Covid-19 - It May Not Be What You Think It Is

A Short Note from the Author

As we discuss this topic, I realize many will not see behind the scenes. I realize many will disagree with my conclusions. You are entitled to that. Still, I ask you to consider the following with an open mind. My heart truly goes out to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 Virus - those who have suffered from the disease and to those who have lost loved ones to Corona. In no way do I wish to belittle the reality of what is taking place throughout the world.

The Lie

The Corona Virus is a smokescreen for something more sinister taking place behind the smoke. Have you heard the lie? It goes something like this: America is not equipped to handle the COVID-19 Virus It is unprecedented in its scope and power. This is something new, and we don’t know how to handle it.

You’ve heard it before in one form or another. But is it true? To a lesser degree, America has faced these issues before with the Swine Flu, HIV, SARS, and other outbreaks. But am I to believe that America is really unprepared to face the high numbers of COVID-19 cases?

The Influenza Pandemic of 1918 says otherwise. The pandemic left the world with 500,000,000 infections, 1/3 of the world’s population at the time. It left behind 50,000,000 deaths.

What about the Asian Flu of 1957? It brought 1.1 million deaths worldwide, and 116,000 deaths alone in the United States. Still, the N3H2 Virus of 1968 caused 1,000,000 deaths worldwide with 100,000 taking place in the US.

For the past 20 years, America has averaged 57,000 deaths from Pneumonia. That’s not cases. That’s deaths. That's every year. Yet nothing is ever mentioned. I simply ask the question, Why?

I understand the following conditions are not contagious, but if we are considering the numbers, let me share these.

Cancer - In 2018, an estimated 1,735,350 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States and 609,640 people will die from the disease. (Cancer.gov)

Smoking - 443,000 die each with an additional 49,000 dying prematurely from second-hand smoke (CDC.com). That is more than alcohol, cocaine, heroin, homicide, suicide, car accidents, fire, and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) combined. Nearly one in five deaths in the United States can be attributed to smoking tobacco.

Coronary disease - takes the lives of 500,000 Americans each year. The CDC reports 200,000 cases could be prevented.

Abortion - just to throw this one in (and remember, it is still a free society and I'm entitled to my thoughts as much as you are). In the US 862,320 babies were aborted in 2018, (the most recent figures I could find). Since 1973 there have been a total of 60,754,254 loss of lives from abortions.

In the end, all these millions are dead. Corona Virus isn't worse than any other disease. Statistically, deaths from COVID-19 are not near as high.

The COVID-19 Statistics

The current population of the world is approximately 7,797,738,850 and growing. As of May 8, the number of deaths in America is 44,016; Worldwide it is 87,729.

That means that 1.12% of the world’s population has died due to the Corona Virus. That also means that you have a 98.88% chance of not dying and with each passing day, the disease is dying out.

There are 9,932,623 cases worldwide. That means that 7,787,806,227 people are left untouched.

So why all the panic? Why are we to believe this is more serious than other pandemics we have faced? Yes, it may spread faster, but the statistics speak for themselves.

Oh, and the social distancing?

Oh, and the social distancing?

Raising the Fear Level

What is the purpose of wearing masks, anyway? They don’t prevent germs from spreading. They may cut down on the escape somewhat, but in the long run, they are inefficient. Neither do they keep you from breathing in germs.

According to Today.com, "When worn correctly, a surgical mask sits firm around a person’s cheeks, nose, and chin, but it’s not a tight seal and it’s relatively easy to breathe through the mask and around the edges.” That you are breathing through the mask should be telling. Obviously that means your germs are going out and others are coming in.

Although there is an exchange of air to a degree, for the most part, a person wearing a mask is breathing his own carbon dioxide. It’s no wonder our bodies heat and we get headaches when wearing a mask for a prolonged period.

covid-19-it-may-not-be-what-you-think-it-is

Where does the six-feet social distancing rule come from? Large respiratory droplets containing pathogens like influenza can travel up to six feet when a sick person coughs or sneezes, according to the CDC, but is that sufficient? Scientists at MIT have determined that smaller droplets can travel 2.5 meters (over eight feet) and smaller airborne droplets can carry up to 13-20 feet (The Journal of Fluid Mechanics).

