As riveting as the case against convicted child molester Jeffrey Epstein is, the even bigger question on many peoples' minds is who else will be charged. The New York Post reports that in addition to federal prosecutors conducting an “ongoing investigation of uncharged individuals” connected to Epstein, according to court papers, prosecutors are giving Epstein's defense attorneys "certain documents and materials" containing both "confidential" and "highly confidential" information that shouldn’t be made public."
The Post reports that the court papers state that the documents contain "images of nude or partially-nude individuals.”
The report takes on a special significance when it is realized that central to a lawsuit filed in 2014 by alleged victims against Epstein and his close friend Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of the mysterious American-Israeli robber baron Robert Maxwell, are allegations that Epstein ran a ring of underage "sex slaves" servicing, as the complaint states,
"numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known Prime Minister, and other world leaders."
An insider no less connected than Christine Pelosi, daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a Democratic National Committee official, has tweeted that it is:
"quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may - whether on Republicans or Democrats.”
The New York Post:
"The 'highly confidential' information 'contains images of nude or partially-nude individuals' that will only be made available to the defense 'under the protection of law enforcement officers or employees.'"
So sensitive are the images that Manhattan federal Judge Richard Berman was asked by prosecutors to first endorse a nine-page order prohibiting Epstein's lawyers from sharing the information with anyone not directly involved in the case.
The revelation by prosecutors of photographic evidence, whether still or video photography, follows on the heels of earlier reports of cameras hidden in Epstein's properties for the purpose of recording illegal activity.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports:
"According to investigators, Epstein had cameras placed in clocks and other items in the room to secretly record his sexual encounters and those of other influential men he invited into his homes to have sex with young girls."
The import of the report is earth-shattering. Obviously prosecutors are not sharing nudies of underage girls who are the victims. The "nude or partially-nude individuals” are other child rapists.
Epstein is alleged to have had victims as young as 12. The pilots of Epstein's private jets have been served with subpoenas.
The mainstream media's Internet news platforms, if not its television broadcast channels, have been ablaze with the connections between Epstein and many powerful or famous individuals. It is interesting that what would seem to be the Greatest Show on Earth is not even whispered about on the television channels which ordinarily cannot get enough of sex and mayhem, now that it possibly involves some of the richest and most powerful people on the planet.
In a ticklish position is Prince Andrew, who stoutly denies that he ever had sex with Virginia Roberts, "Jane Does #3" in the 2014 lawsuit. But unlike other figures who deny ever meeting Roberts at all, Andy cannot explain away a picture of him with Roberts, at 16, and Ghislaine Maxwell, with his hand around her bare midriff in a rather Creepy Uncle Joe fashion. The photo was taken in 2001 at Ghislaine Maxwell's London townehouse.
Prince Andrew was also reported as a guest of Epstein, along with a photograph of the two taking a stroll, years after Epstein had been convicted.
Roberts, now Virginia Roberts Guiffre, alleges that Epstein ordered her to have sex with Prince Andrew, and a variety of other powerful figures. Roberts' detractors mock her for saying she has met the Queen of England, but according to a timeline of the Sydney Morning Herald, in 2000, within the time period of Virginia Roberts' alleged sex slavery:
"Jeffrey Epstein is a guest at a party at Windsor Castle celebrating the birthday of the Queen."
Prince Andrew shows up in Epstein's flight logs for his two private jets. In 2000, he is logged in as traveling with Epstein, Maxwell, an "ET," an "AP," and a bodyguard.
The FBI has released an unusual appeal aimed at anyone who has traveled on Epstein's jets. From Bloomberg:
"U.S. prosecutors on Monday encouraged anyone with information about Epstein’s conduct to come forward, not just potential victims. To the socialites, celebrities and politicians who attended lavish parties at Epstein’s homes in Manhattan or Palm Beach in the early 2000s -- or hitched rides on his private jet nicknamed the “Lolita Express” by the tabloids -- the request carried a clear message:
Come talk to us before we seek you out."
In other words, come find us before we come find you.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak
Another interesting photo is one of a well-known business associate of Epstein's, Israeli former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, at the front door of Epstein's mansion in 2016, long after he had been convicted and had served his time in a Florida prosecutor's sweetheart deal.
It is winter in Manhattan, but Barak nevertheless, behind the neck gaitor hiding half his face, looks not happy that his picture is being taken in the manner of the cat that ate the canary. A few hours later, according to the photographer as reported in the Daily Mail in 2019, four young ladies, quite young, can be seen entering Epstein's New York Mansion, one of several mansions around the world.
Present Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, and Barak's opponent in his hotly contested race for reelection, has lost no time slamming Barak's association with Epstein.
Trump and the Clintons
Finally there are two of the biggest attractions to the Epstein Show, the connections between Donald Trump, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Epstein. Trump's travel on Epstein's planes seems limited to one flight, which is not in a flight log but which is based on Epstein's brother Mark's recollections. Although Epstein and Maxwell at one point frequented Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Epstein was banned by Trump after complaints of advances by 16-year-old towel girl.
