Inner Earth Inhabitants

It can be difficult to interpret ancient mythology, legends and manuscripts into modern thinking but the two Battles of Magh Tuireadh of Celtic Mythology seem to indicate that the Fomorians and especially the Tuatha Dé Danann were in actuality Hollow Earth inhabitants. In this article Hollow Earth Inhabitants and The Battle of Magh Tuireadh I will attempt to show that this is precisely the case.

Of all the people I have met and talked to that do indeed subscribe to the Hollow Earth theory, many are divided as to the altruism of its inhabitants and some believe that those that live inside our planet are demons with nefarious intent and because of this none should be trusted. However I submit to my reader that, just as there are evil men with corrupt intentions on the surface, so too are there different factions within our planet that may oppose each other's philosophical beliefs.

I suspect that a large majority of inner Earth inhabitants are peaceful and have lived without warfare for thousands of years. Because of this they have flourished spiritually and technologically, which has enabled them to advance to a high degree of spiritual living to the point that they exist in virtually immortal bodies.

Consider for a moment where our own race would be without constant warfare. Sure, warfare has lead to many advanced technologies but contemplate if some of those same technologies were used for peaceful purposes how far we as a species could have evolved.

I propose to you that as the peaceful nations and tribes of Hollow Earth gained power through spiritual and technological advancements, they may have decided to impose their peace upon other factions within their own boundaries. This would have lead to some of the spiritually inferior or less evolved races within Hollow Earth to make a choice. Either live in peace without making war or move to the surface of the planet where warfare is an accepted form of social behavior.

Had tribes or races of Hollow Earth inhabitants decided on the latter, say even three thousand years ago ( the battles of Tagh Tuireadh occurred in 14th century B.C.) , they still might be considered, through their technological advancements, Gods or demi-Gods or maybe what the Greeks called the Titans.

However I digress, my main point is that when trying to interpret ancient mythologies many advanced technologies we possess now would be considered magical devices to ancient man. So if a race of men were to appear virtually out of nowhere how would ancient man interpret this?

I believe the ancient mythology of the Celts shows that this is exactly what happened however what they mistook as Gods were actually inner Earth inhabitants that had moved to the surface for their war-like nature. Having left through the Northern polar entrance to Hollow Earth in ships (what we would call UFOs) they decided to follow their ancestors the Nemed to Ireland.

When Irish history was written down, Ireland had been under Christian influence for centuries and their ancient history had been handed down orally for untold generations. Since Christians only believed in one God these divine races were given mortal status despite the oral traditions of the native Irish.

Celtic Mythology

The most common translation of the Tuatha De Danann is "peoples of the goddess Danu" however this is not a precise interpretation. Danann has been written as Domnann which could link them to the Fir Domnann which means "men of the Domain".

Danu is considered a water Goddess, hence the name of the river Danube but was also considered the Mother Goddess. However we can find variations of this name in Hindu and Greek mythology as well, basically denoting the same Goddess.

What is interesting to note is that the first stories of the Tuatha Dé Danann has them landing on the mountain tops of Conmaicne Rein (Connachta) and with them they brought three days of darkness. The significance of this is that ancient 'Great Flood' (Polar Shift) mythology the world over speaks of three days of darkness. There is sufficient evidence to show that they arrived in Ireland soon after a major catastrophic flood of global proportions. This would coincide with the passing of Nibiru Planet X 3,600 years ago.

Two variations of their landing exist today, the first describes their landing on mountain tops enveloped in clouds and mist, not unlike what a rocket ship might produce and then those same ships simply disappearing. Many eyewitness testimony of UFOs have described the crafts moving away at high speeds or simply disappearing.

The second common story of their arrival has them landing on the Irish shore in clouds of mist and then burning their ships so that they would not be tempted to use them to leave. Here is a poem taken from Lebor Gabala Erenn or what is commonly known as the The Book of Invasions, which describes the arrival of the Tuatha De Danann to Ireland.

It is God who suffered them, though He restrained them

they landed with horror, with lofty deed,
in their cloud of mighty combat of spectres,
upon a mountain of Conmaicne of Connacht.

Without distinction to descerning Ireland,
Without ships, a ruthless course
the truth was not known beneath the sky of stars,
whether they were of heaven or of earth.

They were said to have come from four ancient cities far to the North Falias, Gorias, Murias and Finias where they learned their magical skills and knowledge. However since these cities have never been found, then they could very well exist in a land not recognized by our own historians, such as Hollow Earth.