So what’s the deal? Is social distancing really about safety or is it about conditioning? - conditioning society to live separately, to break up the social order that has always existed, thus making it easier for government control. I know this sounds crazy, but could it be?

Government Manipulation? You decide.

This is taken from the CDC website. In their own words they have added other diseases to the COVID-19 count: "Based on death certificate data, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia, influenza or COVID-19 (PIC) decreased from 21.0% during week 17 to 10.6%."

Certainly, it’s good to see the numbers decreasing, but do you see what they have done? Other diseases are part of the COVID-19 death count. They have manipulated the numbers. I believe, the purpose is to add fear and panic to an otherwise normal health issue.

covid-19-it-may-not-be-what-you-think-it-is

Hospitals and doctors are being paid big bucks to include other diseases with the COVID count. I wonder why the government is so interested in keeping the death count high.

I know, I know. Many of you won’t accept this. That’s okay. That’s your choice under a free society, but what if the pandemic was part of something bigger, something to undermine a free society? Something to aid the revealing of the New World Order under a one-world dictator? Impossible? So was 9/11. So was the COVID-19 pandemic. Both events have changed the world as we once knew it.

Are We Being Prepared to Accept Martial Law

Quarantine - A condition, period of time, or place in which a person, animal, plant, vehicle, or amount of material suspected of carrying an infectious agent is kept in confinement or isolated in an effort to prevent disease from spreading.

Tyranny - Unjust or oppressive governmental power

I'm not blaming the COVID-19 disaster on Trump. I'm not saying someone else could do a better job. It is what it is. I am saying the government has overstepped its authority. Are we being prepared for martial law?

We have been told the nation is under quarantine. Are we? The above definition (thefreecictionary.com) clearly spells out what quarantine is. Quarantine applies only to those who are sick. It becomes tyranny when healthy people are locked away, their livelihoods are removed, and they are placed under travel restrictions, to name a few.

With our fundamental rights being removed, how far are we from martial law - or maybe we're already there? I suspect things will clear up temporarily, but it will be back - more deadly than before.

Hi, Denise.

I'm sorry to hear about your family members. The disease is real and powerful and acts without discrimination. Of course, we knew the second wave was scheduled to hit, which it did and has affected so many people. I do believe the numbers are grossly exaggerated for many reasons. A month or so ago the CDC showed actual numbers of deaths caused by COVID-19 alone as being less than 10,000. It seems that so often when a person dies from the virus they already had a pre-existing condition which means the cause of death reported as the coronavirus was actually the result of cancer, heart failure, etc. For each death reported, hospitals receive up to $13,000 as compensation. I know for a fact, doctors are intentionally falsifying death certificates listing COVID as the cause when, in fact, it wasn't. It's real. It's out there, but it's greatly overplayed, I believe, for political purposes. Thanks for checking in and for continuing to read The Marisol Deception.

Denise McGill from Fresno CA on October 27, 2020:

It may be many years before we know the true reasons behind things. This was updated in May, now that it is October do you feel things are different or more clear? The death toll is only now going down and that may surge again if people aren't careful. I've lost many family members already. I would love to have commented on the Marisol Deception 24 and 25 but as you know, the niche site has swallowed it up and I can't. I figure you have at least one more installment coming and I can't wait to read it.

Blessings,

Denise

Hi, Peg. Some of those rioters are paid to start the riots. Others just jump in. It's all political. Of course, this is an election year so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

Peg Cole from Northeast of Dallas, Texas on July 12, 2020:

It all makes perfect sense when you look at the real numbers, William. I fear that you might be right. That and all the riots and destruction that we're seeing might well be to usher in a new regime.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on July 12, 2020:

Sorry I missed your comment until now, Lawrence, and thanks for adding your thoughts. I had pneumonia in February - not a fun thing. I wouldn't be surprised we were both added to the COVID count. Thanks for stopping by, my friend!

