What is love?
The word love is shrouded in controversy that suggests a lot of misinterpretation. It all depends on how you perceive love. One’s definition of love is often linked to previous experiences one has had in life. A good point to start from is to consider your experiences in the past or immediate relationships. How do you define love? Is love based upon what we see, what we hear, what we feel or what we know?
What do we see about love?
We have over time believed that, “seeing is believing”. When we observe things, images are implanted into our minds, which create impressions of what we believe thereafter. The big question here is “what are you seeing? Is it based on facts or falsehood? Many times we feel safer and more secure when dealing with factual, tangible objects. Our confidence in these things tends to increase. Do you feel safe and secure when you are in the company of your loved ones?
What do we hear about love?
Those that purport to love you will always want to tell you what they want you to hear. They have a fear of losing you through their misuse of words. This is a deception that is not grounded in love. True love calls for sincerity, faithfulness, care. Love is intimate. It preserves and rewards. Love is plenteous. It respects. Love is forever. Love is when I got to be with you.
What do we feel about love?
Human feelings are very controversial with a sound basis on environmental experiences. Love is not based on feelings alone. Love starts in one's heart. It rests there in until you meet one person with whom you connect totally.
What do we know about love?
Knowing is strictly based upon one's past experiences, including what we have previously heard, seen, and felt. Love is better told by those in love. Are you in love? What have you heard, seen, and felt about love that makes you believe that you know something about love?

Lovely Valentine Goodies
Love on Valentines Day
Ever since St. Valentine passed on, many a man and woman have fallen all over themselves during the month of February in attempts to prove their love for those closest to their hearts. We see a splash of red here and there. At the end of the day we still ask ourselves 'Was there Love in that relationship'.
I believe in finding the deepest love in one's heart and never in material things. After you strip the love birds off everything, only love will be left in their hearts. If you think you love someone, then take them out on a picnic to a quiet place where nothing disturbs the two of you. At that moment when you are just pleased to be in each other's company, love will rear its lovely head. There will you discover how Love is eternally ingrained in our hearts.
