The Book of Acts:The First Century Church in Action

Jesus told the eleven Apostles (Matthias would be the twelfth later on), “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." In the book of Acts when the Holy Spirit came upon them the Church was born as they were endued with power to carry out God's plan. The book of Acts is a breathtaking play-by-play story of the great commission being played out by the apostles and those who became Christians through their ministry.

The Events of Chapter 1

For each question, choose the best answer. The answer key is below.

Chapter 2: The Day the Holy Spirit Came