Lawrence Hebb from Hamilton, New Zealand on June 22, 2020:

William

I wasnt sure if I'd read this hub before, but if I have and commented its been good to come back.

First I need to say COVID 19 is dangerous not necessarily because its as fatal as the others, but because its so highly infectious!

Also recent studies are showing that 80% of those who contract the disease (even those who show no symptoms) are very high risk of respiratory problems in later life. The studies showed that those who contract it suffer a 30% (on average) reduction in lung capacity.

Having said all that, when I was sick recently (pneumonia) everyone was saying "at least it wasn't COVID 19!" My reply was, "I wish it was, pneumonia is far worse!!"

Reality is while COVID 19 is highly contageous its only fatal in a small amount of cases, pneumonia left untreated is fatal in 100% of cases!

You're welcome Umesh.

Umesh Chandra Bhatt from Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, India on June 22, 2020:

Information at a very root level. Thanks.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on June 17, 2020:

Yes, Tamara. It is. I hope more people see what is really going on!

BBYCGN from Uninhabited Regions on June 13, 2020:

I am listening to it, right now (the video with the American flag on it)... Just listened to some of the Martial Law video, too! It is an eye-opener.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on June 13, 2020:

Hi, Tamara. There is definitely more than meets the eye, and few people will see it because they don't want to believe it. If you didn't set the above video, I encourage you to watch it. It's quite telling.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on June 13, 2020:

Thank you, Mary. You do the same!

BBYCGN from Uninhabited Regions on June 12, 2020:

This is a fascinating view on COVID-19, and one in which I find myself in agreement.

Due to my bewilderment and shock of this entire pandemic, I have been rather neutral on the subject, but I do think you are on to something.

And, of course, what you have written also is in alignment with biblical scripture, in my opinion.

Mary Gaines from Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island, Washington on May 29, 2020:

Very interesting information which I was not aware of regarding this aweful virus. Thank you for sharing it with us, and as always...stay safe!

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 23, 2020:

Thank you, Luis!

Luis G Asuncion from City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines on May 23, 2020:

I like the way you explain about COVID-19. God bless you always and stay safe.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 22, 2020:

Glad I made sense, Dora. That's something that doesn't always happen. Thanks for coming by and commenting.

Dora Weithers from The Caribbean on May 20, 2020:

You gave us lots to think about. The difference between quarantine and tyranny is enlightening at best. WOW! You do make sense, though.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 16, 2020:

Thanks for the info, Jim. I don't know much about it. I'll have to look into it. Glad you were able to stop by.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 16, 2020:

Hi again, Ruby. Thanks for the clarification.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 16, 2020:

Thank you, Mark!

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 16, 2020:

Hi, Tammy. Thanks for summing it up for me. Eventually, I want to write Part Two to this hub showing how it is possible for a one-world government, religion, and economy to rise from these ashes. It may be a while. I'm in the middle of a novel right now about the end times and how these things may come together. Thanks for adding your thoughts. I agree completely.

Ruby Jean Richert from Southern Illinois on May 15, 2020:

William, I don't watch CNN News either. They are both too bias. I watch the local news then watch the World News with David M. I believe he is a honest man who doesn't give his opinions on the subject.

Mark Tulin from Ventura, California on May 15, 2020:

Interesting logic and historical stats

Tamarajo on May 15, 2020:

Hi Bill,

You have provided some very interesting statistics that provoke a lot of questions, many of which you asked. I agree that is all quite disturbing on many levels.

I do see a behind the scenes agenda taking place. It is a conspiracy of evil that has been in the works since the fateful garden scene and we are experiencing the modern interpretation of its final fruit.

The course has been set. The path has been spiraling downward since the trade of alliances that was made at the tree. Mankind influenced by and in cooperation with evil has to get to the end of itself.

These events are most obviously part of that process. these events and governmental systems are providing the perfect platform for mankind and their rebellion against God to make their final push to the end by attempting to save itself apart from God and accountability to Him for our sins.

