Salvation Comes From Jesus

Hi! My name is Jannah! Welcome back to my blog! Stay a while if you’d like to hear my thoughts and opinions about certain topics.

Why Would You Want To Live Without Jesus? More Importantly, Why Would You Want To Die Without Him?

What’s going on with the world is not something that surprises me as a Christian. My Savior prophesied all that is coming to pass before our very own eyes. In Matthew 24:6-7 (KJV) Jesus is talking about rumors of wars, nations rising against nations, kingdoms rising against kingdoms. He also talks about pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes.

The end to this earth is coming and it’s coming very soon. The most wonderful part about the end is that as Christians, we will have a new beginning, a new way of living with Jesus.

The awful part about the end is that if you are lost, you will never see the glorious plans that Jesus has for this earth, never see Him reign on this earth at it‘s most peaceful time.

You’ll miss out on so many things.

Not only will you miss a lot, you will be in a place that most people try so hard to deny is a real place. I wished it weren’t a real place. But the reality is, Hell is a very real, very torturous place that you can never leave once you’re there.

Hell is a place for sinners. The punishment for sinning is in the lake of fire according to the Bible. So if you’ve ever lied, stolen, cheated, said a bad word, thought a bad thought, drink alcohol, taken drugs, killed someone, hated someone, committed adultery, lied with mankind as with womankind, you will have your part in the lake of fire according to God’s word.

That sums up just about everyone in the whole world. No one can ever say they haven’t done at least one of these things in their lifetime, if they do, they are lying. And in Romans 3:23 the Bible says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (KJV)

BUT you don’t have to go to Hell.

The Bible states in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (KJV)

The wages of your sin is death. Death = Hell. But if you noticed, the rest of the verse speaks about Eternal life being through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is your only way out of Hell: the place you deserve to go. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God. He came to die on the cross for your sins so you wouldn’t have to go to Hell. He made a way for you to be free from the wages of your sin.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 4 “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 3 And that he was burried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

Now you may be asking. How do I receive this free gift? How can I be set free from my sins?

The answer is very simple. As simple as ABC’s

Accept that you are a sinner.

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and died on the cross for your sins and rose again the third day. Believing on Jesus Christ as your Savior means that you have faith that He died for you, paid the price for your sin, and is the only only way to Heaven.

Call upon Him to be your Savior. Romans 10:9-10

9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.(KJV)

If you want to accept Jesus into your life today, you certainly can!

Pray this prayer sincerely to Jesus.

“Dear, Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and that I deserve Hell. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, and rose again. I pray for you to come into my heart and save me.”

If you have prayed and accepted Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior, you are saved! You are born into the family of God now and forever!

Romans 10:13 “For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (KJV)

Hi Jannah,

I enjoyed your article very much and when I got down to the paragraph beginning with - Hell is a place for sinners, it made me think, I must leave a comment on this article.

That paragraph, while it's true, I was hoping that you would've added a little more to it for the sake of sinners like me, you and everyone else. And the reason I'm saying this is because you left out some valuable information that might benefit others - perhaps inadvertently. There are many verses that tell us as sinners, IF we confess our sins and afterwards repent - which is changing your direction, we can thankfully be forgiven as none are without sin in our lives, not one. And God has made it available through the mercy seat in prayer.

Romans 11: 22, 23 are particularly meaningful to me - especially 23.

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in His goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

And another reason it needed to be included also is that not all have Christian views and there are some who may be thinking - I would like to be saved but my sins are too great, God will never forgive me. We both know that confession leads to repentance and that it's a requirement for salvation and there is nothing difficult about salvation - man makes things difficult and you've already mentioned how simple it is in Romans 10: 9, 10.

If I have misinterpreted your message, I sincerely apologise.
