Will A Real Republican Please Stand Up?

Political View from the Underclass

March 17, 2014

The Republicans has been in a state of transformation for quite a few years. It seems like since the George W. Bush Republican Presidency no credible Republican has ran for President, even before 2000, maybe. The Republican Party has never voted in the partisan lockstep fashion exhibited since 2010 even when it was the party of Lincoln. The previous Administration made glaring major mistakes in the beginning and end of eight years of a Republican Presidency. During those eight years many problems were created and few were solved. The Republican brand ran aground and the Obama Candidacy brought worldwide attention to the Republican Party’s mishandling of the Nation and world affairs.

The old Republican Guard and Moderates seem to have stood down after W. fumbled the ball. The reasonable and bi-partisan Republican leadership realized that before the American people would vote their party back in office they would vote for a Black Democratic man or a White Democratic woman. So the real good Republicans Candidates retreated to the back of the bus. Though everybody in the world including the Republicans knew they couldn’t win in 2008 somebody had to carry the GOP flag and take one for the Giffer. The Democrats would have won with the 1st Black or the 1st woman. The White Man’s ability to be president was questioned even in the Republican Party by Republican Women. Now, there in might be the true rebirth of the GOP, Republican Women.

Where are the real Republicans? They are standing behind the conservatives, aka (Tea party). The Republicans had the majority only in the senate when they lost the 2008 Presidential race to the Democrats. The Republican majority leader in the senate said the most important task at that time was, to make sure President Obama was a one term President. THERE WERE TWO WARS BEING FOUGHT AT THE SAME TIME COSTING THE LOST OF THE SURPLUS LEFT BY THE LAST DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT. THE ECONOMY WAS IN A TAILSPIN AND MILLIONS OF AMERICANS HAD LOST AND WERE LOOSEING THEIR JOBS AND THE SENATE MAJORITY LEADER’S MOST IMPORTANT TASK WAS TO MAKE OBAMA A ONE TERM PRESIDENT, WHAT KIND OF LEADERSHIP WAS THAT… I DON’T KNOW IT WAS A CRAZY, SPITEFUL AND HATEFILL STATEMENT MADE BY A LEADER AT THAT TIME IN SPACE.

Since, all true blue Republicans became shamefaced after the GOP’s flag was taken down by the people. The American people were awake when the Republicans ruled with an iron hand for eight years. They remembered that The Decider was the one who made the decisions in his administration. The people saw for the first time a Vice-President with powers of the Presidency helping to lead. The people heard and read about those who didn’t agree with and didn’t go along with the Bush Administration being labeled traitors or anti-americans. After absolute partisan control for eight years the true blue Republicans knew their gig was up. They had no choice but, to give the far right conservatives the freedom to represent the Republicans in the 2010 mid-term election. President Obama managed to pass Financial and health care reform with the help of two brave Republican Women. This was accomplished before the 2010 mid-term and the insertion of tea party Republicans giving the Republicans a majority in the US House of Representatives. In less than two years the Republicans were able to pull the wool over enough people eyes to get control of two of three branches of Government.

Now, with a sleeper cell installed in the house, the conservatives and the tea party could be about the business of making sure Obama is a one term President. To make sure The President has only one term the conservatives, which consist of financial speculators and health insurance providers, stopped lending to the people and health insurance deductions went up and coverage was less. Conservative job creators stopped hiring and began laying off because the President was talking about them paying more taxes. They said the President’s taxing policy which he was thinking about was hurting job creation. Today to throw gas on the fire, the conservative oil company speculators are saying the president and not them is driving up the price of gasoline.

The tea party’s job is to sleep and only awake to oppose any and everything the President proposes. They are in position to become active after the 2012 election if and when Obama is reelected. The people have pulled the wool off their eyes since the mid-term elections and have seen the tea party conservatives and heard them to be the enemy of all working class people, Republican, Democrat and Independents including Tea Party Members. The middle class today are targeted and labeled as the underclass was yesterday. It is too late for a real republican to get in this race, but maybe in 2016 there will be a Real Republican Presidential Candidate that will offer to return the Republican Party to the people.

