In pursuit of excellence and perfection
This becomes a familiar subject for my way of thinking. I clearly recollect that for quite some time, I had developed irrational anxiety about my failure and letting other people down. However, due to several views along the way, my field of thinking along with striving became very counterproductive. Moreover, I became very self-critical and started craving approval. Due to this, I generated certain habits that obstructed my progress and held me back. This aspect was further riddled with many injuries during my college days. I am sure, many of them, I could have evaded, if I was patient and more attentive. Moreover, several times I commenced mid-season, a fresh new preparation and training log, later in a few days of unplanned activities. Thereafter, several nights were spent ruminating regarding my poor performance, making me worry about the more work to come. And the sad part of it is that the fear of failure kept me away from commencing and trying any additional work that I could easily perform.
