People That We Meet in Our Lives For some Reason

Reasons for every season -- Our own thoughts

Our lives -- huh -- are they written somewhere up there? These inquisitive thoughts have been around forever -- and now that we have reached certain matureness, we feel the need to let it out. For some reason we are just writing with the flow -- letting our minds go. We certainly don't know how this article is going to end.

Are we being guided in our written task?

Besides our parents, of course, we have met people that changed our lives. Persons that defined our character and our ways. Comes to our mind our grandma or nana, some uncles... and then our friends from grammar school.

Music was always around us and kept us going... but three persons come to our mind on a personal level: Our Math tutor, our History teacher and Diane Chambers.

Our mind became visual with the cameras that our dad used to work with back in the late 60's. From Pentax to Canon and back to that 'Kodak moment' in our childhood, life came to us unfolding itself like a Christmas present slated with sheer joy. Science, events from the past, and our unique humor sculpted the person in us. However, as we said from the beginning, was there a heavenly schedule for all these? Are we suppose the mess up and then learn, apparently, from our mistakes in this drama of life?

Philosophy of life

The video that you will see at the end of this article, is so deep that, Gee! When we watched it, we were almost in shock.

Was like... hum! for a strong reason, or for a 'season' we found this clip on YouTube. To make it more dramatic, we found out that the author of this inspiration was 'Mr. Unknown.'

We are writing a hub inspired by an unknown writer. How interesting! Enough was enough!

Between our parents' advice, and our teachers words, we became owners of our own destiny. Our moral foundations were laid and we felt the responsibility to make our parents proud of us. We were lucky to make moves that changed our lives for good. Can you relate to these thoughts? You may have your own experiences... or better said, your own personal unfolding journey!

Without expecting it, we came into people's lives

In a previous article we compared the love of the world to the 'Second law of Thermodynamics.' How can we enunciate it in simple words? Is easy: you give, and you shall receive. What we are trying to say is that... for a hidden cause-effect law of nature, we are bound to interact, adjust, change and finally reap what we sow. We are to meet people that will change our lives, as though they were appointed to meet us... even before birth. Enough of us for now!

Enter Diane

We met Diane by accident on LinkedIn. Then again, bumped into each other on FB.

She was the person that would praise our abilities and talents. At times, her humor was contagious and vibrant!

She was a survivor on many levels. She was a beautiful soul with that unique smile! Who could say no to her??

There you have it!

people-that-come-into-our-lives-for-a-reason

Diane on a personal level

Believe it or not, she had time for her FaceBook friends. It was like she wanted to cheer all of us with her charm! She knew about our struggles and passion. She was like one of us.

At times she would come with words of her own, just to make us laugh -- and boy she did!

Geez, she was so exceptional!

people-that-come-into-our-lives-for-a-reason

Interview??

We did want to interview her and were ready to take the task with so much pride. Diane was having busy weeks and... she was not ready for that interview of a lifetime. She did leak some quick answers on PM, but for most of the part, she wanted us to keep her privacy intact.

An Oscar in a foreseeable future?

At times, we had interesting conversations. From the industry, the Illuminati and that Oscar!!

I asked her how would she feel if she ever won an Oscar?? She was straightforward!

Her kindness will never be forgotten!

She wish she had enough time to get an Oscar. But also wanted to share that day with us!

She was a people's person! All of us have our own story. We didn't know she was going to leave soon!! All seemed to be under control. Some personal issues cannot be shared as asked politely by her.

She wanted the best for all of us and we followed her example. We will never forget this caring woman and her advice. Seems like was yesterday that we were able to say good night and rest well, my friend!!

Until we see you again, Angel Diane!! Good night!! X0X0X0!

A Christmas spirit surrounded by angels and our friends...with fun and a smile from left to right..!
  • THE ACT OF GIVING
The act of Giving. since we are born, we deal with this simple word over and over; the first paragraph that was heard by the author was 'give and you shall receive'. Probably was at church or read or heard about from our parents. This is a philosophi
  • Best Ways To Stay Positive in Your Life
For many of us life is joke, like ourselves. But being serious now, life can be disheartening when we have to face our daily problems, that seem to amount to something and never slows down. We have this mental tunnel effect, and we want so bad to see
  • Our Muses, Are They These Winged Friends In Disguise?
We never intend to be preachy or too cliché. We just write with our own mind and thoughts. As you can see we just go with the flow. Did we make research? Just a bit, and we could've finished this hub overnight, but we went to bed...