To be truthful Rod I don't believe it will happen but it's the right thing to do.There are so many wrong ways but one right way. most Ego based solutions are wrong solutions. What you loved about the GOP ain't there no more maybe it never was

...Thanks for your view

Rodric Anthony Johnson from Surprise, Arizona on July 16, 2016:

I don't see it happening. I left the Republican party to become Independent, but I still have love for the old dead donkey. If a leader steps up to unite the party, I might go back. I actually liked the Tea Party because of the dogma it taught, but it seems to be dying or dead too. I plan on writing in a candidate. But my vote will count for something. I still think Mitt Romney can do this.

junko (author) on July 16, 2016:

I agree that there is no party standing in line to replace The Republican Party. Some Real Republicans will have to stand up and together pull the GOP out of the Tea Party's grip entirely. Then they must publicly denounce The Tea Part and move the Party to the left at lease as far as it was before the Tea Party. They must show a willingness to debate and reason again. The Tea Party will not self deport the Republican Party, it will take Real Republicans to take their Party back.

mio cid from Uruguay on July 16, 2016:

I am a liberal and a Democrat but I don't think it's good for the country to have a one party system. And there is no party in sight that can replace the Republican Party in the way the Republican Party replaced the Whig Party.

I think and hope you are right mio cid and i also think the beginning of the end was the 2010 mid term election. Thanks for commenting.

Not only will Trump loose the election but he will be the end of the republican party.

junko (author) on July 15, 2016:

Is Donald Trump the Real Republican the Republican Party needs and been looking forward to for the 2016 elections???

junko (author) on February 01, 2016:

Thank you Groundhog for those encouraging words, my friend.

groundhog on January 30, 2016:

I think you are doing a very good job in voicing your opinion out there Keep up the good work Looking forward to reading some more of your articles

Dayinagirl3: The Old Guard Republicans are trying to wait for the natural progression of politics in 2016. The Republican-Teaparty is trying to knock the political train off the tracks and that is logical to the young guns. But they are playing a dangerious game. For the last 4 years they have applied the emergency brakes on the nation's Federal Economy. They know that taxes must and will be paid soon no matter who is president and the jobs must open very soon. If the President is reelected taxes will be paid and jobs,Government and Private sector will reemerged. The teaparty will be over and the GOP will dismiss the teaparty and it will fade back in history. Thanks, for reading and commenting.

Davinagirl3 on September 02, 2012:

Fear has overcome logic. I hope to hear from a real republican, soon.

You present a good argument for your views. Can't say I agree with all of them, but you do have some valid points and facts. Thanks for being honest and upfront on your beliefs.

Thank you Ginger for stopping by and your comment. I hope we do find each others writing interesting and iron do sharpen iron.

Ginger Ruffles on June 03, 2012:

Great hub and you now have a fan based on that and your reply to AR alone. I usually wait and do more reading first but I'm pretty sure I will find more good reading here.

Rodric Anthony Johnson from Surprise, Arizona on May 05, 2012:

As democratic as ever, in the true sense of the word. I vote up each time I visit. I still enjoy the conversation that this hub has started. Keep it up Junko as I know you will.

junko (author) on May 04, 2012:

Rodric29, If you have done that, then by all means vote and see what happens.

Rodric Anthony Johnson from Surprise, Arizona on May 04, 2012:

Junko, I did do those things which is why I want to give Mitt a chance. I never voted for the president though I supported him and still do support him as my leader. Now I have a chance to support a new idea. I want to take it.

I don't get to vote for the executive anyway, but my popular vote is what I lend.

junko (author) on May 04, 2012:

American Romance, debate is good for both of us, we can learn something from each other . I will never delete you comments and deny my readers the flip side of my comments.

