It's a Wonderful day! A gift from God! An opportunity to start over, to continue something, or to finish what has been started. It is never too late to do what should be done. The only thing that is over and cannot be repeated is yesterday!
The Samaritan woman grasped what He said with fervor that came from an awareness of her real need. The transaction was fascinating. She has come with a bucket. He sent her back with a spring of living water.
She had come as a reject. He sent her back being accepted by God Himself. She came wounded. He sent her back whole.
She came laden with questions. He sent her back as a source for answers. She came living a life of quiet desperation.
She ran back overflowing with hope. The disciples missed it all. It was lunchtime for them. ~ Ravi Zacharias
The Christian faith, simply stated, reminds us that our fundamental problem is not moral; rather, our fundamental problem is spiritual.
It is not just that we are immoral, but that a moral life alone cannot bridge what separates us from God.
Herein lies the cardinal difference between the moralizing religions and Jesus' offer to us. Jesus does not offer to make bad people good but to make dead people alive. ~ Ravi Zacharias
[Proverbs 4:7, James 1:5-6]
"You can only learn so much from books. You can only learn so much from education. Ultimately, it is the wisdom of God that will carry you through in the toughest situations of life." ~ Ravi Zacharias
"There are four principles we need to maintain: First, read the Word of God. Second, consume the Word of God until it consumes you. Third believe the Word of God. Fourth, act on the Word." ~ Smith Wigglesworth
"Great faith is the product of great fights. Great testimonies are the outcome of great tests. Great triumphs can only come out of great trials." ~ Smith Wigglesworth
"God wants us so badly that he has made the condition as simple as he possibly could: Only believe." ~ Smith Wigglesworth
"There is a great destructive force that comes upon us when we start comparing ourselves in the flesh with what we could be spiritually.
We should never compare what we are with what we could be because we will always be down on ourselves when we do this. Just look to Jesus and what He is. As long as we look to Jesus we will go toward Him.
When we look at our inferiority we will go toward it." ~ Smith Wigglesworth
"God wants to supply your needs from a place you never expected, through people you never knew, in ways you never thought, but first you have to believe that it is possible.
Once you understand that His ability to meet your needs is bigger than your job or your business, you will find that your source of life is bigger than the resources that you have been accumulating." ~ Myles Munroe
"God’s love sets us free from the need to seek approval. Knowing that we are loved by God, accepted by God, approved by God and that we are new creations in Christ empowers us to reject self-rejection and embrace a healthy self-love.
Being secure in God’s love for us, our love for Him, and our love for ourselves prepares us to fulfill the second greatest commandment: To love our neighbor as ourselves." ~ Myles Munroe
[2 Corinthians 2:14-15]
"I’m washed, I’m forgiven, I’m whole, and I’m healed. I’m cleansed and I’m glory bound. I am only a sojourner on the earth. I am but a pilgrim on this planet, on my way to perfection, and I don’t need anybody to tell me who I am, because I know who I am.
I am a child of the King, a son (or daughter) of God, born again through Jesus Christ, bought with the price of His blood. I am a new creation, totally new, thoroughly loved, and completely accepted as a child of my Father, precious in His sight."
