Attacking The Enemy Head On - Endure Hardness!

Endure all things and complete your Mission

Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones’ sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

In which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal.

But God’s word isn’t chained.

Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead-

of the seed of David.

According to my Good News,

Consider what I say and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.

Also, if anyone competes in athletics, he isn’t crowned unless he has competed by the rules.

No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.

You therefore must endure hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.

You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 Tim 2:-26

"I will set a sign among them, and I will send some of those who survive to the nations--to Tarshish, to the Libyans and Lydians (famous as archers), to Tubal and Greece, and to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations. Is 66:19

So then, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election certain, for if you keep on doing this you will never fail. 2 Peter 1:10

Did You Make it Through Boot Camp?

It's critical that we're skilled (prepared) in the Word of God. Too often Christians find themselves in the heat of the battle without ever graduating from boot-camp (preparing their hearts and their lives with the reinforcement of the knowledge of God's Word, or without being prayed up, or without listening to the guiding advice of the Holy Spirit).

Know the authority God has given you in this battle:

By standing firm you will gain life. Luke 21:19

We are going to have to learn what it means to buffet our bodies. So what does it mean? Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 1 Cor 9:25

Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. 2 Timothy 2:5

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Tim 4:7-8

No, I keep on discipline my body, making it serve me so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified.

American Standard Version-but I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

Battle Clothes On

Now that you've made it out of boot camp you have learned and obtained your battle clothes and gear to be successful able to engage the enemy and overcome.

You know endurance and standing in faith trusting God to fight your battles is the strongest stance to take in life's battles and the one's sent to abort the call of God on your life.

Paul definitely confirms that we are in a war!

And that the weapons we have at our disposal are not physical ones, such as guns, knives or physical actions, but spiritual weapons. What are these weapons? Spiritual weapons, which are mighty, when used right insures our victory by God for the purpose of pulling down of strongholds, which is any area of your life where Satan has lied, deceived, threatened you, and you bought into it. If unchecked, this can become a very large stronghold that might result in terrible consequences ... divorce, suicide, etc. Putting on the armor of God is not passive. Putting on the armor is not something that is done automatically when you accept Christ. We are given the armor of God because of what Christ has done for us, but He gives us the command to put it on. But we are told to put on specific pieces which cover or protect us in the areas where our enemy attacks.

Eph 6:10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.= trust completely.11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.=obey and resist the devil.12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.= our true enemy 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.= you can only stand in God's armour. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;=Know the word of God and do what is right. 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;= Spread the Gospel of Jesus16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.= Believe, trust and rely on God.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:= Jesus Christ the word of God, we live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, We live in Jesus and Jesus in us, the word of God spoken destroys the enemy's power to stop us. 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;= Pray by the Holy spirit and intercede in prayer for the whole body of Christ as you are led consistently to do so. 19And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,= Pray that those God has assigned to you will receive the Gospel of Jesus and that the gospel will run full course, pray for complete revelation of Jesus Christ. 20For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.= Even though I am in a great battle because of my boldness in Jesus Christ, pray that I do not stop and I press toward the high call in Jesus and complete my race and hear

"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' Matt 25:21

Are You Battle Ready?

See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant." Jer 1:10

When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the LORD your God and rescued from your enemies. Num 10:9

He shall say: "Hear, O Israel, today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be terrified or give way to panic before them. Duet 20:3

Oh, my anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart! My heart pounds within me, I cannot keep silent. For I have heard the sound of the trumpet; I have heard the battle cry. Jer 4:19

Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle? 1 Cor 14:8

David proved himself to be one of the anointed warriors of Israel. He did not fight in his own might but with the power of the Spirit. The Philistine commanders continued to go out to battle, and as often as they did, David met with more success than the rest of Sauls officers, and his name became well known (I Sam. 18:30, NIV).

The officers of Saul were also men of war, but David alone had more success than all of them, inflicting enormous damage on the Philistine armies. Now, the officers of Saul were part of Israel (the people of God), fully armed for battle. But they did not play a vital part in helping win the wars. In fact, David had more success than all of them.

Sauls army represents those in ministry who fight in the fleshmen of war that trust more in their skills and abilities than in the Holy Spirit. As a result, they lack Gods power. Sauls army demonstrated that they lacked the real thing by taking the following attitude: When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid (1 Sam. 17:11. See 17: 24).

Davids reaction to Goliath was the exact opposite, because he trusted in the power of the Holy Spirit. The devil does not respect our abilities, only the anointing of the Spirit of God. The anointed warrior does not fight in his own strength, rather in the strength of God; he learns submission to the influence of the Holy Spirit and becomes a powerful instrument in Gods hands.

Those who fight in the flesh make a lot of noise but lack results. Jesus said it clear: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6). Only what is born of the Spirit works in the kingdom of God.

War Cry

Pick Up Your Weapons and Never Lay Your Weapons Down!

Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows. Neh 4:13

From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows and armor. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah Neh 4:16

Who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other Neh 4:17

The outward appearance of the warrior is not what counts either (When David killed Goliath, he didn't look anything like a soldier). What truly counts is the Spirit that works and moves in and with us. For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance (Ps 44: 3). It is not because of our sword or our might that we conquer the land. It is because of the power of Gods Presence.

Another problem of those who fight in the flesh is: they fight battles trying to win. On the other hand, the anointed warrior fights in a battle that has already been won. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (Col 2:15). So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit (John 19:30).

The Son of God already won the victory. The defeat of the devil is an act finished on the cross, a legal contract nothing can be added or taken. It is finished!

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4

then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear. Job 11:15

In most wars there will be some losses will represent the death in victory and sadly others do not. Some will die because of failure to use wisdom that was given to them by there heavenly Father. Others because they did not know Jesus and didn't know His voice and went of course into the danger zone and died. Also without knowing your weapons and using them so you may stand. You've already taken a position of defeat. The only time were supposed to die is when we have completed our mission, the mission of our call from God. All of us were not intended to die young, to be martyred and to live bound by this world's system. We all live in different places and have different calls. A lot of people in other countries will die just for excepting Jesus and standing for what they believe and we pray for them. Others have more freedoms and are still required to stand and Battle in the spiritual realm for the souls of those who will accept Jesus and be the martyred in revelation. In the United States there is the most freedom so far to this day. In order to get freedom we must fight and stand as God has commanded us to. If we want to keep our freedoms we must be alert and and stand strong in the Lord. As His body with many parts, different calls in the same spirit of the Lord we all will have victory. Some are called to have the victory while on earth before the final victory of death. We will see the blessings of God on the end time disciples and prophet of God. All of it and the opening of the windows of heaven releasing blessings of the spiritual and physical are for the end time harvest. Those that do and are warring in the spirit through prayer, praying in the Holy Spirit. We are to prophesy and walk in authority. We are always humble before God, we are to walk in His power at the same time and be bold.

Jesus needs us to trust him and stand in his power to spread the gospel to all four corners of the earth. We are his body, his seed, hands, feet, voice- the ones that he has sent. Because we are many we will bare much fruit for Jesus - as Jesus call it greater works. Great is he (Jesus) that is in me then he (satan) that is in the world.

1 Corinthians 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Ephesians 1:23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Ephesians 4:12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up

Ephesians 5:30 for we are members of his body.

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Look up these verses in regard to the mind (or heart), which will help you understand Satan's primary target better:

Full Force Ahead- Combat The Enemy Head On!

Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle? 1 Cor 14:8

As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. 1 Sam 17:48

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment - This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! Ps. 149:6-9.

"After that you will go to Gibeah of God, where there is a Philistine outpost. As you approach the town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, tambourines, flutes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying. 1 Sam 10:5

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

And do not give the devil a foothold. Eph 4:27

For in thee I will run girded: With your help In your strength I can advance and run against a troop, I can attack a line of soldiers, crush an army, with my God I can scale and leap over a wall, I can break through barricades,By your help I have made a way through the wall which was shutting me in. Sam 22:30

I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. Ps 3:6

me round about. Ps 3:6

In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For Thou alone, O LORD, dost make me

to dwell in safety. Ps 4:8

And those who know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; For Thou, O

LORD, hast not forsaken those who seek Thee. Ps 9:10

I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I

will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will

dwell securely. Ps 16:8-9

Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise

against me, In spite of this I shall be confident. Ps 27:3

I sought the LORD, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fear. Ps 34:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Ps 23:4

When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. Deut 20:1

Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident. Ps 27:3

"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:19-20).

All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the LORD I cut them off. Ps 118:10

Victory in Christ

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. 1 Peter 4:8-11

Everyone of us will have our own set of obstacles in life and in order to overcome them in victory we must trust God. There is victory in every situation that we appear defeated in. When we are having trails and tribulation in our life God has always promised to give us victory. The teat of our faith brings out endurance, the endurance we will need for the future. We live faith to faith, and God takes us from glory to glory. The weakest times in our lives our when we are week and in need. That's when God want's us to show the world how to trust Him and see results. Our testimonies of what God has done and also what He will do proves that we are nothing without Him and His sustaining power. Yes we depend on God for everything, we are weak by our total reliance on Him. When God shows up and shows His goodness through us we boldly in confidence tell you of His goodness. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. As you can see none of us our perfect except God. This is how you can see and believe if He did it for one us He will also do the same for you. All that is required is faith to believe what you don't yet see, but believe the word of God.

If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master’s use, prepared for every good work.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.> Rom 12:21

Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones’ sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Our victory in Jesus to live a life of victory! God's power is limitless!

I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world" (Matthew 28:18-20).

Jesus gave us the command to carry on His work. It's a command, not an option. It's non-negotiable. So put on your armor, take up your sword, and GO -- for the Word tells us in Matthew 16:18 that "even the gates of hell shall not prevail against you"!

"Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." Rev 2:10