The Tuatha Dé Danann were only one race of many that arrived on the shores of ancient Ireland under mysterious circumstances however they are the ones that I will focus on as they seem to possess technological knowledge and sophistication.

Celtic Symbols

Celtic symbols often show repeating motifs, in this case the four directions and elements are represented with three repeating shapes in the center of a circle, surrounded by a square representing sky, water and Earth.

Technological Sophistication and Knowledge

The Tuatha De Danann brought with them a vast amount of knowledge that was far superior to what the natives of Ireland possessed. Most stories of the Tuatha De Danann considered them to be 'super-natural beings' with magical weapons and sophisticated technology.

There are predominantly four 'magical treasures' that they brought with them that we will explore in this article.

  • The Dagda Cauldron
  • The Spear of Lugh
  • The Stone of Lia Fail
  • The Sword of Light of Nuada

The Dagda Cauldron was said to be a bowl or device that never ran out of food and could supply whatever one needed and supposedly could restore life. Now to me this sounds like what is described in the television series Star Trek as a replicator, a device that replicates food from energy.

This is not the only reference to such a device as it was also described in the book Passport To Eternity by Laurence W. Foreman (1970). This book describes a group of beings, possibly from Hollow Earth that educate a man from Los Angeles, California about the true nature of mankind. In this book he learns that these beings use a replicating type device to supply their nourishment and use craft that have cloaking technology or quite simply are able to disappear.

Regardless, the cauldron symbolizes much more than just a replicator of food and maybe the origins of the Holy Grail mythology. This vessel of infinite depth, represents rebirth and the womb of the Great Mother. It is not 'owned' by the God Dagda but rather protected by him as the Sacred Cauldron or giver of life. I do not need to explain how a cauldron could symbolize a womb or giver of life as my readers are sophisticated enough to make this connection themselves.

The Spear of Lugh is described by many translations as a weapon that none could stand against he that possessed it. However when we research the true nature of this 'spear' we find that the translation of the oral history may have misinterpreted the information. Remember that the Irish oral history was translated by those that might not have understood abstract thinking and had a limited paradigm of the world.

Yet as vigorous and diligent as the scholars of the past were, as much as we owe them, we must never forget that they are all too human. We must remember that they were the products of conservative European universities, long dominated by Christian dogma.

This statement by Michael Ragan from his introduction to The Four Sacred Symbols is important to recognize as many translations were without the knowledge of modern technology or advanced understanding of symbolism that modern scholars take for granted.

When we look deeper into the MacAlister's translation of . . .

"From Goirias was brought the spear which Lug had: battle would never go against him who had it in hand"

. . . we realize that this Sacred Spear was nothing more than inspirational knowledge gained from wisdom. Breaking down the literal translation we see that Goirias is a latin term for Gor which means origin or source and Lug means light or illumination.

Granted Lugh is an Irish name for a leader of the Tuatha De Danann, he was born two generations after their arrival and so should not be considered as part of this translation. Further more his choice of weapons was the sling, which he used in the second battle of Magh Tuireadh to slay Balor.

So as we research this 'magical weapon' we begin to understand that the 'spear' is literally the man who uses his divine inspiration or 'intelligence' as a weapon against his enemies and that a person who is inspired by wisdom derived from the source, no man can stand against.

Magical Spears not withstanding a warrior that uses his superior intelligence derived from ancient knowledge and wisdom would be a formidable adversary to any opponent. The 'spearhead' to any great strategy is knowledge derived from wisdom.

"From Falias was brought Lia Fail which is in Temair,
and which is used to utter a cry under every king that should take Ireland."
Lebor Gabala Erenn

The Lia Fail or Stone of Destiny as it is sometimes referred is surrounded in controversy, however if we breakdown the literal translation it becomes apparent that the translations may have been misinterpreted on purpose to censor the truth.

A Lia stone was often inscribed with symbols and characters and used to mark boundaries or monuments. Lia also describes a stone of grey and great age, which is associated with knowledge and wisdom. The word Fail is used to describe (adjective) and is defined as a hedge, wall, bed, resting place, protection, act of guarding, circle or legal barrier.

So this term could be defined as the resting place or barrier of knowledge or wisdom and that any king that stood upon it would be the protector of that knowledge and wisdom. So any king that would stand on the Lia Fail would use that knowledge and wisdom so that his voice or 'cry' would be heard by all as true and right.

