Russia as the 'Bear,' how come?
How come Russia has been associated with the bear?
The answer to this query lies in the Western portrayal of Russia from the middle ages into the modern era. The bear was frequently used to depict Russian geography, culture and politics. Due to Russian relative isolation from Western Europe, Russia has won the impression of beibg the 'land of mystery.' Russia was perceived as wild, untamed and dangerous just like the bear.(russianamericanyouth.org)
This impression of Russia has been evident in the maps of medieval time. Considering the cartoons published in some Western publications, one can easily identify how the bear reveals the Western attitude toward Russia throughout the 19th century. These cartoons frequently depicted the rivalry between Russian and Western powers which often portrays Russia as a land-hungry country seeking to insist influence over eastern and central Asia.(russianamericanyouth.org)
As of the present, Russia embraced the bear as its symbol. The bear was chosen as the mascot of the 1980 Moscow Olympics. The parliament of the post Soviet Russian Federation considered choosing the bear as the official symbol of Russia. Furthermore, the most popular party of Russia, "Russia United," use the bear on the official party emblem and several Russian republics use the bear in their flag. Russia has now claimer the bear as their very own symbol.(russianamericanyouth.org)
Russia and World War 3
It is written in the passage above, that in the mouth of the bear in between its teeth, there are three ribs. What could be these three ribs represent? Could it be that one of those ribs represent Ukraine, and after Ukraine Russia is going to invade more countries?
On March 27, 2022, Youtube channel "India Today," reported that according to some Russian officials, six European nations still needed to be denazified. These six nations include Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Kazaksthan, Moldovia and Poland. Four of these countries, Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are members of NATO. If this plan is to be materialized, a confrontation between Russia and NATO must happen. It is included in their treaty that an attack to a member of NATO, is an attack to all members. This will involve US, Canada, UK, Germany, France and all the members of NATO paving the way for World War 3. It implies that the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine will not end with Ukraine for it is written the bear is bound to devour more flesh.
How Russia VS Ukraine War could spark World War 3
If the war between Russia and Ukraine will intensify further, it may lead to World War 3. Based on the statement of a NATO leader, if Russia will use chemical or nuclear weapon, NATO will be involved since nuclear and chemical warfare may spill out of Ukraine into its neighboring countries. Ukraine's western neighbors include Poland, Romania, Slovakia which are all members of NATO.
World War 3 - a sign of the Lord's return
The World War 3 must happen to pave the way for the rise to power of one global leader, the Antichrist. I believe the Antichrist will appear amidst a very chaotic world to bring order and false peace. He will come when the world longs for the coming of one world leader to bring an end to all wars. In such a time like that, he will receive a warm welcome from the people of the world. They will look up to him as their savior, their messiah. Revelation 13:1 reveals his coming and Daniel 7:7 reveals the coming of his reign.
It is written in the Book of Daniel (Daniel 11) and Revelation (Rev 13), before Christ come to reign for a thousand year in the Millenium, the Antichrist will be given a certain period to reign (1260 days or 42 months.) during the Tribulation period.
A prophecy of a 90 year old Norwegian woman
I heard a prophecy of a 90 year old woman from Norway about the timing of the Harpazo (Rapture). Based on the vision she received, the Lord's return for His church takes just before the outbreak of World War 3. This prophecy was received in 1968, more than fifty years ago. The old Norwegian woman had received a series of visions about things that will take place from that time until the outbreak of World War 3. These visions include the moral degradation of society, the rise of violence and crime, lukewarmness of the church, proliferation of prosperity and success Gospel, watering down of Gospel preaching, tremendous promiscuity of society, rise of immigration, the influx of people from third world countries to Europe, presence of multiple TV channels, period of peace. All these came to pass from 1968 up to our time. The only thing left unfulfilled in the vision is the sudden Rapture of the church and the outbreak of third world war.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine could escalate into WW3. Seemingly WW3 has become imminent in our time thus the Rapture of the Lord's bride, the church has also become more imminent. It is about time to prepare ourselves to become a chaste and radiant bride for the Lord. A radiant and glorious bride of Christ bears a great testimony for the Lord. She possesses a shining light that reflects the glory of Christ. She lives a blameless and an uncompromising life. She stands on the truth of the Word of God.
How to become a part of the 'Bride of Christ' ?
To become a part of the Bride of Christ, we must first acknowledge Christ as our personal Savior and Lord. To acknowledge Christ as Savior, we must first acknowledge our sinfulness or depravity. It is written in Romans 3:23;
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
We fell short of God's standard of righteousness which is perfect holiness. With our own kind of righteousness, we will never be saved as it is written in Isaiah 64:6:
"All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags."
God in His mercy and loving kindness, provided a way for us to be delivered from damnation. He sent Jesus, His son to die on the cross in behalf of us. Jesus died for us, that we who will put faith in Him will not be judged based on our sin but will receive forgiveness and redemption. It is written in Romans 6:23;
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
To receive forgiveness and the gift of eternal life, we must put our faith in Christ atoning work on the cross as the only acceptable sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sin. The death mentioned here does not refer simply to cessation of breath, but it refers to the second death mentioned in Revelation 21:8;
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexuallt immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars- they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.(Rev 21:8, NIV).
After acknowledging Christ as Savior, one must surrender his life to the Lord and abide in His light. It involves forsaking of the sinful, worldly and self-centered life. Christ says in the Gospel of John that He is the "Light of the world," that those who believe in Him should not remain in darkness. We must be willing to abandon the darkness of sin and the world.
This is Jesus promise for all true believers:
"My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am "
This passage reveals that before Christ return to rule for a thousand years in His Millenial Kingdom, He will first come for His bride, the church. This is the "Harpazo.," the Rapture of the church.
John 14:2-3 NIV
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;"
John 11:25 NIV
