Awesome Bible Reading Challenges: To Motivate Study of God's Word

Many times today many people including myself just go through reading a chapter from the Bible just to get through our devotional time, but at times do not really study the Word and allow it to impact our every facet of our life. Here are some bible reading challenges that will help us read the Word more and also teach us the importance of allowing the Word to change us, help us, and draw us to a powerful relationship with God.

"Ask the questions, “Who, what, when, where, why, and how?” Look for the people involved. Look for the subject, event, or action. Try to determine when and where the verses were written. Determine why God wanted you to hear this message."

I absolutely agree with you, Jamie. God wants our time with him, to be a great time with Him. I appreciate you reading my hub and for your comment.

Jamie Wallin from Winchester, KY on April 01, 2015:

Nice work in letting others know about these tools they can use in their walk. Let's pray that God uses them (and your writing!) to revive hearts that spend time with Him out of obligation or as you worded it - just to "get through." He never wanted our time with Him to be that way. He wants our time with Him to be invigorating, stretching, molding, creating, challenging us to new depths of understanding, and continually breathing life into us as He is alive. Good work.