"From Findias was brought the Sword of Nuada;
no man would escape from it when it was drawn from its scabbard.
There was no resisting it."
--Lebor Gabala Erenn

Interestingly enough but not surprising, this translation of the of the original Gaelic text is not accurate and shows that the decidedly Christian slant is misleading to the point of outright censorship. In The Book of Lecan which has the true gaelic writings we find that the first line reads "A findias tuchadh claidhim nuada" however 'ias' is a latin term added to words when the meanings didn't fit the translators definitions and when the letter 'd' is dropped from the word nuadad it also takes on a whole new meaning.

Accurately translated the first line should read "From that bright place (land of origin) comes the Sword of Renewal." This misinterpretation is not accidental as some may suppose but was designed specifically to keep the average student from recognizing certain truths. The Christian scholars were censoring this information to protect their world view and religious slant as well as prevent historians from understanding the true origins of the myths and legends they described.

An accurate description of the Gaelic text would be;

"From the homeland, the people brought the Bright Sword. Its singular spirit cannot be escaped. O how wretched life increases when it (the sword) is unsheathed (or revealed).

What this shows is that the Tuatha De Danann did indeed bring much wisdom and knowledge from their Hollow Earth origins, as well as advanced technology but what all these magical treasures have in common is the knowledge and wisdom of the truth.

What holds more singular spiritual wisdom and cannot be escaped but the truth?

How wretched does life increase when we as an individual or society un-sheath or reveal the truth?

These four magical treasures as they are described may very well have been actually devices and weapons but they assuredly have a more symbolic meaning as well. Just as the four seasons symbolically describe man's journey through life, so too do these 'treasures'.

The Cauldron describes the birth and infinite possibilities of life of the newborn, the spear shows the importance of gaining knowledge through experience and using it to determine a strategy of purpose, the stone is a symbol of how one can use that knowledge to rule ones life with integrity and wisdom and the sword defines the reason all sentient beings exist to always search for the truth.

First Battle of Magh Tuireadh

The First Battle of Magh Tuireadh (also spelled Moytura) came about soon after the Tuatha De Danann landed in Ireland on their 'cloud ships'. Initially the Tuatha De parlayed for peace sending their hero Bres to speak with the warrior Sreng of the Firbolg, the current rulers of Ireland.

The Firbolg, having heard that the Tuatha De Danann were the most skilled, handsome and fair of all mankind in the arts of warfare, music and knowledge, feared that they would try to take Ireland from them and so sent out scouts and spies to learn of them. They sent their fiercest warrior to parlay with them, Sreng.

Sreng met with Bres and they soon learned that both tribes were the descendants of the same race the Nemed. Having learned of this mutual brotherhood, they parted in peace and fellowship.

But the Firbolg would not yield half of Ireland to the Tuatha De Danann, fearing that in time the invaders would want all of Ireland for themselves. So the Tuatha De Danann retreated to a place they felt they could defend called Slieve Belgadain (Black Hill) and there they set up a fortress.

From this fortress they set about bombing the Firbolg with showers of sorcery, clouds of compact mist and a rain of fire (weather or biological weapons?), for three days and nights. Knowing no peace or safety the Firbolg gathered a host to confront them. This is how the first Battle Magh Tuireadh began.

After two days of fighting and neither side giving ground Sreng, the Firbolg warrior that initially parlayed for peace confronted Nuaga, king of the Tuatha De Danann and hacked of his right arm. Although Nuada lived through this terrible wound, both sides drew wary of the wanton slaughter and sued for peace.

In the end both sides decided to share Ireland and Sreng chose the province of Connacht for the Firbolg, while the Tuatha De Danann spread out to inhabit all other parts of Ireland, making Bres their king.

Both sides inflicted terrible damage to the other and yet, during my research I was able to determine that the Tuatha De Danann advanced skill in the medical arts and knowledge allowed them to heal their wounded so that they could return to battle the next day. This could not have been done without a high degree of medical knowledge and technology, that went far beyond what was known to the world in 1,400 B.C.

According to my research, the Tuatha De Danann inflicted terrible losses to the Firbolg, numbering 100,000 with far less men. Unless the head of Tuatha De Danann warrior was struck from his body, they would survive their wounds to fight the next day. This ability or technology allowed them to defeat a foe that outnumbered them greatly.