Humankind thinks that they can create their own Eden by creating a united world Babel that is based on algorithmic systems and governmental "controls" that they think will save them. All are masquerading as "good" ideas.

We can see from Scripture that God is going to let humankind give it a try and its His mercy that does so. The pattern in Scripture shows that God extends His mercy until "there is no remedy." His hand is stretched out until every one has been given their opportunity.

We cannot stop this moving train or where it is headed. It is a much bigger system than human governments. God knew this from the beginning. This is why He told us the details ahead of time so that we could clearly know that He still sits on the throne far above every principality, power, or human government no matter how dismal it may seem.

These events remind us that this world is not our home and we are here in this time and place for a specific purpose. May we be about discovering what that purpose is because its a part of God's plan.

May we remain faithful to our King of Kings through it all.

Ready or not here it comes.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 15, 2020:

I'm glad your life hasn't changed and remains intact, Bill. I wish I could say the same, but for me, that's not the case. And I doubt it will ever return to normal. I just need to learn to go with the flow.

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on May 15, 2020:

I don't know what I think it is, with regards to your title. :) I'm a recluse by nature, so social distancing is my natural state. I work from home, so that hasn't changed. It might as well be 2019 for all of the change I've experienced because of COVID-19. Still, it's always interesting to read other viewpoints.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 15, 2020:

Hi, Ann. I like how you put it, "It is a balance between being wary and being paranoid that we have to face." That sums it up nicely. And, yes. That balance can be hard to achieve. Thanks for the visit and for adding your thoughts.

Ann Carr from SW England on May 15, 2020:

I have considered much of what you say above myself. It is a balance between being wary and being paranoid that we have to face. I fluctuate between the two now and then!

However, much of what we are asked/told to do is contradictory. I won't go into details as it would take far too long! One example is that here in England (not the UK!) children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 are probably going back to school in June. I'm a retired teacher and I fail to see how social distancing can be adequately practised in the playground (the clue is in the name 'play'ground). The devolved Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have decided to keep the 'stay at home' mantra rather than the new 'stay alert' (which is fluffy in itself). It's a long time since we had a 'united' kingdom!

I don't think there's a conspiracy but I do think that we are losing the ability to think for ourselves and decide what suits best our own personal scenarios. My partner and I have been saying for ages that the numbers are not so horrendous when you compare them to such as you mention above.

Yes it is awful and yes it is frightening at times, but we have to keep it in proportion and do a risk assessment each day before we go out the door.

Well done for setting this out in a rational manner.

Ann

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 14, 2020:

I'm glad you're thinking, Ruby. We all have our opinions and you are certainly entitled to yours. This I've found - I can't trust CNN to bring the facts. But hey, life goes on. God is definitely in control, and to that, we can both agree. Glad you were able to stop by!

Ruby Jean Richert from Southern Illinois on May 14, 2020:

I don't know what to think. Your statistics are alarming. I started to watch the video and saw that it was Fox News, Hannity, Tucker Carlson. I turned it off, talk about someone being bias. Their hate for President Obama when he was in office was un bearable. I do know this, God is in control, nothing happens that he is not aware of. I know that in the end times we will have a so-called world order because the bible speaks of it, so maybe we are reaching that time? Your article makes some sense to me. I do believe if Trump could take control, he would. His love for power and his egocentric disposition proves that. At least you have got me thinking about the end of time, and to be ready to meet God. The number of abortions committed makes me sick, precious babies. Take care my friend.

William Kovacic (author) from Pleasant Gap, PA on May 14, 2020:

All good and valid questions, Eric. I never of the "driving a wedge" theory before. You may be on to something. In the meantime, I think it's good to stay safe. Just remove the fear and panic, and the overdone arguments that don't hold up.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on May 14, 2020:

I will be back as this is very interesting.

But my wife and I just argued. She says stay safe and I say let us get right back on track. She cites news and I cite statistics like here.

Just say that that is stereotypical. maybe it is.

So is this method driving a wedge in families like the civil war. Is it designed to diminish a historic role of fathers? Will worry prevail over truth?

Just some thoughts.
