Being a Christian is not easy but it is worth it because you know that someone is fighting for you with the battles you face

You Need to Know Why You Are Creating a Prayer Journal

Before you start doing a prayer journal, you need to know why you want it and why you need it. By thinking of the "why" it will be easier for you to do it with all your heart and not just when you only feel like doing it. The reason being is that this prayer journaling should be part of your daily routine for your faith becomes firmer.

We are just humans with minds and hearts, that we can think of a lot of things to do and sometimes we feel lazy to do some important things because we don't feel like doing them or we are just too busy with other things. For me, In order for us to do our prayer journaling regularly, I hope we remember the 'why" so we can be motivated every day to do it.

Prayer journaling can make you creative, at peace, grateful, think deeply, and prayerful. Because it is like a guide, that will let you list down things you want God to know, though He already knows what's in our hearts, it is also good to have something in writing that we can back-read in the future.

Your Prayer Journal Can Include the Following

Organize the things you would like to write in your prayer journal, will be a lot easier to read when you look back.

- Track your prayer list

- Ask God to help you to overcome the stress

- You can record God's faithfulness

- Count God's blessings and list down God's provisions

- Write all your troubles and hardships to our Lord

Having this included in your prayer journal, these things will help you to deep dive with the Lord and you will feel that you are not alone.

Create a Schedule for Your Prayer Journaling

I know we all have tasks to get done every day. We have responsibilities, which could be being a mother, wife, sister, employee, church volunteer, or even a friend. But I hope we don't let our busy days hinder us from doing the prayer journaling. Because this is one of the tools to relax our minds, hearts, and spirit after so much you have encountered in a day.

If you are busy in the morning like a mother, helping her kids to prepare to go to their schools, or making breakfast for her husband, that's alright! Because even single ladies are sometimes busy as well in the morning. I just hope that you find time to do your prayer journal either after lunchtime or before bedtime.

You can set an alarm for a specific time when you will be available to help you not to forget and skip it in a day. You can also include this in your to-do list. This strategy is so effective and helpful.

You Can Set Up the Sections of Your Prayer Journal

Having these sections in your prayer journal will help you make a good one and these are just one of the things you can write about.

- Prayer requests

- Scripture that struck you the most

- Praises for God

- Worship

You can definitely add more that you think should be written to God as well.