Tuatha De Danann

Second Battle of Magh Tuireadh

The Second Battle of Magh Tuireadh was said to have taken place after the Tuatha De Danann had conquered Ireland but had become oppressed by a race known as the Fomorians or Fomoire (plural). This race was said to be semi-divine and have many special powers. Their name suggest that they too originated from Hollow Earth as Fo means under/beneath and muir means sea or under the sea, which would be an apt way of defining Hollow Earth.

Bres the current king of the Tuatha De Danann is deposed due to his harsh rule, heavy taxes and lack of compassion for his subjects. Nuada the former king takes his place after having his arm replaced by a fully functional mechanical or bionic arm and is renamed Nuada Airgetlam or Nuada of the Silver Hand.

Bres, whom is a product of his mother Eriu a Tuatha De Danann and his father Elatha a Formorian appeals to his father to take back his throne and is rejected under the reasoning that he is not worthy. His father tells him that "You have no right to get it by injustice when you could not keep it by justice".

Bres found an ally among the Fomorians in the name of Balor of the Evil Eye. Balor possessed an eye (perhaps some sort of laser/targeting device) which when opened could lay waste to all that he saw.

Lugh, another player in the drama and also a product of relations between the races, appears at the court of the Tuatha De Danannn and impresses the king Nuada so much with his skill in the arts of warcraft and strategy (see Spear of Lugh above) that he is given command of the Tuatha De Danann's army. This is an important turn of events as Nuada is killed in battle by Balor and Lugh is able to exact revenge by killing Balor with a stone from his sling.

The result of Lugh killing Balor by driving his eye technology through the back of his head with his slingshot and the resulting explosion killed many of the Fomorians and turned the tide of the battle, leading to the Tuatha De Danann winning the Second Battle of Tagh Tuireadh.

They drove the Fomorians back to the sea but they did provide a measure of mercy by sparing the defeated army and allowing them to retreat. Lugh came upon Bres the instigator of the entire battle and spared him after he promised to teach the natives of Ireland agriculture and animal husbandry.

Tuatha De Danann

The Tuatha De Danann origins seemed shrouded in mystery there can be no doubt however their sophisticated technology, profound moral and spiritual ethics should provide even the casual reader enough food for thought to recognize that they have a other worldly aura about them.

As you read above the Tuatha De Danann did bring four magical gifts to the surface and introduced these concepts to the people of the Earth. Their skill in the medical arts, craftsmanship, music and diplomacy coupled with their high moral standards, ethical principals and knowledge set them apart from other races on this planet.

After the second Battle of Tagh Tuireadh they lived peacefully in Ireland for two centuries, then a group later known as the Picts tried to invade but were convinced through diplomacy to occupy other lands. Later a race calling themselves the Milesians came to invade Ireland and perhaps because they were weary of warfare the Tuatha De Danann Kings asked for and received a three days truce, which enabled the Tuatha De Danann to slip away and return underground from whence they came.

No matter what you choose to believe, I submit to you the reader that there is enough evidence to support the notion that the Tuatha De Danann were Hollow Earth Inhabitants and the Battle of Magh Tuireadh supports this.

Hi blue, as you know I am from Ireland and reading this great piece I would like to add a few things that may be helpfull for a bit more research. My name is Brian, the BORU in Irish gaelic, BRES in Ulster Scots, BREOGAN in Gallego northern Spanish Celts. 10 miles from where I live is Scrabo Tower Co Down, I used to live in La Coruna north west Spain. There is also a tower there which predates my local one by 4/500 years and its called the Tower of Hurcules. Apperently it was built by the sons of El Rey Breogan to celebrate an expedition to the mystical land of EIRE. Both towers are almost identical including dimensions and construction. Recent excavations in Spain below the tower has revealed that there were two older towers, dates of I cannot remember. In both places I feel a belonging and have an instant sense that I am in the right place, almost as if the people are kin. The tower at Scrabo is now way above sea level but was built to defend from the sea, rocks aroud the site still have limpets, cockles and other sea life fossels everywhere. Mabye the hollow people were also part of this cunundrum. Any thoughts, ps one way ticket inside I would gladly go and like you hit the library. good vibes and up.

Thank you Paula, I really enjoy seeking the truth and speculating about the past, I suspect we haven't even revealed the tip of the knowledge iceberg.

