Donald Trump was elected president in 2016 when he beat the Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton. A substantial number of Americans, mainly Democrats, and leftists including communists refused to recognize the victory of Trump and started all sorts of machinations to undermine his presidency by talking of things like Russian connection. The atmosphere was further vitiated when the Democrats held a trial to impeach Trump. The country became a laughingstock in the world where the Senate was impeaching the president and ultimately Trump survived but the leftist group was able to with a mixture of voting fraud and some other considerations propel Mr. Joe Biden to the presidentship.

This man has been in public life for half a century and it is on record that he has done nothing significant during this period. All we heard about him is that his son has been taking some pecuniary benefits from the Chinese. Biden after taking over began to follow a one-point program to try and roll back all the policies of Trump.. He tried a policy of appeasement to Iran which collapsed like a pack of cards as the Iranians were not interested. He tried to mollycoddle the Chinese who gave no lift.

He tried to bypass the agreement Donald Trump had made with the Taliban by trying to escape as quickly as possible from Afghanistan. The result was he jeopardized the lives of hundreds of Americans who were left captive. In the end, the American army was instructed by Joe Biden to literally run away from Afghanistan. it was a chaotic retreat and for once the Americans began to realize they had selected the wrong man as the president.

He tried to undo the policy of migration put forth by Donald Trump by removing the ban on Muslims from certain countries which Trump had imposed and he opened up the southern border. When a massive influx began he developed cold feet but had no cogent plan to stop the influx of refugees from the southern border. Overall he conveyed a negative image of America all over the world. Worse he began to mollycoddle the Chinese in the hope that China will be subservient to America but again the Chinese are not interested.

Donald Trump has characterized Pakistan as a terrorist nation. Biden went about by stating that he would have good relations with the Pakistan army which has incidentally been ruling Pakistan since 1958 and has done nothing for the country except lower the standard of living and putting Pakistan on the grey list for terror financing. In addition, it lost more than half of the country when the Bengali Muslims broke away.

Trump rising

The clock has now turned a complete circle and Donald Trump who lost the last election though he told 70 million votes led to a feeling of remorse among his supporters in the United States. It must be appreciated that Biden was only a stopgap candidate and the vote was basically against Trump. It does not mean that Biden had won on his own. As things stand former United States President Donald Trump has a higher positive rating among voters, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey.

48 percent of the survey's respondents have a positive view of Trump, while 46 percent have a favorable opinion of Biden. American website The Hill has reported this citing the survey.

51 percent of respondents said Trump was a better president than Biden, while 49 percent have the opposite view.

The full poll results will be published online later this week, the report said.

The voter's honeymoon with Joe Biden has lasted just a few months and now almost on all fronts there is a surprising conclusion that Trump is the better president

Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey, is of the opinion that there is remorse among the general American public spearheaded by the supporters of Trump that Biden had let the country down.

1,578 registered US voters participated in the survey, which was conducted from September 15 to 16. It is a collaboration between Harvard University's Center for American Political Studies and The Harris Poll. A point that cannot be dismissed out of hand is that Trump lost the popular vote by only 5% and the very fact that he's getting 51% now means that the president has made a tremendous improvement and the warning bells for Biden are ringing.

Public approval of Biden has nose-dived since he assumed office. This is amid a surge in COVID-19 cases and the messy and disgraceful withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. His handling of migrants on the southern border have all added to the disenchantment of Americans with Biden

In July, Biden's approval rating had dropped to 52 percent from 62 percent in June, according to the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey.

Trump is now touring America in places where he has a lot of strength and hinting that he will be the man to take on Biden in 2024. But my personal feeling is that Biden may not last up to 2024, because astrologers who have taken readings from ancient Vedic astrology have forecast that Biden will not be president after 2023. In that case, there is a chance that Kamala Harris may be the opponent of Trump and I don't need to be a crystal gazer to tell you who's going to win

Last word

Sometimes I wonder how Joe Biden became president of the United States. He is such a lackluster individual without any individual character, who never did anything significant though half a century in politics and yet won the election. This can only mean that he won on a negative vote against Trump which was fueled by propaganda launched by the Democratic Party and leftists. I will not say the Trump is the ultimate and great president but is definitely a couple of notches higher than Biden but the sad thing is that by 2024, the Democrats would've ruined American prestige and power in the world to such an extent that even Trump coming back at that time may not be enough for America to regain its pre-eminent position.

In short Joe Biden is the Bahadur Shah of the United States. Readers will remember, he was the man who ruined Emperor Aurangzeb's empire. Biden will be wearing his crown.

Thanks, bill, you have a point. It's inevitable with the deep divisions that many will feel hurt either way.

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on October 14, 2021:

I make it a consistent policy not to comment on political races online, so I'll continue that policy. We shall see. Either way, win or lose, about half the country will be unhappy. :) And life will continue!

Tom, thanks for commenting. FDR was great, Trump is not in the same class but Biden as president; makes me want to die on a bed of mails laughing.

BIDEN, total disgrace, in Singapore everybody laughs at the conduct of this man, now I understand he is making overtures to the Taliban like he was trying with Iran. I shudder at the people supporting him in America.
