1. Lawang Sewu, Semarang, Indonesia


It's a railway building where the prisoners during World War II were held captive. This is the scariest place in Indonesia you wouldn't want to visit. A lot of ghosts can be seen around here. The Dutch woman and headless spirits are reported to haunt this place. The "kuntilanak" or a female vampiric ghost can also be seen around here.



2. Corvin Castle, Hunedoara, Romania


If you want to know if Dracula is real, you can visit this castle. Vlad the Impaler is a famous character from Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula. According to this book, this character is a bloodthirsty ruler. Some believe that Vlad was in prison at Corvin Castle. That's where scary sightings of Dracula were reported to happen.



3. Kehoe House, Savannah, Georgia, USA


In 1892, this house was built by William and Anne Kehoe. They have 10 children and they all live in this beautiful home. Centuries later, it became a bed and breakfast. The guests here reported hearing mysterious sounds on the property. Savannah is known to be a very haunted city where the Kehoe House is located. That makes it even scarier.



4. Forbidden City, Beijing, China


The Forbidden City is believed to be haunted even if it's located at the center of Beijing. In 1940, an apparition of a woman in white had already been reported. She can be heard crying and you can hear it echoing in the halls. Although it's a great tourist spot even if this place is haunted. Edinburgh Castle was a fortress during the 11th century. Many people reported a lot of scary experiences when they visited the castle. They heard unexplained music that echoed through its halls. According to the guests, it might be from the ghost piper. This piper died in this castle centuries ago.

It was built in 1913 to become a retreat house for the Dominican order. But during the second world war, it became a refugee camp before being a Japanese headquarters. That's when brutal acts were committed such as rape, torture, and even decapitation of the refugees. In the present day, many ghost sightings are constantly reported by visitors.
