
In verse 1 of this parenthetical chapter he (John) writes, “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (KJV,1611).
In this particular passage, John is describing the antichrist kingdom by using the metaphor of a great sea creature with seven heads. This seven headed creature with ten horns and ten crowns is the mythological creature known as the Leviathan in the Old Testament. In ancient Ugaritic (Caananite) mythology, this creature is known as Lotan. In the Baal Cycle found among the Ugaritic texts at Ras Shamra in the early 20th century, Lotan is the servant of Yam ( god of the western seas) and is killed by Baal Hadad.
There is no shortage of myth and metaphor contained in the Bible, but this particular passage is very telling because it conveys a prophetic element that is believed to be manifested in the end of days. The seven heads and ten horns and crowns show that the antichrist kingdom is an amalgamation of seven historic world empires with ten contemporary world rulers. In other words, this New World Order will have the attributes and characteristics of seven prior empires manifested in ten future rulers which will give their power to one supreme leader.
The Seven Headed Leviathan
In Revelation 17:7, John describes a great whore of Babylon that rides this seven headed beast: And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
John demonstrates that five of the seven heads have already fallen before his time and that the sixth is existing in his time, and the seventh would come in the future and exist for a small time. After this he said an eighth kingdom would come, which would be the antichrist kingdom and would seek to destroy everything in its path. This is the Leviathan. This eighth kingdom will be of the seven. This means that the New World Order, as already stated, will share the characteristics of the prior seven and it could also possibly mean that the antichrist will carry all seven bloodlines.
These kingdoms are as follows: "Five have fallen" which are Babylon (Nimrod) Egypt (Ramses) Assyria (Sennacherib) Tyre (Ithobaal II) and Greece (Alexander the Great). The "One which is", was Rome (Nero Caeser) and the "One which is yet to come", which was quite possibly Nazi Germany (Adolf Hitler). The ten horns, which are ten future rulers wear diadems which are crowns of authority. These ten rulers will rule the world after a great catastrophe in the earth, which will probably be World War III.
This makes complete sense because the United Nations was formed as a result of World War II, and it is no stretch of the imagination to believe that the New World Order will arise out of the ashes of World War III. In fact, this is what the Illuminati adept have been striving for since the time of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. According to Genesis 11, Nimrod attempted to build the first world government in defiance of God, and the latter stopped his progress.
In the same chapter, one of the seven heads are wounded to death and John writes that the deadly wound would be healed. This is quite possibly the ancient Babylonian empire which was destroyed and would be restored in spiritual form in the end of days. Fortunately though, the prophet Isaiah teaches that this great sea monster would be destroyed by God Himself: “In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. (Isaiah 27:1)
Isaiah also writes concerning the future antichrist, which he calls the King of Babylon, that this mighty tyrant will be completely and utterly destroyed into a heap of ashes before thousands of onlookers. The Bible is very unique in the way in which it conveys future events under the auspices of mythology and metaphor. Whether one believes that the Bible is divinely inspired or not, they, under the light of reasonable scrutiny, cannot deny the creative and powerful literary devices that the Bible employs to get its message across.

I enjoyed reading your article. It is well done and I agree with your analysis. Thank you for the journey.

That is a very interesting perspective John. I certainly believe that the coronavirus is one of the prerequisites leading up to the New World Order. Bill Gates is calling for a new national tracking system in regard to this virus, but I do not believe that he is the antichrist. The crowns spoken of in Revelation derive from the Greek word "diadema" and means a ruler's crown denoting political authority. However, I do believe that this coronavirus is one of the many pre-designed things that will bring this beast system to fruition. Thanks for responding brother.

Interesting article, Stephen. Consider this, instead of the great catastrophy being Wold War III, what if it is the coronavirus, especially as Corona means “crown” and is the shape of the virus cells. Maybe the Antichrist will arise from this, or at least a new world order looks likely to result. Thank you for inspiring such questions.