Another of your "fantastic," mind-stretching works of art! I seem to find it necessary to read your hubs more than once.....but I enjoy doing so.

Having a totally open mind is something of which I'm proud and also grateful. There is much too much to learn to turn a blind eye to any possibility. Your writing is the stuff I love to get into deeply....and spend a lot of time wondering why I've not ever been as adventurous and bold as you are!....

You're like a bonus teacher to me! Thanx!.....Up+++....Paula

somethgblue (author) from Shelbyville, Tennessee on July 28, 2015:

I know its a stretch but I came to this speculation after reading about so many breakaway civilizations such as the Hopi, Mayans, Anasazi (Cliff Dwellers) in New Mexico and their strange disappearance and of course the Hyperboreans, Atlanteans and Lemurians.

Then you have the strange doings of the Aztecs during Montezuma's reign and the Conquistadors, the disappearance of the thirteen tribes of Israel and the Incas seemingly disappearance, couple with so many other civilizations throughout time that seemed to simply vanish without a trace.

My thinking is they found entrances to Hollow Earth or went underground or perhaps even Ascended, in which case they would still be on Earth simply living in the next dimension.

There is a book that has never been published (and understandable so once you read it) called Genesis For A New Space Age, you can read it for free on Scrbd., I think or you can go to my article New Age Books For Truth Seekers 6 thru 10 and get a good overview of it, that outlines information our own Government KNOWS about Hollow Earth.

This book only uses FOIA documents, whistleblower testimony, Government Insiders willing to talk and released Government documents, it was written in 1980. The list of references at the end reads like a Who's Who of Government Insiders from Congressmen, Admirals, Generals, Diplomats, Secretaries of Defense, Astronauts, Ambassadors and Scientists, names you will recognize.

My point is that it tells a story about the trading of technology with Hollow Earth, where UFOs really come from all the breakaway past civilizations of humanity going back 30 to 40 thousand and even millions of years and all of it is linked to Hollow Earth.

It describes Secret Space Programs from the 30s, before WWII, how Hollow Earth is an accepted reality no one denies but also does not publicize, Moon Bases the whole thing and it was written in 1980.

So this is where I decided that many civilizations and races such as the Vikings that were travelers of the Oceans could have been trading with Hollow Earth inhabitants and may have even come from there.

The reason being is that Hollow Earth has had no warfare for 30,000 years and any race that wishes to engage in that behavior is simple kicked out. Realize a race of humans that is 30,000 years ahead of us in technology and been at peace that long could easily remove any other race from their land.

450 million 3rd, 4th and 5th dimensional humans live inside our planet and have been civilized and spiritually and technologically more advanced than us for the last 30,000 years, I reckon they can and do what ever they please.

Phyllis Doyle Burns from High desert of Nevada. on July 28, 2015:

Hi Blue. I do not subscribe to the Hollow Earth theory in this context regarding the Tuatha de Danann. I have for many years been interested in the Hopi beliefs of their times underground and emerging to the second, third, fourth and now fifth world.

I enjoyed reading your hub - it is a quite different than mine on the Tuatha de Danann and their origins, but I enjoyed it anyway. Well done.

Really I forgotten that, may have to go back and read that. I suspect that there have been many, many alien races that have existed and perhaps still do on this planet.

However one thing is for sure we are stuck in a spiritual trap and through our own self imposed ignorance are unable to move beyond it.

Let me tell you right now the article I'm currently writing, I'm almost afraid to publish as it is a doozy but hey in for a penny, in for a pound as Brits like to say!

Marc Hubs from United Kingdom on December 31, 2013:

Thoroughly enjoyable read, very interesting and useful indeed.

"men of the Domain" - reminds me of the Roswell alien interview PDF you sent me a link to before, the alien claimed to be part of what he/she/it called "the domain".

somethgblue (author) from Shelbyville, Tennessee on December 30, 2013:

Not much is ever written in the mainstream media about Hollow Earth, however there are millions of people that believe in the veracity of the myths, legends and stories.

When I first began researching Hollow Earth 4 or 5 years ago I Googled it and got about 3 million hits, now when you Google the subject you get over 20 million, so more and more people are awakening to this concept.

The Tuatha De Danann seemed like a spiritually evolved race and yet were still willing to go to war when diplomacy failed, of course that was 3,000 years ago, I suspect they have evolved past that by now . . . hopefully?

Thanks for reading they have certainly sparked my imagination as well.
