Take it slowly and build back the broken strings
If you truly want to understand how to get your former girlfriend back, there are a few actions you must take in order to have a better chance of success than if you simply wait and hope. Breakups are inevitable, but it doesn't imply you'll never get back together with your ex.
There have been numerous instances where couples reunite after a breakup and are 10 times stronger than before. The following steps below will help you carefully let your ex-girlfriend know that you still want to have a lasting role in her life.
To discover how to get your ex girlfriend back, you must first begin by reaching out to her and re-engaging in her life. Playing hard to get is probably not the greatest method to begin with, Communication is essential, but you must gradually increase the frequency with which you contact her, or you may scare her away from the start. It demonstrates that you still love and want to be a part of her life by being interested and having your presence felt in her life.
To stay in touch, send her an email or send her an SMS. Why send her an email or send her an SMS when you can just call her? Consider this: Would you want to pick up the phone and call your ex after you've broken up? It would be a less forceful way to keep her in the loop of her life by sending her an email or SMS.
It's difficult to refuse an Email or SMS because she's already opened her mailbox and it wouldn't hurt to read it. Start gently with easygoing approaches like "Hey, how are you?" in your text or email. Rather than hitting her with a thousand reasons why you want her back, ask her, “What's up?” She'll freak out and want you out of her life as soon as possible.
This is a must-do step for you. If you want to get her back, keep away from all the girls. If she or her pals see you out with other girls, I'm sure you'll quickly disguise yourself and enter her dart board. Stay away from other girls if you're passionate about wanting her back.
Do you recall any major events that you and your partner experienced together? Birthdays of her parents, significant anniversaries, and significant dates in her life, for example. It demonstrates thoughtfulness by showing that you recall all of her minor details, making her feel cherished.
Send her a birthday card or give her parents a message or a present during these occasions to express that you care about her and her family. This manner, you may stay in touch with her while still showing that you care and treat her with respect.
Don't think twice to give her a call. When you're reaching out to her, use discretion. This is important in re-establishing your friendship with her, so call her and tell her what's going on and what you're up to. Remember not to call every day, exercise discretion, call once every few days, and gradually pique her interest in what's going on in your life by gradually increasing the frequency of your calls.
It's excellent if she starts calling you since it shows she's still thinking about and interested in your life. This is a strong indication that she wants to learn more about your life, and it will be the key to rekindling your relationship.
There is no magic spell or guaranteed strategy for rekindling a romance, yet we are all human. We make mistakes. We all crave attention and are curious about the world around us. One of the finest strategies to rekindle your relationship is to keep in touch and communicate. Remember not to overdo it, or you'll scare her away before you've ever started your plan to win her back. Slowly re-establish your relationship with her.

I agree. There's a lot of aspects you must consider.

There are a lot of factors to consider and chief among them is (why) you want to get back with your ex.
Sometimes people walk away from a toxic relationship and several weeks later they're feeling lonely. The answer shouldn't be to go back to your toxic ex just to avoid feeling lonely.
We have a way of "romanticizing the past" and using our selective memory to recall only the good times and not why it failed.
On the other hand if your ex (dumped you) then you have to figure out (why) you want to be with someone who doesn't want (you).
In order for your (ex) to have been "the one" (he or she) would have had to see (you) as being "the one".
At the very least a "soulmate" is someone who actually wants to be with you!
