I hope that reading this article is a turning point in your spiritual life. The goal of the article is to allow the reader to discover that God desires to become intimate with each of us. You do not have to live your life in a state of bewilderment and uncertainty. God has a plan for our lives; however, that plan will be revealed only by communing with Him. It is just plain common sense that the Creator of heaven and earth, who is upholding everything by the word of His power, knows His own preordained purpose for our lives.

Nevertheless, many people will live and die having never found what this life is for. Their souls are lost because they never accepted the reign of or submitted to God’s purpose for their lives. That fact is the most unfortunate thing under heaven because God has freely given and equipped mankind with talents and gifts. All we need to do is ask, and we shall receive the answer for what role He wants us to play in this life. However, the lackadaisical approach employed by most people of devoting only minuscule amounts of time to such an important endeavor will never yield any meaningful results.

Spiritual things, like all other pursuits, are full-participation sports; you get out of them what you put in. If you are a Christian, you already possess within you everything necessary to fulfill your destiny. If you are not, simply confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of God and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead to be a propitiation for the sin of mankind. Then you only have to be obedient and follow God’s roadmap for your life. During the journey, God will be right there in the midst of events that are changing and perfecting your character. Remember, it will not happen overnight, but gradually you will experience life-changing events and achieve key milestones along the way. And those events and milestones will be guideposts that confirm that you are obediently following the God-inspired course for your life.

Start your journey today by asking forgiveness for your sins and acknowledging that you deserve wrath (i.e., judgment) for your rebellion against God's commandments. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. This is already shown true (Romans 3:23). For this reason I implore you to be reconciled with God today. Romans 10:9-10 says, “if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Then growth in faith, share the gospel, live righteous before the Lord Jesus, and eternal life will be your reward in heaven.
