A Leaf Lying in The Mulch Took Flight

There was a little leaf lying in the mulch. And even though it felt subdued, there was a present touch. The hand, from which the touch extends, held that little leaf. Then carried it above the clouds into a blissful peace. There, among the soul-filled light, its soul would fill with awe. Love was overwhelming at the majesty it saw.

The joyful comfort all around gathered in that little leaf. And there it was, as light as air, no division, and no grief. The time was everlasting; there, no desire for it to stop! Then there came a knowing Breeze that swayed the leaf to drop. It supplied sweet nutrients to take back to the ground. Surrendered in obedience, it lowered to the mound.

The leaf was not the same once it traveled up above. Still, itself, it struggled to share that unique love. It longed and yearned for what to do while it was yet - a leaf. How could it be much different when the time there seemed so brief? It shared the sweet-filled nutrients to root as best it could. But the leaf would often seek the Breeze to see that it was good.

We are Never Alone The Breeze Will Guide the Way

Alone, the little leaf was weak, but the Breeze always came through. On many days the tired frond would feel kind of blue. But the Breeze would whisper thoughts of a fantastic long-past day. And all at once, the leaf was back to when it went away.

Then the little leaf excited as the memory would flow, how it danced, and then would settle, with no need to ever go. It rested in comfort with no wish to understand as the Breeze supplied the answers to all things within its plan. The leaf returned a vessel that would fill with empty air unless it sought the perfect Breeze to tell it how to share.

When the leaf would feel the Breeze pushing it to move, it often sparred within its heart to get into the groove. The little blade, distressing, would do its very best as it knew the awesome Breeze would surely do the rest! Some days the leaf would worry that this memory might fade. But then the Breeze reminds us that it will always stay.

Leaves Are Unique & Beautiful

Leaves Are Unique & Beautiful

Keep Your Focus on The Breeze

One day the leaf will rise again up to the clouds above. It hopes to use this time to share a selfless love. But there are days that little leaf sees lots of pain and such. But it wiggles as it prays, seeking thoughtful touch. There are moments as a leaf: the world seems out of tune. But then the Breeze swirls about making all things new.

Remember, up beyond the clouds is beauty, love, and light. The Breeze will carry all the leaves one day on their last flight! For now, a plate stays open, moving with the slightest nudge and reaching out to others to help them through the sludge. A leaf that knows the Breeze would tell you not to focus on the mulch. But preferably on the Breeze, and seek its perfect touch. The piles of this world are just a practice ground. The world is the stepping-stone to take flight off this mound.

So when the world troubles and seems all misconstrued.

Remember that the Breeze is there with much for you to do!

HOPE

There is beauty when our focus clears. I am the clearest when I feel the Breeze! Our world suffers division, but, we are not of this world. We can rise from the mulch and plant new seeds in our garden.

I hope we can love without condition.

I hope we can mend the broken fences.

I hope we will be a light wherever there is darkness.

I hope they will know our heart before our flesh.

I hope for a world of peace and progress within the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

In the year 2021, may we focus on the Breeze and live in the Hope of our future home.

I am comforted by the words of Amanda Gorman they seem like a beautiful place to start:

"There is always a light,

if only we are brave enough to see it.

If only we are brave enough to be it."

Sweet Dora,

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Sadly, some may misconstrue my timing of sharing. Having just come through yet another battle, it reminded me of a beautiful experience. I had to share.

Hugs and blessings