Thanks Bgamal!!

We all miss her. Appreciate your words!

Gary Anderson from Las Vegas, Nevada on May 03, 2015:

I knew Diane in High School. I liked her, but didn't know of her talent. I found her again in Facebook. I am sorry she is gone. She is missed.

Joseph De Cross (author) from New York on June 04, 2014:

Dianna Mendez on June 02, 2014:

You give people lots to ponder on this question. I believe people come into our lives for a reason. Each person is important and can affect the way we view life. Make it positive! Blessings!

Joseph De Cross (author) from New York on August 22, 2012:

Hi there Debbie, For some reason we have witnessed life thoroughly. There are times that we wonder, if we have been on earth before. One of the reasons is our love for history and science. We love dates and we know what we were doing at certain moments in our childhood. The topic is truly interesting and hopefully we can exchange views about it. Thanks for reading us!

Debbie Villines from Iowa on August 16, 2012:

I really do appreciate this hub, you wrote here; and I can relate to the fact that we were born here for a reason. I often wonder if we seen what our lives was like, long before we came to this Earth. What do you think on this topic? But somehow we didn't really know the outcome of what would happen in the end of our Lives, if we did we probably wouldn't of come to this place, to experience it. Thanks for sharing a great hub.

Joseph De Cross (author) from New York on June 27, 2012:

Anupma,

Hi there friend! There is a reason for everything. With Science backing our

logical assertion, we believe that energy... the energy from the whole Universe never ceases to exist or pragmatically gets destroyed at all. Twists of fate, luck and premonitions are already set... even before being born. This provoking thought goes beyond any rational explanation and we just go with the scientific flow. Thanks for leaving a meaninful comment Anupma.

Thanks Lathing,

Life is so unpredictable at times, that we do not worry as much as before. We understand you perfectly. You have a nice day!

Dr Anupma Srivastava from India on June 18, 2012:

Very true. I agree with you. I remembered so many people who left their impact on me. Everything has a reason behind it.

Great hub...

Voted up awesome, interesting and beautiful.

LaThing from From a World Within, USA on June 18, 2012:

I do believe that things happens for a reason, and, like you said, joining Hubpages, also has a reason. This hub couldn't have come at a better time. Life with its twists, and turns..... I am at one of those turns...... You know what I mean!

Voting up and sharing.......

Joseph De Cross (author) from New York on April 24, 2012:

Great comment pickles! We have so many mysteries in life unsolved and hard to understand. But we learn something new everyday. Thanks for staying around and reading our hubs.

picklesandrufus from Virginia Beach, Va on April 24, 2012:

Thought provoking hub! Loved the video as well. People come and go in our lives, but each time I look back, it becomes easier to understand why our paths crossed.Maybe it is maturity or perhaps wisdom. Either way, each time, a little piece of life's mystery is solved. Really enjoyable read.

Joseph De Cross (author) from New York on April 23, 2012:

Thanks for stopping by and commenting Flora. Hope your family is doing better. We all have a call..or an appointment with the big guy. We all have influences and connections that guides us no matter what. Some are calles as angels and others are those mentors from history. Thanks again for the feedback.

Flora Breen Robison on April 23, 2012:

Most people in my life have had an impact on me whether for good or for bad. A lot of people have been around my whole life, some for several years, some for just a school year, some for just days. Through age and disease, several people important to me in my life--my non-online life --are fighting for their lives. I know some will survive, and some will not. But they all seem to be having health issues at the same time and they are around the same age.

Joseph De Cross (author) from New York on April 22, 2012:

Good Earth day Sunnie! This was an inspiration that came right on! We didn't even know that it was 2a.m. on Earth day/ A coincidence? The drums are still delivering those words! Thanks for your warm commenting and support!

@Yes Gypsy Rose Lee, We have come to see life from different perspectives, whether scientific, phylosphical or just a mind already set on our own path... in life/

@KatrineDalMonte,

There are people that we meet that curve the guidance owed to us from creation. For a certain reason we meet persons that will change our future...was amazing to have the words ready to be put down on cyber hub.

@iAMaUDRALEIGH, I can tell you paused the video and took your time to catch the best paragraphs for your own pondering. We were surprised as well to find this video. You always promoting our hubs and keeping with our rants as well. Appreciated!

