Prayer is not only for pastors, priests and church leaders. Prayer is very necessary in the lives of Christians, in having a close relationship with God and involving Him in our daily lives. It is a two way communication, as we are talking to God and then we are listening to Him. Here are different types of the prayers found in the New Testament of the Bible.
THE LORD’S PRAYER
The Lord’s Prayer is stated in Matthew 6 and Luke 11:2-4 and it indicates a model of how believers should pray to God.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.11 Give us this day our daily bread.12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
In the Lord's Prayer, We first come to God and address Him as Father, 'Hallowed' is His Name, Pray for His Will be done in Heaven and Earth, Ask for daily bread, seek forgiveness for our sins as we forgive those who wronged us, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us for evil.- whatever in your life has been temptation for you, can be food, women, men, money, fame, addiction, etc, we can overcome.
MIDNIGHT PRAYER and PRAYER OF IMPORTUNITY
This is according to Luke 5:5-10 - It tells the parable of a person who came to his friend at midnight and refused to leave him till he received what he needed. In Luke 18:1-8 there is a similar parable of the woman who would not leave the `unjust' judge’ but persisted until he received a response.
Jesus is our friend and if we come to him at midnight, He will be there to hear our needs and heart. We should always be persistent in prayer for whatever battle we are facing, until we receive a breakthrough.
PRAYER OF AGREEMENT
In this prayer, two or more believers come together in agreement for the specific need or request being prayed for. This can be they are in agreement for healing for a sick friend, money to pay bills, a job, salvation for loved one, deliverance from addiction or whatever the need is. This prayer is based on Matthew 18:19, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
PRAYER TO MOVE MOUNTAINS
If there are delays, problems, circumstances that seem like mountains, that are standing in your way, then say to those mountains, be removed, and cast into the sea in the name of Jesus. (Mark 11:23)
Speak to your mountain of debt
Speak to your mountain of sickness
Speak to your mountain of discouragement, failure, fear, depression, or whatever it is

- 20 Things Christians should Know about the New Testament of the Bible
How well do you know the New Testament? Well, here are some important things I believe every Christian should know and need to know about the New Testament of the Bible.
JESUS PRAYER FOR HIS DISCIPLES
The Last supper Jesus was with his disciples and prayed three specific things. This is taken from John 17. The three things are to keep his disciples from the evil, Sanctify them through the Truth, which is the Word of God and that his disciples be one as He and the Father are one. This is a great prayer to pray for other believers and newly saved believers in the faith.
PAUL’S PRAYER FOR THE CHURCHES
Prayer to the Church of Ephesus
His prayer to the Ephesian church consisted of asking God to give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so they can know what is the hope of his calling and grasp his glory for all his saints, and the greatness of his word to those who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19) These prayers we can offer up to God pertaining for our own lives and the lives of our brothers and sister in Christ.
Prayer for the Church of Philippi (Phillippians 1:9-11)
This was the prayer that Paul prayed for the church of Philippi. He prayed that their love may abound more and more with knowledge and in all judgment(moral discernment in ethical matters); That they may approve things that are excellent; that they may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; May they all be filled with the fruits of righteousness- righteous character produced in you by Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God.
Prayer for the Church at Colosse (Colossians 1:9-12)
Paul asked that the church of Colosse be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10 so that you may lead lives worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, as you bear fruit in every good work and as you grow in the knowledge of God.
11 May they all be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power, and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light.
Church of the Thessalonians (II Thessalonians 1:11-12)
Paul's prayer for the church of the Thessalonians was that our God would count them worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in the, and them in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
All these prayers for the different churches can also be used to pray for our own church, body of believers we worship with and the churches in your community, state or country where you reside.
PRAYER OF FAITH
This prayer is stated on James 5:14-15 which shows that the elders of the church, pray over those who are sick and afflicted, anointing them with oil and then in verse 15, it shows what this prayer, 'the prayer of faith' should do for the sick and afflicted. It should save the sick and the Lord shall raise them up; and if they have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Very powerful advice and ones that work! I find prayer the key to getting answers to problems and strength to live daily. You have listed some classic prayer options here, especially The Lord's Prayer. It is simple but is the basis of our faith.
