Healing Rain ~ A Poem and More
Theresa loves to share her true life accounts when the Lord shows up mightily in her life. She knows He still performs miracles today.
Our Faith
“Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” (Mark 5:34)
In Dedication ...
I dedicate this poem and song to my sweet and precious granddaughter, who has a broken wing at the moment. Although, the doctors say she may not regain full use of her left arm due to severe nerve damage, I know God can heal and I am placing my full faith and trust in Him to heal her so that she will regain full use of her broken wing. The poem is written in such a way as I would imagine our sweet Lord is speaking to her at this time.
The poem was written during the time she was not able to move about but be very still.
Now, after her appointment with the doctor, she was cleared to go on to kindergarten, and is able to smile. Whether she regains the full use of her left arm remains to be seen; however, I have faith God can and will heal her completely.

One of Her Favorite Things

O' Sweet Child's favorite pink, purple and gold rocking horse that she received on her very first birthday from her "Nanny" and "Paw Paw" and that she still loves to this day, even more so than at age one! It has her name painted on the back rest.
My photo
This poem was written at the time her arm was first broken last Thursday, on the same day my husband had knee surgery, then we received the call that she was taken to the hospital that same day to have surgery as well. She was on the playground at daycare, just a week before she was to start kindergarten, when the bad break happened. She has two pins in her elbow, which is dislocated. One pin is very close to a nerve, and she may not have use of her "pinky" (fifth digit) finger. As stated above, on a more serious note, the doctors are saying she may never regain full use of her left arm due to severe nerve damage.
His Healing Rain
O' Sweet Child
O’ sweet child
With a broken wing
One without a song to sing
Lying there, so very still
Please know this is not My will
I do understand you most of all
For I truly hear when you call
I’ll wash it all away, you’ll see
That pain, when you lean on Me
Now for all the world to see
In you, reflects the light of me
My healing rain now does fall
For I know you feel so very small
Bravely take My hand
And I will help you to firmly stand
Do not let go
For I truly want you to know
I am bringing My healing rain
To wash away yesterday’s pain
You have a lot to gain
By just washing in My healing rain
O' sweet child