The flight logs are less kind to Bill Clinton. They show Clinton aboard on 27 flights, sometimes with Secret Service, sometimes without. This is in contradiction to Clinton's public statement from his press office, that:
“In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation,”
Clinton is apparently not referring to individual hops but to extended "trips" or groups of hops. Even with this reconciliation in numbers, Clinton was actually on six "trips," not four, and on some no Secret Service whatsoever is shown aboard. Freedom of Information Act requests to the Department Of Homeland Security from the group Judicial Watch, asking for the confirmation of Secret Service presence, or lack of it, on the trips, have gone unanswered.
Although Virginia Roberts in the 2014 lawsuit emphatically states that she never witnessed Bill Clinton engage in any untoward behavior with underage girls, she does say that Clinton must have known about "Jeffrey's girls."
Roberts told the UK Daily Mail of the alleged dinner:
"I only ever met Bill twice but Jeffrey had told me that they were good friends.'I asked, “How come?” and he laughed and said, “He owes me some favours.” Maybe he was just joking but it constantly surprised me that people with as much to lose as Bill and [Prince] Andrew weren’t more careful. Bill must have known about Jeffrey’s girls."
A photograph of Epstein with Trump at a party in NYC has gained wide currency on the Internet. Somewhat less so has a photograph of Epstein with Clinton, published in Vanity Fair, of Bill Clinton with Epstein in Brunei, during one of Clinton's "Asia" trips in 2002.
The Daily Beast now reports that Epstein had visited the Clinton White House multiple times in the early Nineties, possibly pushing back the relationship between the two by ten years.
Although one of Epstein's hallmarks was his far-flung network of friends and acquaintances, mere previous association of some unfortunate sort with someone who would turn out to be a convicted sex offender against children is not enough to place anyone under suspicion. However, the allegations in the 2014 lawsuit place one person who is indisputably close to Epstein at the center of the alleged child trafficking activities: Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell is the international socialite who made the introductions between many famous figures and Epstein, including Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew.
Ghislaine Maxwell is the daughter of Robert Maxwell, famed as a shyster, media mogul, and high-level spy for Israel. British PM George Galloway once called Maxwell "one of the worst criminals of the century."
Whether or not Maxwell will be charged is not clear. In another civil lawsuit filed by yet another woman, Sarah Ransome, Maxwell was accused of criminal behavior, as in the lawsuit in which Virginia Roberts was a party. Last December the Miami Herald reported:
"Ransome claimed that, in her early 20s, she was recruited to work as a masseuse for Epstein who, in exchange, promised he would help her get into fashion design in New York, according to her civil lawsuit, filed in January 2017. Epstein and Maxwell then kept her passport and threatened to ruin her life and physically harm her if she didn’t have sex with them and others in 2006 and 2007, Ransome said in the complaint."
Ransome has also accused famed attorney Alan Dershowitz, another name snared in the Epstein saga, of having sex with her when she was an underage "sex slave" of Epstein's. Dershowitz has denied the allegations and has fought back vigorously, even suing the attorneys for the alleged victims and winning a settlement, although the alleged victims themselves stand by their claims.
In a sordid side note, Dershowitz has thrown another member of his wealthy class under the bus, Nathan Myhrvold, the former chief of technology of Microsoft, by suggesting that Myhrvold is really the man Virginia Roberts had sex with, in a case of mistaken identity. Myhrvold has not commented.
Friends with Hillary, Bill, and reportedly especially Chelsea Clinton, Maxwell seems to be a nexus of sorts in the Epstein conglomerate, who shows up more than any other individual in Epstein's flight logs. Like the Cheshire Cat she can be seen smiling in the background in photo after photo of Epstein. It is unfathomable that she could not be a person of interest and not, at the very least, very closely questioned.
As if the intrigue in the Epstein case couldn't get any deeper, it was reported by Vicky Ward in the Daily Beast in July 2019 that disgraced former US labor secretary Alexander Acosta, who approved the original "sweetheart deal" which kept Epstein out of prison for life sentence charges, once said that Epstein "belonged to intelligence."
With Maxwell's father having been a known Israeli intelligence asset who was given a quasi-state funeral attended by then-Israeli President Chaim Herzog, Yitzhak Shamir, Ariel Sharon and Shimon Peres, it can be wondered whether there is any connection between Acosta's characterization, and Maxwell's Deep State pedigree. A blackmail operation in the heart of the US power structure would serve a foreign government well.
Maxwell once went on a yacht cruise with Chelsea Clinton for days, and attended her wedding, years after Epstein had already been convicted, and Maxwell had been named in the Jane Does lawsuit. How investigators handle Maxwell may well be the litmus test for how high in the power structure food chain prosecutors are willing to go.
The existence of elite child sex slave rings is not a new phenomena. It was thoroughly documented in the banned Discovery Channel documentary "Conspiracy of Silence," by a Nebraska State Senator who convened an investigative committee and uncovered a ring that exploited Boys Town in Nebraska. The film was pulled before airing for undisclosed reasons and all extant copies of the footage were purchased by an anonymous party. The lead investigator in the case died in a small plane crash.
