Find Refuge in Him

I am a certified pastor and an active Christian of over 15 years, The Lord has made His voice known to me. I have heard and seen His angels.

Who Needs Hope?

We all have good days and bad days, frustrations and triumphs. Life is a roller coaster. Through it all you can find hope in our Heavenly Father.

Lamentations 3:24 (NLT) says:

I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!”

The Lord IS MY INHERITANCE! This means that no matter what happens, God is always going to be our Father. He will always be there; through the doubt, through the trials, through the triumphs, and through every single victory, no matter how small.

Actions Speak Louder Then Words

Each of us inherits God’s love. We can’t earn it, give it away, or reject it. We are stuck in a cocoon of unfailing love.

If that isn’t enough, the Bible also tells us that:

You(God) are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope.

Psalms 119:114 (NLT)

Now we see God as more than love. We see Him as a God of action. He shows His love through His actions. The second part of this verse is one that many overlook or disregard. In order to receive the hope that God offers, we must confide in His word, both spoken and written. By studying and referencing the Bible, we can receive and find refuge in hope.

You Are An Heir

Micah 7:7 (NLT) further reveals that our Lord is a savior. He saves, protects, and listens to us:

How precious is your steadfast love, O God!

The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.

You see, we are all heirs to God’s great love. As heirs of this love, we are protected and saved. He hears our cries for help and saves us.

Our God is an AWESOME God!

Closing Words

What questions do you have for God? As an heir of His love, you can talk to Him as if He was your earthly father. After all, He does call us His children.

Pray, ask God one of your questions. Then, wait. Listen for His answer.

God bless.
