To satisfy my curiosity, I have researched many different subjects that pique my interest. The following article is based on my own research
Are we alone?
One of the greatest mysteries of all time is whether or not humans are the only intelligent life form in the universe. Whether you believe in extra terrestrials or not, the following evidence is hard to ignore.
Biblical Origins of Aliens
The first thing to address while making a case for extra terrestrial life is where aliens originated. The earliest hint of an alien origin is referenced in the most published book in history - the Christian Bible. According to Biblical scripture the earth is only 6,400 years old. Since many events that have occurred in the Bible have been proven to have actually happened, we will base our following observations on facts outlined in the Bible. Whether you believe in it or not, the Bible actually makes a pretty good case for possible alien origins.
First, I'm going to pose the question, "Are humans the only only intelligent life form created in the bible"? If you answered yes to this question, consider the following verses:
"And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, the sons of God (known as angels), saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh; yet his days shall be numbered to a hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days: and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." - Genesis 6:1-7 (KJV)
This brings us to our first stopping point. Could the statement "men of renown" mean that these beings were much more advanced than their counterparts, the humans, giving them the capability of producing great feats that we thought weren't possible until the 20th century? Could this explain how advanced structures such as the pyramids and the Sphynx were built because of their advance technological skills?
Genesis continues on, saying:
"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil, continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made men on earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."
Notice here that it doesn't say that he destroyed the angels who fell from his sight. Could these fallen angels have had the ability to survive the great flood? This brings us to the subject of the Lord of Air and War, Baal.
Baal was supposedly a god of ancient times. Sometimes letters were added to the end of his name to classify the domain which he reigned over, including zebub, meaning "of the air". Hence we get the name Baalzebub or Beelzebub, meaning "Lord of those who fly".
With that being said, we can assume that beings that dwell in the atmosphere or above the earth fall under the reign of Beelzebub, also known as Satan, as described by God in Matthew 10:25. The notion that Satan's domain, Hell, exists in the underworlds of the earth are actually never documented in the Bible. Having said that, these fallen angels, also called Nephilim in the Jewish translation, were thought to become the followers of Satan. By establishing that we can come to the conclusion that they did, in fact, survive the flood. We know this because demons were still mentioned throughout the New Testament. So what is the significance of knowing these fallen ones became minions of Satan?
Matthew 24:38 states in the words of Jesus Christ:
"So as the days of Noah were, so shall be before the coming of the son of God".
This brings us back to where we started in Genesis, where it states "In those days, Giants, also known as Nephilim, were in the earth, the men of renown of whom ancient tales are told". We also read in Genesis that these fallen angels came to earth to breed with the daughters of men. Having said that, there has been one alleged account of an Italian woman who claims that she has been abducted, has several sightings and photos of UFO's, and was impregnated by another life form. This account was also documented in the news in Italy.
Are Aliens Really Demons in disguise?
As far as the earliest sighting documented, other than the previously mentioned verses from the Bible, there is no telling when the first contact may have been made after the flood. There have been several depictions and portraits in ancient art that closely resemble what we have come to recognize as an alien gray.
The accompanying photo is of a statue depicting the Goddess Nefertiti of ancient Egypt. There are several other portraits and statues of other gods and goddesses with the same elongated skull that can be easily found online. Many alien enthusiasts believe that the mass of the skull could allow for a larger brain, allowing aliens to be far more intelligent than any humans, which may have been the reason they were thought of as gods. Personally, I see no artistic value in making these skulls elongated, which makes it more believable that the beings in the drawings actually looked like this. Those are just pictures though, right?
In Peru, several skulls just like the ones depicted in the drawings, were uncovered. These definitely do not look like any human I have ever seen. So unless these are the ancient ancestors of Dan Aykroyd from the classic "Coneheads" skit on Saturday Night Live, it looks like we have a non-human species here.
There are several "word of mouth" claims that aliens exist, but most are far too in depth to fit into one article. Some of the most noted claims come from former astronaut, Edgar Mitchell, who has been in interviewed multiple times. In one interview he was asked if he believed that there were other life forms other than humans in our universe. He answered, "Yes absolutely, in fact I know that we have been in communications with other terrestrials for some time now". Could he be referring to the famed historical cover up of "Area 51", where several who worked in the area have given statements of how they were told not to speak of it?
One of the latest believable documentations was in November 2006 when an unidentified flying object in the shape of a disc was reportedly seen by pilots, staff, and other spectators at the Chicago O'Haire Airport. The story was later broadcast CNN news in January of 2007. I can't think of why so many people of a reputable organization would fabricate such a story, as it would benefit none of them whether it was true or not.
Truth or myth? You decide.
I can't say for certain that I believe in aliens, but I do believe their is something else out there that has not been made known to the general public. This article is merely food for thought. You can make your own decision whether to believe or not. These theories do, however, raise interesting questions. It has made me wonder even more and attempt research to find other possible ancient interpretations of these beings' existence. I, myself, would rather aliens not exist. I feel that if there was a life form out there with that advanced type of technology, we would all fall down a link on the food chain.

Aliens are definitely depicted in the Bible, Genesis 6 for sure. Then you have the book of Enoch which is just off the hook with Aliens. Great article.

If aliens do exsist I hope we can all live in peace as friends great hub makes you think

I've often wonder about this. Nevertheless, if God is an alien from another planet, universe or solar system, etc..., He's still God....
Thanks for sharing.

Really a fascinating subject. My theory is that our ancestors were criminals who were dumped here by law-abiding citizens of our original home. Once in awhile they swing by here and take a look, and go away to report, Yep, they're still fighting down there. Perhaps if we could ever find a way to co-exist in harmonious peace and prosperity, they might finally make themselves known to us.

Fascinating! Since you seem to be including angels and demons, I voted yes for aliens. Besides, in a vast universe (dare I say infinite?) created by an eternal God, why not other worlds and other life forms? But they don't worry me since the Lord rules the universe, so they can't get here unless He allows them.

As for 2012, there is a high probability that we will experience a terrible solar event that will destroy much of our communications systems, computers, car computers, and other electrical devices. The predicted date of worse case scenario is DEC 12, 2012, this by NASA and other scientists. It won't be the end of the world, but if it does happen, the world will be cast into the dark ages instantly. This, in many ways, will be the end of life as we know it. There is even the looming magnetic pole shift which has been foretold by ancients for centuries, which can happen on the same date. This is science relating to the sun's magnetic pole flip which will happen that year. Some scientists think the earth is getting ready for a pole shift which will cause all kinds of disasters to add to the loss of our electronics and power grids. Sounds a lot like the beginning of the tribulation to me. Ready or not, here it comes.

An interesting and thought provoking hub. I forward to read more on the topic as you conduct your additional research.

It does bring up a debate on creation. I don't deny there is a possibility that other beings are out there. Even the Bible has questionable passages that show others existed. Thanks for the comment eovery.

Why would God create only one earth where there is room for many?
Keep on hubbing!

Awesome hub! It really makes you think doesn't it? One cannot dismiss the idea of Aliens! What makes humans so special to think we are the only ones in the universe? I think it is more logical to believe aliens do exist!! Great Hub!!!

The Hindu vedas is historically the oldest set of writings, not the Bible. Though I understand it is in the Bible you will find text re aliens.

Hi, this is fascinating, I prefer to believe that the first woman in the video was scamming the story somehow, and I do remember reading about 'cone headed' people from thousands of years ago. The archaologists believe that the tribe involved were actually binding their babies heads to make the shape look odd. why I don't know, maybe a religious thing? but you never know it might well be true! great article, cheers nell
