How do I find myself?
How many times have we heard questions like this subtitle? What does it mean for us to "find ourselves"? It is not so much about how often we hear something, it's more about, whether we are internalizing and living up to the healthy messages we hear. What I mean is, when you discover your own way, you won’t even want to compare yourself to other people’s achievements. Thinking about what the next person is up to, is not healthy for anyone. It is better to praise and congratulate them. Instead, we oftentimes find ourselves talking about all of the reasons something could never work for us.
When I say to you all, that it is never too late for something, whatever it is, I really mean it. Just think about it. Whatever it is that you wish you could accomplish, but you believe time will just get away, guess what? Time will get away anyway. So please guys, put forth the effort to make a change. It is not as hard to achieve as you may think.
So in this article, I will list some step-by-step tips to use. Use them one, by one. Take your time, bit by bit, one step at a time.
Set your mind, never consider "restrictions"
Follow these steps!
- Reflect. Decide who you want to become. Without any thoughts of restriction.
- Get a piece of paper and a pen.
- Make a heading. The heading will say… “I am a_____________.
- Now, think about who you have chosen to be. Take your time.
- Number your paper from 1-10.
- Write down ten qualities that this chosen condition requires, but you currently do not possess.
- Now that you have chosen 10 qualities, pick one. Chose one to focus on for now.
- Remember that working hard won’t help, working smart is your new lifestyle.
- Create a daily ritual around the one quality you chose. (mirror speech, sticky notes, etc)
- Use visualization daily. Incorporate a heightened emotion into it. This will lead you to the correct action to take.

Your new lifestyle will be done.
The previous instructions are for those of you that struggle with creating a new lifestyle. These instructions will help you to build your “Rome”. After you have created your list of ten characteristics, choose one to focus on at a time. Don’t watch the time, just feel your way through improvement. When you feel yourself getting comfortable with that first characteristic, move on to the next one on the list. By doing this, you are literally re-building yourself. Don’t forget to visualize as well. Your subconscious mind will lead you to this place. You will not know the correct course of action to take without visualizing it first.
Trust and enjoy the process.
When you are patient with the process and enjoy what you are doing, you will not worry about how long it will take to get yourself “there”. To achieve your goals, you have to change your lifestyle around. The lifestyle you are living will not permit your achievement because it is not a vibrational match. As I mentioned in the last article, cliches are so true and important. How many times have we heard the saying, “ Be the change you want to see”? Well, yes, that is exactly what we must do. Our outer world is a reflection of our dominant thought process and feelings.
Move mountains, the Universe supports you!
Needless to say, over time this won’t be a problem for you in the least bit. Daily rituals are what embed these new ideas into you. Choose the type of person you want to be wisely. The characteristics you will be practicing will soon become who you are! No need to take my word for it, test it out for yourself.
