A Scenario: Nick Annoys a Witch

When everything is going wrong in your life, it might be more sinister than you think...

Nick put his run of bad luck down to, well, bad luck.

Most of it was trivial anyway: his car broke down, he caught a cold that took weeks to go away, and he seemed to be breaking crockery just by looking at it.

But things went from bad to worse—his girlfriend dumped him, he was passed over for promotion, and his beloved cat succumbed to feline flu.

He began to wonder if there were other forces at work.

He remembered when he got into a really stupid drunken argument with a woman in a bar over a bar stool. He knew he'd been totally obnoxious and unusually ungentlemanly, but there’d been something about her that put his back up. The memory was fuzzy but the one stand-out moment was when she told him he was cursed.

"How do you know that?" Nick asked.

"Because I just cursed you, idiot."

He laughed in her face and turned away to carry on drinking with his buddies. (Nick really is a bit of an idiot.)

But, was he really cursed? How do you know if you are a victim of witchcraft? Is there some sort of definitive test to prove you are carrying the burden of a witch's wrath?

The modern resurgence of interest in witchcraft has also resulted in people worrying about becoming the subject of witch-hate.

Find out how to determine if you are suffering a run of bad luck, or if you truly are the victim of bad magic.

Bad Luck or Maleficence?

The difference between a run of bad luck and a curse is that bad luck usually comes to a swift end. The misfortunes are mostly coincidental and could happen to anyone.

A curse results in negative incidents which appear to be specific to you.

It’s almost as if you have been hit by a perfect storm—one bad thing leads to another. And, however hard you try to overcome your misfortunes, it all gets worse. Your efforts are rewarded with even more negativity. Even if you decide to leave the area, find a new job, or sell your car, bad luck continues to dog you with increasing intensity.

There comes a point when you know that something more is going on than mere bad luck.

Are You Really the Target of Witch Hate?

Mine Your Memory for a Suspicious Incident

It's extremely unlikely that you have been cursed randomly. Witches generally don't go around cursing all and sundry for minor mistakes, like picking up the wrong coffee at Starbucks.

However, if you have insulted or angered someone deliberately, then ask yourself if there's a chance that the person could be into witchcraft.

Consider Who May Have Cursed You

  • What about your ex? Do you think they are so upset or so full of rage that they would wish harm upon you?
  • The same goes for your coworkers. Have you caused anyone to lose their job? Or to be moved from the department? Or were you promoted over them?
  • How about a jealous friend? Someone who is always your buddy but who might secretly harbor a grudge? Maybe they think you live the perfect life, and theirs seems empty in comparison.
  • I get a lot of comments and messages from young people who have either been the victim or perpetrator of a curse. This is why I advise people not to mess around with witchcraft until they understand the risks. You need wisdom to use witchcraft.

Casting spells can be so beneficial, but they can also cause untold harm. Think whether someone in school may have marked you as a target for cursing.

What if Nothing Points to a Curse?

Don’t worry. Whether you have or haven’t been cursed, my curse removal ritual will cause no harm. In fact, it will clean out all negative energy from your life. Once should do it, but you can repeat it monthly if you want to make sure.

You do not have to dance around a circle, get naked, or purchase any expensive ingredients.

This is a simple but effective method of cleaning up the energetic vibrations around you. It involves visualization and a little physical effort.

Effective Curse Removal

The key to a successful visualization is emotion. If you have been the victim of a curse, it has probably caused a lot of misery. You can channel the misery to work in your favor. And, you can use the visualization to transform it into positivity. Also, the more real you can make it, the better it is.

Read through these instructions a few times until you have the procedure memorized. There are no magic words or incantations to remember.

What You Need

  • A comfortable place to sit with no interruptions—turn your phone off
  • A clean dish towel or small hand towel
  • Shower or bath

Directions to Cleanse Your Energy and Environment

  1. Sit quietly and relax. Close your eyes. Allow your shoulders to slump. Feel yourself becoming heavy and comfortable.
  2. Begin to delve into the dark negativity within and around you. Don’t get upset; just let it be there. Imagine the dark energy swirling around you like smoke. Don’t worry; it can’t harm you.
  3. Feel the utter misery that it has caused you over the last months. Really feel the despair but be one step removed, as though you are an observer.
  4. Now gradually introduce some bright energy, lighter. You could see it in your mind as white smoke. It swirls around and begins to replace the black smoke. Your own mood starts to lift as the transformation takes place.
  5. If you think you upset someone, even inadvertently, mentally apologize and forgive them simultaneously. Feel the relief of doing so strongly. This is a really important part of the ritual—even if you don’t know the witch concerned.
  6. Move your emotions from despair to hope to optimism. Imagine your internal landscape becoming lighter. Imagine sunlight filling your home. When you are ready, open your eyes.
  7. Stand up and take your towel. Walk around your home shaking the towel at all the corners. Visualize all the dark energy being chased away and replaced by clear, clean, sparkling light.
  8. Once that is done, go have a shower or bath. Wash your body from top to toe. Imagine any remaining sludgy energy being washed away for good.

And that’s it. You’re done. The curse has no hold over you now. Believe it.

Cleanse and Declutter Your Environment

It’s a good idea to follow up a curse cleansing with a real-life declutter and clean. Or do it before your ritual, if you prefer. When your environment is cluttered and messy, it causes negative energy to cling and swirl around. The healthier and happier your home, the less likely that it will attract heavy influences. Same with your car and workspace.

As I mentioned, you may not need to do this again, but you can if you want to.

Bev,

I enjoyed reading this one. It made me smile.

Imagine being cursed and being able to remove it from yourself.

I love this idea.

It seems simple enough to do.

You always do an excellent job of describing each detail in your work.

Hi Kalpana, it should do, but it depends how strong the curse is. Or, rather, how strong the 'victim's' belief in the curse is. Someone with no belief in such things will rarely be affected.

I had read about the protection spell in a previous article of yours. Does this prevent curses?
