Change the Way You See God and Change Your Life

After years of walking with God, if He says to you that, “You don't know Me.” how would you feel?

NOT GOOD... Well….woah...what are you talking about?

Yes, that’s exactly what my reaction was.

We all have a traditional image of God. Serious, stern and old. But, is that true? Is God an old and strict grandfather who only is looking for our shortcomings? Waiting for us to backslide, so that He finds a good reason to say to us, “Get out, you are unworthy.” “You never obeyed me, you hurt people and now you want me to bless you, heal you? It’s never going to happen.”

Is that how you expect Him to react whenever you pray to Him?

Well, I was also like you. Or maybe a part of me is still the same. I have to admit I am only beginning to change that viewpoint.

One day I was very much worried about some things in my life that were entirely off-track and I did not have any direction. At midnight God woke me up. I opened my Bible and began to read from the book of Isiaiah. Those scriptures were about the greatness of God and how He is able to start rivers in the desert and can make ways in the wilderness. God told me that day that I don’t know Him.

For a moment I was shocked, but later I felt loved. Through the scriptures, He told me that He loves me and can do anything for me. That was really a breakthrough moment in my life. The next day He indeed made a way where there seemed no way AT ALL…

Years have gone by since then but I still remember how God showed His care for me and not only that, He did supernatural things for me.

God Is a Good Good Father

It made me believe that no matter what happens, God is a good Father to me.

Today, God is telling you the same. Stop imagining Him like an angry and fault-finding God. He loves you.

The word of God says,

Christ died for us when we were still sinners.

God sent His son not for people who were so-called righteous or holy.

Just think about it, if anyone is able to follow God wholeheartedly, there is no need for Him to come and die on the cross.

Rather, as the scripture says that no one is without sin, Jesus came so that He could take the punishment and condemnation of our wrong deeds.

He came so that He could make us right with God.

If you have put your trust on Jesus and believe that He died for your sin, then my friend you are a new creation.

Old things have passed away and everything in your life is now new. Don’t carry the baggage of your past and stay alienated from your heavenly Father.

Remember the day when you gave your life to God for the first time?

There was a great party in heaven and God the Father rejoiced over you.

He still loves you. Even if you blew it He doesn't care about it. He sees you forgiven, righteous and holy.

Stop worrying about your holiness and righteousness. Because your righteousness is in Heaven-Christ.

“being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

Nothing Depends on You

You only have to rest in the truth that your sins have been removed on the cross for eternity. Now, you are righteous through Christ and rightful heir of the kingdom of God.

If you are worried about your present standing or thinking about judgment, let me break this for you.

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. (Romans 5:1-2 NLT)

Whenever you have any confusion, go by the word of God. See for yourself, you have been made right in the sight of God NOT by you being good but through the sin offering of Christ Himself.

What does the word say about your present status? It says that after being justified by faith you, now, stand on the favored ground. It means through Jesus Christ you are entitled to blessings that are undeserved, unmerited and unearned.

My friend, I am writing this because for years I thought that I disappointed God and He is not pleased with me any more. That thought kept me away from my Father who never stopped loving me, even when I was at my worst. As a consequence, I began to drift away from Him, my relationship with Him was affected and I missed many blessings that He kept for me.

God Is Not Counting Your Sins Against You

One day as I was feeling condemned and asking for forgiveness, I heard the Holy Spirit tell me why are you asking for forgiveness for the sin that is already forgiven? That point of time, I did not understand, but later God opened Scriptures to me.

16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” 17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” (Hebrew 10:16-17)

Did you read that, my friend? No more...He will remember your mistakes no more...

Listen to me, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. All your sins, PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE are forgiven. Once and for all.

And not only you receive a promise of heaven but a promise of days of heaven on earth.

After you welcome Jesus in your life, you are made right with God. And as the word says, NOTHING means NOTHING can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37-39).

Now my friend, come boldly to the throne of Grace and receive your miracle from your Heavenly Father.

As it is written,

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32)

Hey my dear brothers and sisters, when God gave you heaven’s best His only begotten Son for you, why will he withhold the other blessings of prosperity, provision, healing, life-partner, business, family and career from you.

Trust me, only God knows the price He had to pay for getting all of us back to Him. All these things are small in front of Jesus, His beloved Son. He paid a heavy price for our souls and all these blessings. Now it's your turn to honour Him by receiving all He has done for you only by faith.

He doesn't expect anything in return from you. He wants you to enjoy what He has paid for. That’s it!
