Over three decades ago I become interested in the Bible, having drank from the heavenly cup once, I have not been tired to drink more
I have in the previous article elucidate further from where the man gets his understanding and why. I will continue with the exegesis here.
5. Outcome of What He did
He was doing what he was doing purely and simply without any strings attached, however he started noticing the followings come along his path.
(a) Changes in His Life
As he gives his life to God’s testimony within and without, he discovers that solutions come unto whatever he is doing,
(b) Assistances Received
He discovers that whenever he desires assistances and help, they will come to him without stress.

(c) Enemies Silenced
He discovers that what the enemies used to use against his teachers, what the enemies used to use to corner his teachers, putting them on a tight leash they cannot do that for him because of the testimony that has been his watchword.
You will recall that when a child, our elder siblings will use some things to cajole us, or to put us in fear so that we do what is not in our heart to do for them, but when we grow up when those elder siblings try such we would not listen to them because we have gotten more wisdom and understanding into issues of life.
This is similar to how enemies act, they harass some people with certain things, but when they used such thing for this man, he was not moved because of the understanding he has gotten, when others are being moved, he was not moved in the Lord.
We need to get to such status that we shall know the deceptions of the devil as the apostle says we are not ignorant of the devices of the devil.
“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Cor. 2:11)
Until we know the word of God, we shall always be ignorant of the devil’s devices and he will constantly take advantage of us.
(d) More Understanding
The word understanding is written in Hebrew as “שׂכל” which when romanticized becomes śâkal (phonetic spelling is saw-kal') which means intelligent, circumspect, wisdom, guide wittingly, skillful, prudent etc.
The man knows that the understanding he possesses none of his teachers possess such. Because of deliberate guidance he receives, the skill he possesses among other things. Some of which he can authoritatively say he has not learnt from them but he has received from God because of how he has been close to the testimony of God.
For us to become first among the equals on earth we have to cherish the testimony of God above all things in our lives, and when we do that, God will come to the scene as he has arose for the man to give us more, deeper and better understanding in all we do such that all who sees us cannot but appreciate and give glory to the Lord.
In the next article I shall talk about the next thing that the author says he receives of Yahweh which if anyone receives again would make him first among his equals.