@Sweet KellyWard, There is a reason for everything, nothing was left to random outburst of what we call fate. I agree with you on the power of the video. Scary at times but was there for grabs! Thanks!

@Martie Coetser, still waiting a call from Charlize!! Maybe I should tell her about this video, and we were supposed to meet one day! But oh well, I will remind her when we get famous one day... Your words are much appreciated. Hugs and embraces until we get our own call.

@ Hi Ziyena! Thanks for stopping by, and welcome to our community! Glad to see you hopping around.

@Tammy S, we didnn't even know this hub was going to end this way...and even was going to become sort of a thread Lol! Thanks for checking on us!

@Reflecting pool, Can you believe that we were just having a ranting inspiration? Thanks for reading us anyway!

@BLILLYBUC, Thanks for commenting and keeping us in your thoughts. For some reason we are here at HP, like many other friends. Happy earth day!

@Always exploring, We were sad and touched too. We felt like we were talked to, one on one. The video was powerful enough to make us finish this hub at 2 a.m. Don't be sad, there are better times for all of us.

@Victoria lynn, trying to keep up with each one of our fellow hubbers, and all are important to us. We know your story and real friends are there for you at any circunstance. If they walked away, was for a reason...just see the positive side of it. The true came out anyway!

@ChelseaCharleston, We are overwhelmed by the response to this hub. Thanks for taking your time and reading us!

@Mary615, You have an awesome heart that have helped their own kids in distress. I commend your effort as a mother and as a friend. Regards!

@RealHouseWife, We never gave up, we just needed to take care of things that got out of hand. Thanks for being part of a circle of friends, that fought those cyber bullies. Were we suppose to be here for that and other things?

@Curiad, Is an honor to have you commenting. Your hubs are more than just inspirational! Thanks for being around, and teaching us everyday!

@HappyBoommerNurse, There is a reason for everything. Like Vinaya and others pointed out: There is a connectivity in all. The past is part of today, hand in hand with tomorrow. Never thought myself commenting this way. Thanks so much!

@Faith Reaper, we saw you growing exponentially. We saw you at a score of 33... and your profile got our attention, and you came back to us. Our reason to be here can be explained fully by our Maker. If the Universe has no end, then his love is infinite. I think so.

@Thanks Debbie Brooks, You have gone t hrough so much in your life... that you can make a book about it. There is a reason for you to be here. Your mom is happy up there watching you interacting with us. Bless you heart.

@Vinaya, there is a reason for you to be here. Why not anyone else? How come you are shoulder to shoulder with your hubber friends like no one else? You were chosen, and you were born from your devoted mom. Thanks for being...and keeping us updated about your paradisiac Country.

@Lyn.Stewart, Your are certainly right. We all learn and teach. The cycle closes and start all over again. Thanks for reading us!

@TillsonTitan, You have said something that brought us to tears literally. We never thought that our hubs would ever cause an impact on people. We just signed in an started our day by day labor. Inspiration came from left and right, and we met hubbers that gave us a warm hand and advice. Thnaks for being so caring...as a mom and as a friend.

@Pamela99, we agree with you 100%. There is not much to add to your comment. You sum up the meaning of our hub, and that means a lot to us. Have a wonderful week!

@Xstatic, Hi there! We think we all have different points of view. There is that rainbow under the sky and...the Sun comes up for us all. You are certainly right though. There are misterious things that happen and they don't have rational explanationa at all. Thanks for being here and joining this group of talented writers.

Jim Higgins from Eugene, Oregon on April 22, 2012:

I tend to believe that pretty much everything is a random happening. I can step in front that bus, or step back to the curb on my own. Yet... there are times I admit that people have appeared in my life and seemed to be there other than by happenstance. It is all very mysterious and I can't be as certain as other commenters here. I loved the video and the music and this Hub will surely elicit a lot commment and make us think, which is a good thing. Up/interesting/awesome.

Pamela Oglesby from Sunny Florida on April 22, 2012:

This was a wonderfully thought provoking hub and video. I also believe people come into your life for a purpose. I see that in some of my lowest times someone came along and helped me in some way, even if it was just to give me a new perspective. Thanks for sharing this wonderful message. Voted up and awesome.

Mary Craig from New York on April 22, 2012:

Thank goodness you kept coming back to Hub Pages...what would our lives be like without your hubs?

I especially liked, "life came to us unfolding itself like a christmas present", this is a great line...not just because our life is a gift to us but because we don't know what's coming next. Great hub. Voted up and pressed some buttons too!