American Romance from America on May 04, 2012:

Junko, nothing I wrote in my comment was opinion. All facts that you nor any liberal can dispute! Everything I told your readers has and is happening! I will however say next time I will try to stick more to the jest of the hub! And I will compliment you for having the backbone to publish my comments!.......most of your cohorts will not!..........funny though they continue writing to my hubs and expecting to get published.........and I always do!

junko (author) on May 03, 2012:

Thanks for the wave dusty, I understand you standing down here.

junko (author) on May 03, 2012:

Rodric, You take this vote for granted, and don't realized it's importants. You want to see what will happen if you vote Mitt in for four years. All I can say to you is stop, look, listen, than, think and vote.

Rodric Anthony Johnson from Surprise, Arizona on May 03, 2012:

Junko, I have been off my game. I have not come back and weighed in a a while like I intend to. I have definitely chosen sides and decided to support Mitt Romney for president.

I want to give him a chance and see if he will do anything different. If not, out he goes in four years too.

50 Caliber from Arizona on May 03, 2012:

Junko, I came I saw, but I'm not sure I can play here, the dirt's being slung to high but I do appreciate your article and take on this issue, fortunately I get to be my own moderator in these debates, I know you have seen me around the others and seen my comments. I'm just here too late as the brawl is on and I defer you to my Boss on that,

junko (author) on April 16, 2012:

Feenix, my brother how could I every forget that disrespectful disgraceful diatribe. You wrote it supposely to explain why you were a right-winged conservative, but you never explained why you are like you are. That was when I first notice you and commented on your game. After two months of hardly being notice, you turned a trick and became a star with the right winged conservatives here on hubpages. You have become a voice for the far right in the last 10 months. Sorry I couldn't find the answer to my question in that hub, but in my search to find the hub I found the answer to my question. Your people and your president should not take it personal with you, it's just business, and that is the answer to my question.

feenix on April 16, 2012:

I have written several hubs that explain the way I vote and the reason why I am a conservative Republican.

If you get the chance, read my hub entitled, "I Am A Right-Wing Conservative Because I'm Black."

junko (author) on April 16, 2012:

Feenix, I figured you were a voter, but Iam shocked to know you voted color and personality blind since your first vote in 1968. I wonder what caused you to vote just as blindly Republican as other blacks blindly vote for Democratic personalities? If you thoughtfully answer that question, Ithink I will better understand black conservatives.

junko (author) on April 16, 2012:

RODRIC29, it is good that you are open minded and willing to listen because that is the only way to learn more than you know. President Obama is divisive because he is what he is and you should not feel scolded if you are doing nothing wrong. I think you know why he scolds the far right and why they scold him. Thanks for stopping and talking.

feenix on April 16, 2012:

Hey, Rodric,

All I know is I always vote; however, I have never voted for an individual in my life.

I vote only for a political party, and as far as I am concerned, the only party that deserves my vote is the Republican Party -- and that has been the case ever since 1968 when I voted for the first time.

Rodric Anthony Johnson from Surprise, Arizona on April 16, 2012:

I want to weigh in here but it may be over my head. I am still deciding who to support in the upcoming election--not that it matter since I do not vote for president. I tend towards the party in transition.

American Romance, I like all the information that you posted. I can research it.

Junko, bravo on this. I am hoping that Governor Mitt Romney is a real Republican--one that unites the parties into a common goal. President Obama seems divisive to me. When I listen to him speak I feel like a scolded child. He was not like that in the beginning.

junko (author) on March 26, 2012:

Thanks Feenix for stopping by and for the agreement and take on the Democrats. They are really scared of the reach of the Conservative Right Wing. They were afraid to openly support the President his first term.

feenix on March 26, 2012:

Hey, junko,

You make a lot of good points in this article. And you are right; the Republicans are a party in transition, which is a good thing, in my opinion.

The Democrats, on the other hand, are stagnant. They are still mired in that socialistic swamp that they have been occupying ever since the mid-1960s.

junko (author) on March 23, 2012:

Thanks again Jay, for reading and commenting on what I do, you are very encouraging.

