The Secret that Sets you Apart Among Thousands of People
There is one secret I have come to understand in life that sets you apart and brings the best of everything to you. It establishes your work for you, attracts the right man or woman and opens doors that , normally wouldn't be opened for you.
This secret is the favor of God. Now this kind of favor does all things for you without your asking for it, nor pleading for it. Instead of sweating over your interviews, just declare that favor. It’s like that favor goes before you in all situations and puts things in place.
You wouldn’t even know where to start were you to go about it yourself. It is the favor of God that makes you eligible for a long lasting business partnership or even that long lasting forever, kind of romantic relationship.
From the book of Esther from the bible we see just how much the favor of God went to work for Esther. The favor of God made Hegai. The eunuch who was in charge of the harem give Esther the best food and the best place in the harem. She didn’t ask but it was done for her. Favor sets you up well with the best of everything. She was also given 7 attendants!
The King Favors Esther Above all Other Women
How to Win the Heart of a King
Hundreds of women were in the harem for the express purpose of trying to win the King’s heart. They were most probably women more beautiful and more eloquent than Esther yet none attracted the king as much as Esther did. The king’ search for his queen ended when he saw Esther. She became his queen.
The book of Esther is one of my favorite books in the bible and I have read it countless times. I have read that chapter many times and each time I convinced myself that she must have been given some kind of herb that made her different. This was before I understood favor. It wasn’t anything she did. It was favor.
All the other women didn’t know about that favor
That made her different. This was before I understood favor. It wasn’t anything she did. It was favor.
The Golden Scepter Extended to Esther
Favor doesn’t select, it works for everyone and it is not automatic. It has to be evoked
All through out my primary school years and high school, I noticed that teachers liked those students that were intelligent. Students that scored 99% more than those that scored 45%.
Then, I assumed it was natural to like students that have an aptitude for quick understanding on concepts and of course the teachers’ treatment and behavior towards these grade A students was different.
Who wouldn’t want to be associated with success especially if you were the one directly involved with it? Favor isn’t in question here. But there were students that were below average that got favored all the time and were given preference over the grade A students. That is favor.

When favor reigns in your Life
Then there were beautiful girls that just got all the attention from the boys. Then there were woman that everyone considered not so beautiful nor intelligent. Others said ‘they didn’t’ seem to have much going on for them’. Yet they always got the good-looking man, had the kind of weddings that people talked about months after the wedding. The envious said luck.
Favor doesn’t select, it works for everyone and it is not automatic. It has to be evoked. Pretty much like putting on your uniform or clothes after bathing. You wouldn’t dream of walking out of the house naked.
I am sure it is much the same with declarations of favor. You are the one who has to put them on, so to speak. It is activated by speaking it out, as you do Favor goes to work on your behalf.
Favor Opens Doors that Would not Ordinarily Open for you.
Favor then is essential in life. Many people receive many things they even admit they don’t deserve. They can’t explain it but they were just selected someone just liked them. Someone was favored for a job post they didn’t even qualify for. Yet the more deserving applicant didn’t get it.
This kind of favor is God's favor and it works for everyone. Many times it seems others aren’t favored and only a few are. Those that are favored must have a way of calling upon that favor.
From the bible King David said;” For surely you bless the righteous and you cover them with your favor as with a shield.” That’s God’s favor.
Imagine being covered by favor as with a shield. Who would even refuse you anything? That kind of favor is like a magnet that draws all to you. They just can’t help it they are hooked to you. That’s the kind of favor Esther had. That is the kind of favor that worked on her behalf. That favor is still at work today. Many don’t know about it or if they read or hear about it they don’t apply it.
Favor Declarations for Breakthrough | Joel Osteen | I Declare
How to activate God's favor in your Life.
Declaring it sets it in motion. When I look closely I notice that when you are favored, you don’t trouble yourself much with how you look or what you have accomplished or not accomplished. You get accepted and you get more in life than anyone else.
Favor qualifies you more than anything else ever would. Favor makes you stand out. Favor makes you accepted everywhere you go. Favor makes people go all out for you. Favor makes people bring their best to you.
Favor is the key to enter places where you would normally not even think of going.
Anyone who has God’s favor is favored by God Himself and all men. Favor brings fame. Esther was an ordinary girl but favor made her queen and we still read about her today. Jesus Christ enjoyed that favor as he was growing. The bible says that he grew in stature and in favor with God and with men.
You never get to do anything where favor is concerned. It is all done for you.
The Role of Favor in your Life
The favor of God in the lives of Joseph in the Bible.
In the Genesis 39: 4 -6 We are told of Joseph who at the age of 17 had been sold as a slave into Egypt by his own brother and yet even then God caused him to be favored in a foreign land.
''4 Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. 5 From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph.''
The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field. 6 So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate.
