Exploring my talent, putting it into use in the literary world for the benefit of humanity and promotion of communication
Searching through my old files couple of minutes back, I discovered this song which I composed in 1996 for the Youths of the church I was attending which I was the President of the youths.
On looking at the song composed, I was moved and I decided to edit it, add some other stanzas to it and publish it here because I know publishing it here makes it safer, and relevant as long as the world would be in existence...
The tune used for the composition is a common tune, however I have prerecorded it and share the link here also.
Instrumentalists Introducing the song
I will sing unto thee oh Lord
'Cause you triumphed gloriously
The horse and even its riders
Have you thrown into the sea
The Lord is my strength and my song
He's become my salvation
He's my God I will prepare
Sure habitation for him
The right hand oh Lord my God
Is become glorious in power
Even your right hand oh Lord
Dashed in pieces the enemies
You 've overthrown those who rise 'gainst you
In the greatness of your Excellency
Like a stubble you 've consumed them all
Alleluia to your Holy Name
Different musical 'nstruments will I use
To worship and bless your name
Yea I will bless you with my dance
Oh thou the everlasting Lord

You have written more sweet words, Olusegun. I am glad to know you worked with the youth as I think teaching young people is a wonderful calling.