Jay on March 22, 2012:

This is the truth if ever I read it, and I've read many lies about the present President. It is so sad that many of us live in glass houses and we try to hide! Thanks again for taking the time to express the real deal. Jay

junko (author) on March 14, 2012:

American Romance, disregard my last transmition concerning you acting nice. I knew you were not nice when I implied you were. Your unkind opinions and words about your President is legendary here on hubpages. That Hub Rant had nothing to do with the ideas I expressed in the hub. All you did was, you repeated all you said in the past, until you got tired. That's your Ideas and opinions and you have already written them. Its not nice of you not to respond to my ideas and opinions on my hub. I know you know how to act. Are you a real Republican? LOL

American Romance from America on March 14, 2012:

Junko, what was that "nice" bit? LOL! I'm always nice! Ok lets recap to help your memory! Obama gave us health care that will penalize the majority up to 3000 a year in fines........but hey now we got health care and wont have to worry about rich foregniers coming hear for heart transplants any longer!

We bailed out GM, millions of stock holders forked over their hard earned money, or should we say had it forcefully taken from them and handed to the unions who support Democrats! We then used taxpayer money to purchase billions in stock that we still have in hand! At the same time GM is giving bonuses to the employees and hasn't even offered to buy back their stock from the taxpayer! GM was forced to build the Volt, they sold 600 of them last year! Toyota sold 770,000 cars even after their largest factory was destroyed by a Tsunami!

I have never driven over one bridge built by Stimulus, have you?

Billions went to green energy like Solyndra and 5 other companies......all bankrupt and taking the taxpayer money with them!

GE was given 10 MILLION to develop a new light bulb, they succeded and their new LED light bulb only cost 60 those are flying off the shelf!

Billions were given to Banks who promptly took bonuses and bailed out their sister companies over seas! Of course this started because of Barny Frank and one of his boy toys!

Obama has scolded conservatives since Gifford and Rush, yet accepted 1 MILLION into his relection fund from Maher after he called Palin a cunt and referred to Bachman as a milf and other horrible words! Several liberal radio hosts followed without ever a peep from the Left!

We sent half a million over to India to study ants, we sent 1.5 million to study prostitutes in China. ...........and you guys can take it from there! Due to saying NO to anything to do with fossil fuels, we now suffer at the pump! 600 new regulations this past year have added over 10 billion in cost to the few businesses that chose to stay in America! Obama preaches daily how the rich don't pay their fair share, but the IRS says the rich pay 90% of all the bills! We have 67million on welfare, and half the country doesn't pay taxes at all..........where is the fair?

Obamas wife forced authorities to take the lunch away from a little girl that had juice, banana, and a turkey sandwich inside and forced her to purchase a school lunch! It now takes up to two years to get a business license in all the liberal states like CA and NY, while the profitable states will issue one in less than a week! ........whew I'm getting tired here! ...did I leave anything out? Oh almost forgot the average salary for middle class AMericans has dropped by $2400 dollars since Obama took office. I think that is enough for you guys to think about for a while! ............Please let me know if you need more!...........cause I got it!..........see junko..........always nice! LOL

I don't agree that President Obama has destroyed our country. I'm not looking at eggs and counting chickens and I haven't heard the fat lady sing. Thank you American Romance, for being nice. Your kind words has been noted.

American Romance from America on March 13, 2012:

Obama, gives a great speech and the morons swoon! Dont count your chickens before they hatch!..........Obama has destroyed our country and I too hope he gets his walking papers!

junko (author) on March 13, 2012:

mio cid, thanks for talking. you are most likely right about a serious defeat making the Real Republican retake the reins of the GOP. That defeat should include getting rid of the pledged sleeper cell placed in congress by Grover Norquis.

mio cid from Uruguay on March 12, 2012:

I stand up and give you a standing O, the rep party will resuscitate from it's ashes if the party experiences a serious defeat in the upcoming election, at that point the right wing nuts with limbaugh as their leader will be sent back to the dark corner where they belong and the adults will dare come out from the shadows and retake the reins of the party