Lyn.Stewart from Auckland, New Zealand on April 22, 2012:

I remember being told that everyone we meet has something to share or teach us and we have something to share or teach them.

Voted and pressed buttons ... thank you for sharing this.

Vinaya Ghimire from Nepal on April 22, 2012:

Every incident that looks sudden, in fact, is the outcome of a long regular process, and there is always a reason. Let’s consider this example. A man, about to cross the street, is hit by a car. The accident looks very sudden. The witness might say, the car came out of nowhere and suddenly hit the man. However, we must remember, the man and the car did not appear in the street out of thin air. That's why everything has reason,

We don't exist without reason, people don't come to us without reason.

Deborah Brooks Langford from Brownsville,TX on April 22, 2012:

I agree things do happen for a reason and what a great hub this is.. really enjoyed it my friend

It is no accident, the place, the people, the time, the reason we are, i.e., right here on hub pages. I do not know why, but I just know it is no accident. I know for some reason I am on hub pages, and it is no accident. In just these couple of weeks, I have grown, been encouraged, laughed, cried, felt love, and have been free to share. Lord, it was no accident you wrote this powerful hub and found that astoundingly profound video to share with all of us, who are here due to no accident. Agape love to you and all those here on hub pages. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Gail Sobotkin from South Carolina on April 22, 2012:

Enjoyed this hub and the wonderful video. I have certainly had people come into my life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. I think the thing that is constant about all three of these scenarios is that we can accept each of them as a blessing regardless of whether the relationship continues for a lifetime or ends after the reason is fulfilled or after a season.

Voted up, useful, awesome and interesting.

Curiad on April 22, 2012:

Wonderful hub and Video!

Kelly Umphenour from St. Louis, MO on April 22, 2012:

WTG Lord! I'm so glad July came around and you decided to give it another go:)

Mary Hyatt from Florida on April 22, 2012:

Lord, I believe people come into our lives for a reason. Maybe they are Angels send down to help us. Then when their work is done, they just go away leaving us with a broken heart and feelings of sadness. I voted this UP and I want my friends on FaceBook to read it, too.

chelseacharleston on April 22, 2012:

Fabulous hub!!

Victoria Lynn from Arkansas, USA on April 22, 2012:

Lord, what a thought-provoking hub. I think that we learn from everything, good or bad, that happens in our lives. Like alwaysexploring, I felt a peace the more I read on in your article. The video, too, helped solidify that feeling. I needed to read this, as it helps me to cope with some recent relationships that just walked away....Great job, my friend.

Ruby Jean Richert from Southern Illinois on April 22, 2012:

When i first started reading the words in the video, i became incredibly sad, thinking of the people who came into my life and are now gone. As i read further, i felt a peace, believing they came for a reason. I really enjoyed your hub. It made me stop and think..Thank you for sharing your words...

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on April 22, 2012:

The power of a few chosen words! Beautiful and thought-provoking hub!

We all have the capability to have a tremendous impact on the lives of so many...we may not even know that we are having an impact....in a way it is a serious responsibility.

I loved this hub! Well done!

Of course I can relate to this 'ranting' of you and yours, my dear Lord! Every word of it is pure truth.

And we will until the day we die be each other's teachers as well as learners.... Passing on the bucket.

As always, hugs to you and yours from SA.

kelleyward on April 22, 2012:

Wow that video was powerful! What a great hub to wake up to this morning. It's such a good reminder to know that everything in life has purpose and meaning. Voted up and shared!

iamaudraleigh on April 22, 2012:

Lord, thank you for writing this powerful piece! It was my fist read and gave me a lot to think about emotionally.

The video took my breath away! Lots of points rang true!

"Lifetime Relationships teach you lifetime Lessons"

"Take what you have learned and move forword"

The video was a great tribute Lord!

KatrineDalMonte on April 22, 2012:

Often our road crosses with that of others for a reason. And sometimes we get in our life the best there can be when we least expect it. Are we pre-destined? Is it the power of our subconscious that determines who we meet when and how...questions are endless really. Thank you for sharing your lovely hub.

Gypsy Rose Lee from Daytona Beach, Florida on April 22, 2012:

Voted up and interesting. I do believe that certain people come into our lives for a certain purpose whether it be fate, guidance or the Lord's will and they make our lives so much better. Wonderful hub.

Sunnie Day on April 22, 2012:

Good morning lord,
